Switzerland is considered one of the three major German nations, alongside Germany and Austria. It's predominantly a Germanic culture.

Predominant. Though their are some Italian cultural lands to the very south, either way it gives me a much-needed stuff to do on the IC.

You could leave it as a Confederacy and move troops into it to unite it under Catholicism, that way Germany will have a chance to react to an Italian invasion of Germanic lands. Maybe a partition of Switzerland between the German nations each taking a slice and you taking the southern Alps?

Not that I can think, I plan on having some internal problems (and by that, go with exactly what Gar said) with the swiss and plan to have partition like Gar said, though I might get some latter just to spread the good faith you know?

It would make more sense for the Benelux countries to be taken by Green Germany, since its directly next to them and would act as a counter to Prussia.

Here's a crazy idea: What if the Low Countries are occupied by the U.C.S.A. (changed it to United Communist States of America because UCSA is catchier, deal with it), due to quasi-socialist riots following the re-reinstatement of the Low Countries as a nation, following a devastating war and occupation by several countries (possibly France, Green Germany, and Scandinavia), and now you have a reason for the Dutch exodus and the formation of the nation proposed earlier of a government-in-exile sort of state in the Dutch African colonies?

Boom, solves the land issue in Europe, solidifies me as a superpower (I should be one anyways; I'm the OP damnit, I need the weight ICly to keep things moving), and gives the reason for someone's nation to exist.

I get half - Two fifths of the Low countries.

Take 4/5ths, and I grab the coastal areas? It could be a collaborative effort between our nations---I wanted to get rid of their claim to the English throne, you wanted power to balance Prussia. And because of James II being in the Netherlands at the time, he/his descendants would have fled, establishing that British African empire! It all works!

Odd and unlikely, but you're the OP, I suppose. However, if the Green Germany had annexed it, it would be a point of argument between Anglo-Scandinavia and Green Germany, which could add to the flare of the RP and any coming conflicts.

Oh, and since the US is going to be split up amongst several nations, I don't imagine there will be any dominant superpower. The ASU will certainly be a runner up, as well as the various American states, perhaps the Ottomans, the Germanys, etc.

Do you mind butting out of Southern Sardinia? On a side note whoever's France can you give me Northern Sardinia? I'm playing as Italy (and Switzerland since NO ONE plays it) and I'd perfer to have ethnic Culturally Italian land

EDIT: Now that I think about it, I think we should partition switzerland between France, the Germany above Swiss, and me to give ethnic Italian lands to Italy, and ethnic French lands to France, and ethnic Germanic lands to the Germany.

That's a bit large--let me add you to the map I'm creating at the moment, with some territory reduction suggestions in Russia and Alaska. Sound good? (I just really don't want to edit in Italy and my nation again, I must've painted the U.C.S.A. like nineteen times on ten different maps)

Alright. I updated the map with my South American claims and connected my African claims, as well as gave Spain that little half of Sardinia, to compensate I took some small islands near my African claims. I also claimed French Switzerland. German and Italian players are free to claim Deutschschweiz and Svizzera Italiana respective regions.
