This was interrupted however by a shout of glee. He was startled out of his comfortable position by this, and his first natural reaction was to extend his claws, meowing hostilely. He stopped here, noticing that it was Mira that had startled him.

"Oh...sorry about that." he said, flushing and speaking in a somewhat embarrassed tone.

Mira's eyes widened at the unexpected concept of being caught, landing on her feet with a confused expression when she was most hastily dropped from ground level. Mira shook out her long red hair, stepping back a short ways and reaching up to put her hair up, mostly to keep it from getting too tangled."Hi...? Who might you be?"
Mira then looked in Josef's direction, and blushing lightly said "no, no, it was my fault, i was bored and kind of...well, jumping out of a window just sounded fun. i didn't know that anyone was out here...if i had i may have been a tad quieter." Mira's hair being pulled back made her ears seem all the more prominent, flaring out from the upper sides of her head in a slight slope, as she was embarrassed.

Josef grinned slightly in response. "It is fun, all the time. Of course, that's just me being a kind-of cat." he shrugged, waving his tail slightly behind him. "Is that your most common state? I like your ears in that form." he said, before bending slightly and hopping back up into the tree he'd been sleeping beneath, still looking towards her as he did so. He nodded towards the student that had caught her in a silent greeting.

Mira blushed a tad deeper shade of red, smiling and putting her left hand on her ear absentmindedly and flicking her black cat's tail, a remnant of her previous transformation, back and forth thoughtfully. "Yes, mostly human but with ears and a tail is my most common and comfortable state, what I am when I'm not trying. It takes concentration to be anything else...thank you..." Mira looked at the student that had caught her, suddenly aware that she shouldn't be jumping out of windows without looking to see who lay or trod beneath them. She cleared her throat quietly, "and thank you, as well." Mira hooked her right hand on the pocket of her black jeans, her left hand still holding her ear absentmindedly, and let her tail fall almost down to her dusty black leather boots. She gazed around her new surroundings, observing her landing site.

Josef stretched and yawned, his just barely pointed teeth visible as he did so, before yawning once more and stalking over to the end of the branch of the tree he was perch upon, laying his head on his hands and letting his tail droop to the left, hanging over the side of the branch and swinging freely in the gentle wind that pushed through the leaves of the forest. He entered his 'dreaming' state, though as usual he still retained his awareness of the outside world. "Well it's no wonder...that form's very...pretty." he said sleepily, the red that entered his face again and his words the only indication he was actually awake.

Mira blushed redder, embarrassed to be given such a straightforward compliment. She would have said thank you again, but since Josef seemed to be dreaming she decided not to disturb him. Mira sat down beneath the tree that he was in, crossed her legs and closed her eyes lightly with her hands resting palm down on her knees. She pushed herself to block out most of the physical world, pulling a tendril of consciousness deeper into her mind where most of her thoughts were kept, a mental arena that was all her own to find peace within. Her breathing became soft and even, her face and body more relaxed.

Josef sat in a similar state inside his dream world, obviously thinking hard about something. After a few minutes of this he stood, before he leapt into the branches above, hopping from tree to tree. He enjoyed doing this to his heart's content inside his dream world forest, very much similar to the one outside his mind, near the school. It felt natural to be doing it, his tail flowing behind him and to feel the wind rushing through his hair and the fur that reached just short of his wrists. Eventually he stopped, dropping down onto a gargantuan pile of catfish, reaching out for the first one and devouring it quickly. After he finished this small feast, he decided to go ahead with his plan, blinking slowly and opening his eyes to be met with the sight of the grass below the branch he perched upon. He extended a branch of his conscience slowly, before it connected with the outermost borders of Mira's own mind. He spoke nervously, as was quite obvious. Hey, Mira...this might be kind of early, but...um...I really like you and I was uh...I was wondering...I was wondering if you'd maybe...like to do something...sometime?

Ali had lost Seth and Olov somehow. He sighed and staggered towards the school, still somewhat in pain. Ababwa smiled as he remembered that old Disney Song he was named after.

"Prince Ali, amorous he, Ali Ababwa." he sang, walking towards his room, "Genuflect, show some respect, down on one knee. Try your best to stay calm, brush up your Sunday salaam, then come and meet his spectacular coterie."

Prince Ali Ababwa continued singing as he walked, smiling.

Seth stared at the sigils he carved and blew a sigh of releif. Thankfully it was only half completed but it was still unstable at best. He stared at the tree for a long time before decinding it was best just to pretend it never happened. as Seth began to walk away a bird fluttered and landed on the tree, it disappeared with a starteled chirp and a odd sucking sound. Seth turned and cringed. "This is gonna be real bad if someone figures out where it goes." Seth looked back at the tree and decided it would be best to find someone who could help. He immediatly set off towards the school shouting for at the top of his lungs.

"Seth, what do you mean I am going to be mad?" Olov said chasing after Seth. He was worried about what Seth must have done to actually apologize for something. He wondered where everyone went after that somewhat odd yell. Then again he also had appeared to have been standing here for several hours so he guessed it wasn't all that odd.

Seth looked at Olov, "First things first.... I'm really reallly reallllllly sorry." Seth smiled saddly, "I don't know why I carved it.... but...well... I kind of made an incomplete portal to the shadow realm. I know you are probally quite angry with me." Seth seemed actually sorry for what he had done. "I think it only works if you touch the tree anyways. As long as you don't touch it you're fine." seth laughed somewhat hopelessly, "I really screwed up didn't I?"

