Invasion of Ireland here. I'm only hesitating because I've never done a group thread thingymajig before, so I'm waiting for someone else to create one so I can emulate their format for the first post.

It is an RP group. You create a thread for a specific event. So if you're going to invade Switzerland, you create a thread for the invasion of Switzerland. Only events related to said invasion would be allowed in that thread. It keeps everything nice and organized.

I've been in Groups that have a Central IC thread, it's just very broad and general outline of what's happening in the world. Events that typically happen have their own separate thread that's in detail about something that happened in the Central Thread. I've also been in groups that do this, so I just assumed that we we're doing the first option considering Niki's AWRP and all.

Also; I noticed before people were on about agriculture, rubber, and the like. Thai Agricultural process is huge as hell to feed our population, so I'm sure some export is there. Those Midwest states are also world breadbasket, same with Russia and China. I also think the Rio de la Plata is an epic Agricultural Center (IIRC, Argentine was set to be a World Power in the 1900s due to it's export of Beef)

Because it'd be dull posting by myself, I'd encourage someone to RP as the Irish Free State, or post a few things there too. (Don't go all charging in there, though, declaring war left, right and center).

As for oil, your nation will first have to be able to find it, find it and then have the technology to drill it. Not sure how well it can if your nation is pretty not associated with west.

Well, oil interest started around 1914. The main reason oil was not pursued during the British Rule was because it was more profitable to focus on crops and such.

Don't worry I have you down as the Heretical Anglo-Scanian Union that has continued it's recent Catholic Genocide with the Aughoracy (how ever you spell it) Massacre which was because the Catholics revolting against the tyranny of the heretics, the Pope is willing to offer compensation for the loss of the Irish Oppressor Fighters, and is proposing to send in a paramilitary organization to teach the art of warfare against the tyrants.
