Fair enough. The Emirate would see Bulgaria as another nation to trade with and another nation to receive modern military technology from.

THis is going to sound stupid after I spent so much time trying to sort my claim out, but I'm gonna have to drop put, it's just a time issue. I'd rather drop put now then later when it's gonna be inconvenient for everyone else. I still think in general this was handled pretty well and I hope it turns out well for you guys

I am not exactly sure that will work with the rain and humidity requirements of the plants though I suppose you could use greenhouses of some sort.

You need to be within the Tropics and probably have some sort of rain forest going on to support their growth.

You people know nothing about markets. Even if someone is the sole producer of rubber they couldn't refine it by themselves and there's a reason why developed nations aren't resource based economies because there's no real growth from

Okay, so I'm back. Once I eat lunch, I'll post another newspaper article declaring war, then start up the IC thread. I'm assuming the Commie USA and the Knights of Malta would be interested in this as well..?

Austria might actually join in on the Scandinavian side just to deal damage to the Papacy, which, by the way, is technically not recognized by the government of Austria.

I posted in the news thread about the official Knights response.

Well first of all I never said we would be the sole producer of rubber, and second of all, we can process the rubber ourselves without help, so we wouldn't need outside powers coming in to take our resources and refine them for us. Many nations economies are helped by the resources they produce. I would agree with Neros and not dignify that with a response but our nations are allies so I'll let it pass.

Prove me wrong, seriously. If everyone uses to focuses on just exporting raw goods like rubber, they are going to have a backwards nation. Theres a reason why canada for example despite having untold mountains of natural resources chooses to drive itself into a service economy because theres more growth and more capital to earn from service based economies then primary resources

Doubt it. It'll be a single conflict limited to Ireland at best, perhaps some colonial conflicts at worst.

Are you getting the IC set up?

Well, considering the UCSA has ships heading for Ireland (maybe), the Knights of Malta are going to send something, and Spain practically declared war........yeah.

Anyways, yeah, the IC thing will get set up shortly, once my headache goes away. Sorry about the delay.

No trouble. And as you'll see in my next news release, I'm only sending a horribly lightly armed battleship-turned-hospital ship.

Look, we were just discussing the resource, because it is extremely useful for many things, and it is not available to all nations. No one said that was all we're focusing on. There are other things to be exported, like finished product, but that just happened to be what we were discussing.

And for your information, rubber in the form we use it is NOT a raw product. It comes out of the tree in a liquid form, and that is its raw state. It still has to be worked on.

You might not want to say that outloud, besides - Austria and a whole slew of other states are between you and the papal states.
I am from the United States, just so you know.
