Well....I got a few tips.
Run constantly, eat a lot protein.

At least before the ANG, that's how I did it. Then again shit changes.

I'm pretty comfortable with my current status, actually. I have no ambitions to join the military as it stands; I was mostly just looking into it out of curiosity.

Try to hold a trace of what it was back then

Ah, well that's entirely your decision. You need to make your choice and stick with it. Once you get on the bus or set foot in that boot camp; your ass is theirs. They will destroy you, mentally and near physically even. But you have to push through it, keep what's left of your head above the shit that they throw at you and you will survive.

Then again each branch has standards.

Since I completed a Level 2 English (equiv GCSE A-C grade) course with LearnDirect I can realistically go for a few more things, ironically I scored for every single trade on the Airman's Selection Test.

If I do go for the RAF I'm looking at the Supplier Trade first with my second choice(s) being Mover and MT Driver.

Course being a Supplier means I'll be part of the Tactical Supply Wing, the modern day version of the RAF's own wartime Commando units.
