Mira growls ferrally, fading into manic laughter, "You fail to realize friend....when I said that I was mostly blind...do you really think that a child shape shifter received proper medical care? It was a long time before I realized that I was for the most part blind. I'm used to being in the dark. And it won't end well for either of us. I have no doubt that I'll be hurt but I'll be the one walking away from it." Mira evaporates into a cloud of steam.

Seth grins and carves a sigil, he quickly pricks his finger and spreads his blood over it. Seth shakes his head and sits on the branch and begins to wonder how di he get up there and what was Mira talking about. "Hmmm well it appears she's mad at me. Why? Was it something I said? and why can't I remeber?" Seth shrugs, "Maybe this is just for practice' he then notices the sigil that he drew while he wasn't in control. "Oh shit, oh shit, oh shit. guys I think i just made a really big mistake...."

Mira notices that the voice of Seth is now more substantial, and sounds paniced. Unsure as to whether this is a trap or whether Seth has snapped out of his issues, Mira still remains out of sight.

Seth call from his pearch, "Olov you are gonna be real mad when you see what I just did. But I promise I didn't mean it... I din't even know..." Seth sounded paniced for the first time. He dropped from the tree and scrambled away from it. "I think i'm gonna be in some real deep crap right about now. Whatever you do don't touch that tree..."

Through all of this, Jinny had remained completely silent and rigid, unmoving on her giant mushroom and not speaking a word to protest against the violence or to participate in the conversation. Her eyes were glassy, as if she was staring at some far away place in a far away time. She didn't even move when Seth announced that there was going to be some serious shit going on soon.

Mira's mind gently faded into wakefulness, and as she observed Seth's panic she recalled the situation that she was in. As such she allowed herself to shift into her human form, her natural fox ears and tail moving back and forth suspiciously. Normally Seth wasn't exactly the voice of reason, and as such she didn't make a habit of following his advice, but due to his tone and the simplicity of his request she decided that this once she could make an exception and keep back from his tree-of-terror. She crossed her arms and glared at Seth's now relatively normal looking silhouette against the morning fog as she waited expectantly for an explanation. A quiet burst of consciousness had flared up a good ways behind her where before there had been none, but since it didn't seem to be fully awake, whatever/ whoever it was, and since she had more pressing matters to attend to, she paid it little mind for the time being. There would be plenty of time for new faces when she took care of Seth's latest escapade, after he woke up that is. Whether it was the brightest idea or not, she silently began to search around for some breakfast, realizing that she hadn't eaten much yesterday. She would fix Seth's issues after she filled her stomach.

Mira looked up, curious as to who this yet another new arrival could be. Students just seemed to be popping out of the woodworks....no matter, at least now she had an excuse to walk back to the school.
"Hey...you're a student here, right? Or at least that's the goal? Do you know where the school is?"

Mira's eyes widened, a small smile beginning to form on her face, revealing her slightly larger-than-average canines. Mira walked slowly up to this new boy, fixated only on the owl. Speaking softly to the owl, "Hi there, buddy...how are you? I'm Mira...are you hungry?" With obvious effort Mira straightens up and looks to Franacta "Yes, I know where it's at, follow me, I'll show you. We can go get some breakfast. Maybe they'll have waffles. I freakin love waffles. The chocolate chip kind, in particular." Mira begins to walk slowly towards the school, waiting for Franacta to follow "so what's your name?"

"Oh um sorry about not introducing myself my name is Franacta and this here is my buddy Astrum."

Mira's face turns red, blushing under Franacta's scrutiny, ears lying flatter against her skull in embarrassment, "I'm Mira, and I like your owl...owls are so cute. They're one of my favorite forms to take..." Mira trails off, made nervous by the intense attention, as she's used to leading more of a behind-the-scenes lifestyle.

Mira's face turned a few shades lighter now that she was no longer being stared at so intently, and suddenly yawns sleepily, her small, delicately pointed teeth glinting slightly in the rising sunlight.
"I was out here with a few acquaintances and we ended up in a bit of a scuffle. Well, an almost-scuffle. No hits were actually thrown, but before it got too dark to see and everyone went to sleep one of the guys was saying something about being in deep shit, so today things are probably going to be interesting. They'll probably head back when they wake up. They haven't eaten much lately either."