"...Yeah, where is it and how do we destroy it?" Olov asked as he hears the trees talking about a deer suddenly disappearing. "Also can anything come back out? Why the heck did you make one of those things anyways?" Olov asked as he looked around trying to figure out the trees confusing messages. "I hope you didn't put it anyplace that is important or a place filled with animals." He wondered why he had zoned out for that long.

"you aren't goning to try to kill me?! YAy" Seth seemed overjoyed at the fact that Olov wasn't as mad as he thought he would be. "well its on a tree... About ten feet back that way. AndOf course things can come back out.... It first needs an large supply of life to work. That's why whatever touches it is sucked in never to be seen again. Once the life fills it up it will be a perfectly normal 2 way portal to and from....well.... um.. My home" Seth laughed nervously, "Its not reall that bad of a place. Just a little dark and spooky, and its a crypt. Overall a nice place to be raised," Seth smiled, "I don't think we can break it... Well at least not by normal means. We need to over flow it to break it." Seth sighed, "To overflow it we need someone who is completely opposite of me to die. And I seriously dobut that you'd want to kill someone. There might be other ways to break them but I haven't heard of any."

Lucion watched the conversation between Josef and Mira with some interest.

"I am Lucion Satalin by the way." he said smiling and indicating Anastasia next to him he said,"And this is the lovely Anastasia....I do not have the pleasure of knowing her last name yet. And you are?"

He thought that introductions where in order here and it was polite that he introduced himself.

Esperanza was quite amazed at the whole of this place...already, she'd seen people with cat ears, people with strange eyes--far more varied individuals than she'd seen in Spain.

However, she somehow managed to miss the half-Jinn.

"Oh, I'm sorry!" She uttered after bumping into him, pulling back.

Esperanza took it, and answered "Esperanza Torres...they say I'm part Seraph...but..." she didn't quite know how to phrase it, but she'd never done much extraordinary. The idea that she was one of the seraphim was still strange to her.

But she was curious about Ali. "Is being a Djinn just like it is in the legends about them? I've read a few things..."

Any other person would have interpreted that as a rhetorical answer.

For Esperanza, though, this was where her angel half showed.

"Can you possess people, then?" She asked.. "Or do you not really do that?"

Ali smiled at her, imagining a rose in her hand. Soon, it was there.

Esperanza let out a little "Oh!" of surprise upon the rose's formation.

"...you certainly have your talents, though..." she answered, blushing a little.

"I don't do very much, myself, but I'd love to hear about you." She added. "...so your mother was the Jinn then? What was she like?"

"I never REALLY met her. She became the Blue Djinn of Babylon when I was about two." Ali said, sighing, "But before she became above good and evil, Dad said she was a wonderfully kind woman, who only used her magic to help others."

Ali smiled as she blushed, "You are quite lovely, if you don't mind me saying."
You can call me Aster. Yes, I did revive this nation... Again...

Olov finally figured out where the tree with the sigil was. He ran towards it before tripping into the portal. He thought for sure his soul was going to be sucked up before waking up to find him in a crypt of some sort. Oddly there appeared to be a lot of animals walking around and Olov wondered why so many would touch a tree in so little amount of time. He also heard an odd noise and wondered what it was, it sounded almost like whispers or something else.

Seth followed Olov to make sure he wouldn't do anything too stupid and gasped when he saw him fall into the portal. Seth smiled and walked up to the portal, "Lucky little centaur.... The portal was active." Seth laughed to himself, It had been a little while since he was back in his "natural habitat." Seth shrugged and pushed his way into the portal. He smiled "Home sweet home, it's just like as I remebered it, well except for the animals. At least I get a few free snacks. Not that they would have lasted long anyways." Seth laughed and began to loook for Olov. The whisphers carried on the windseemed to be welcoming him back home, the truth however was that those whisphers were terrified of the being that had condemed them to this place. Seth smiled and called for Olov, "Hey, Olov! Come out, come out wherever you are."

"That would be easier if you weren't standing on my back." Olov said slightly annoyed but slightly glad that Seth didn't appear inside of him. "So this seems like an odd place. What are the whispers here from?" Olov asked now kind of surprised that Seth hadn't tried to ride him during the entire time that he had known him. "Why the heck did you make a portal to here anyways?" Olov said slightly claustrophobic from not being used to being in a place so closed in.

Seth hopped of Olov, laughing " Sorry bout that. This my friend is the afterlife." Seth waved his hand a the shadowy sky and the large crypt. "And this is my personal home. The Shadowed One gave it to me as a gift. Something about being a good apprentice and all that." Seth smiled and stuck his hand in the ash gray dirt. "Isn't this place just teeming with energy?" Seth smiled as he heard Olov's question about the whisphers. "Oh those are the people whos' shadows I have eaten. The Crypt will get bigger and better the more shadows I eat, mostly because it is made out of their souls, so try not to scratch it." Seth laughed happily and led the way to the door. "Come in, Come in! I'm pretty sure there is some food in stock somewhere." Seth walked in and came back carrying strange pale oranges. He promptly swallowed one, and tossed another to Olov, "They are alot better than they look. Trust me." Seth smiled as he considered how nice it was to finally be home.

"Where did these come from?" Olov asked mildly worried as he couldn't see anyway trees could survive in here. He was also worried about what was going to happen to all these animals. "I am curious if you eat someone's shadow after they are dead do they still end up here?" Olov looking around at Seth's house and kind of weirded out by some of it's creepiness. He also wondered what it looked like before Seth ate all those shadows at the school.
