And even if so, what exactly are you proposing? I can't very well kick out every single inactive person in the current op and replace them. At this point, if that happens, the whole thing's shot.

Exactly, and I'm glad of that. It's appreciated, believe me. I know how hard it can be to be active with school/work/whatever in the equation (I'm struggling with that myself), so don't think I don't notice the people who still are active.

I guess we'll just keep plugging away in the meantime.

BTW, if anyone wants to make custom camouflage for their planes, here's the RGB values for the official RAF paint colors. I've got a few more links with stuff on insignia, squadron histories, and stuff like that, so if you're interested I can put them up.

I can give it a shot. If there's some significant plot development by tomorrow afternoon I'll definitely try to post something, but if we're still just climbing the Eiffel Tower I may hold off for a day or two and work on moving the mission along.

OK guys, here's the deal:

I posted the latest plot-move-along post about 25 hours ago. Since then, there has been a grand total of one other IC post. If this is the level of activity on a weekend, I shudder to think what the future weekdays will be like. I'm not angry at anyone, I understand how busy we can be, especially now that school's a factor. I'm just a little weirded out by how many people have gone utterly and completely silent.

So then, I'm going to say this: I'd like to get this op done in the next week or so. This is variable, of course. If that's not possible - really, if enough people just aren't going to show up - then I may have to put this thing on indefinite hold and get going with a different project. Maybe the 'Nam thing, maybe something over in II. I have several ideas planned out.

I really don't want to do that, though, because I get the feeling that if this thing ever stops, it'll be damn near impossible to get going again. And we've still got 5 years of adventure ahead of us. We wouldn't have even gotten through one if we stop here.

So, people who signed up but were waiting for the op to finish/get to a certain point to introduce themselves: bear with us, and I'm sorry for all the delay. Hopefully, we'll get through it.

And people who have signed up and are in the squadron (with the exception of Altito and Cali/Tilt, both of whom have explained what they're up to to me), let's get some motherfracking POSTING in (although the aforementioned 3 should also get posting too, because more posting can only help, not hurt)!

I suppose it's up to you, but if the Vietnam RP is sort of a spiritual successor to this one wouldn't it be better to finish this RP first?

Yeah, if you want, the role of Tom is assigned to you. Just keep track of what Tilt posted and what's going on in the operation, and you should be fine. If you want, you can even consult Tilt's character app to get what Tom's all about.

If you create an account and go to edit page, you can see how the tropes are set up in terms of links and stuff. It's not very intuitive, but then again, I'm not too good at it. I think most of the links are just the name of the trope run together, for instance:
BrickJoke - immediately creates a link to the Brick Joke trope page.