Mira appears to take the owl talking in complete stride, not even turning around to acknowledge the supposed oddity. "They'll probably let you keep him. I haven't met anyone else with a pet, but I know that a few students are living outside of campus so if they said no then you could just follow suit. They can't tell you that you can't have an owl if you aren't in their jurisdiction. And as for waffles, they are freakin amazing."

Mira seemed not to notice that he found it odd for her to not be shocked by Astrum's voice. "I'm a shape shifter. Part of one, anyhow. The being a half-blood thing only seems to affect my ability to be human though...I can't stay %100 human for more than about half an hour. And it's more comfortable for me to carry parts of my animal transformations through into my human form. Hence my ears and tail..." They approached the school through the trees as Mira's stomach gave off a strange hungry rumble. Mira smiled apologetically, "Sorry...I'm starved. Let's get something to eat." Mira walked confidently towards the gray side doors, pushing it open and walking inside. She then took a few seconds to get her bearings, as she had never actually been inside the building before.

"um are you looking for the cafeteria if so its this way, i moved in last night but i took a stroll around campus"

Mira's smiles, amused. "I suppose that finding the cafeteria first is always the best game plan." Mira follows Franacta to the cafeteria. "I have two duffel bags. They're both in the woods still. I was told that my room number was posted on the door to the office, and once I get that I'll drop my bags in my room. That's me being moved in."

The tip of Mira's tail twitches back and forth, implying that she is thinking. After a moment's debate, she walks through the open door and heads towards a tree, reaches it and begins to climb to just over halfway up. Mira fades out of view from the ground, and two black duffel bags crash through the branches onto the ground. Mira jumps from the highest branch, catching herself twice to slow her fall before landing on the ground with a solid sounding thud. She then drags the bags to sit just inside the doors and again begins to walk towards the cafeteria buffet, expecting Franacta to be ready to eat as well. "You can help me find the office and my room if you like. As for moving in, I keep most of my stuff in the bags at all times. Habitually, as I usually don't stay in one place for too long then it doesn't pay to continually pack and unpack my things. I was told that I have a room mate though. Have you found your room yet?"

Mira's face turns to a thoughtful expression, watching Franacta pick up his breakfast with interest. Mira picks up a plate and three frozen waffles, moving to stand in front of the toaster. "That would be cool if we ended up room mates, yah." Mira drops the waffles in the toaster then looks at Franacta, tilting her head to the side and smiling reassuringly at him. "Sure thing, just let me go find some..." Mira turns around looking, only to find that she was right next to a refrigerator. She opens the fridge and pulls out syrup and milk, setting them both on the table along with her waffles. Mira pours the milk into Franacta's bowl. "Why would that be messy, if you don't mind my asking?" Mira subtly picks up a torn piece of waffle, motioning slightly to Astrum.

picks up a spoon as it slowly grows ice around it
Franacta puts the spoon into the cereal as it turns into a slush with frosted flakes.

"I can see why you wouldn't want to pour it yourself then" Mira feeds the waffle to Astrum quietly as she lures him slowly onto her shoulder, waffle piece by waffle piece. "I'm not much of a cereal person. The closest to eating cereal that I get is dry cereal in a bag or a cereal bar" Mira laughs softly as she finishes her sentence, picking up her fork and putting a bit of syrupy chocolate chip waffle into her mouth, chewing thoughtfully.

Tony, watching Seth carve sigils into the tree, and then saying that they were dangerous, immediately did what any sane person would do when the insane boy made of shadow who killed random people said something was dangerous: He slowly backed away, and went back to the school, and, noticing that the moon was starting to rise, went back to his room. He hadn't actually been in it yet, since he brought nothing with him. However, upon entering the room, he noticed that there were two beds. He was curious as to why, but what caught his attention even more was the fact that there was a bag on top of his bed, which had all the necessities, (toothbrush, etc.), and the dresser next to his bed had several changes of clothes. All his size. He found this to be very strange, but he decided to just rest on his new bed, which was quite soft.
