Nat: Night's always in some bizarre state somewhere between "intoxicated enough to kill a hair metal lead singer" and "annoying Mormon missionary sober".
Swith: It's because you're so awesome. God himself refreshes the screen before he types just to see if Nightkill has written anything while he was off somewhere else.

NS Name: Norvenia
Character Name: Gabriel Thomas
Age: 33
Personality: Gabriel is a study in contradictions. He is possessed of a deep religious faith in God, but his view of the world is grim indeed, and he tends to assume the worst in people. He realizes that the greater part of morality is choosing the lesser evil, yet struggles to hold himself to his own impossibly high standards of moral conduct. He is in many ways a quixotic figure, struggling to live with dignity and honor in spite of his own inner demons, trying to play the game by his own rules rather than according to the standards of others. Yet he clearly sees and understands the minds of others, and is able to play upon their beliefs and opinions with tremendous subtlety and eloquence. He battles with fits of nigh-uncontrollable violent anger but is utterly dedicated to the maintenance of his unflinching and complete self-control. He can go from the sweet assurance of perfect faith to the agony of doubt in minutes. He is a soldier and a priest, and the two do not coexist happily.
Weakness/Flaws: Gabriel is morally uncompromising - understanding that sometimes one has to commit a lesser evil for a greater good, he nevertheless tends to draw lines in the sand beyond which he will not go. He is not averse to judging others, often based on insufficient evidence and his own prejudices. For these reasons he tends to seem cold and puritanical, and this often hinders him in establishing close relationships.
Far more importantly, Gabriel suffers from fits of nigh-uncontrollable rage, which have been present his whole life but which became much worse after his time in Iraq. These fits can be brought on by the most trivial of things, but are tremendously intense - to the point of homicidal fury. Gabriel's own self-control and religious faith, developed over a lifetime of experience, are generally sufficient to hold back these fits - but behind that psychological dam is a roiling sea of violence, whose periodic attempts to break out plague Gabriel with some regularity.
Powers:
Detect Evil: Like the D&D spell. Some can seem muddy in alignment, making it difficult to tell. However, Gabriel can detect evil in most creatures now.
Lay on Hands: Like the D&D spell. Gabriel can heal wounds by touch. The greater the wound, the longer the touch. Same goes for diseases.
Divine Charm: Gabriel can use his honesty and faith to be more persuasive.
Ward Vampires: Using his Faith, Gabriel can, provided he has a holy symbol of his faith, ward off an undead creature from coming more than twenty feet closer to him. He can choose who to ward off, but the stronger the creature or greater the numbers, the more difficult it will be.
Daylight: Create a sphere that will cause 60-ft. radius of bright daylight.
Super Strength: Lift up to 300 lbs
History: Born in Massachusetts to middle-class parents. From an early age, he was noted for his remarkable leadership ability, which was founded on an intuitive mastery of oratory and rhetoric. He also began to suffer from the violent rage that would plague him his entire life, and began to develop the skills and discipline he needed to keep it in check.
At fourteen, Gabriel underwent an intense conversion experience, after which he became deeply religious. He moved between a variety of Protestant churches, unaccompanied by his largely secular parents, before settling on the Episcopal Church. By the time he graduated high school, he had resolved to become an Episcopal priest.
Gabriel excelled in his studies and ended up becoming a noted youth leader in the community, again due to his potent oratorical ability. He was admitted to Princeton University, where he majored in philosophy, still intending to pursue a career in the priesthood.
Shortly before Gabriel's graduation, however, a shocking rape and murder rocked the Princeton community. The victim was Gabriel's longtime girlfriend, to whom he had proposed the night before. Bewildered, his faith deeply shaken, Gabriel no longer felt able to pursue a career in the clergy and, in recognition of his own inner violence, turned instead to the military.
Gabriel enrolled in the Marine Corps Officer Candidate School. Accepted and commissioned as a second lieutenant, he was soon deployed to Iraq. In a point-blank firefight in "Sadr City," Baghdad, Gabriel - for the first and, thus far, the last time - lost control of his rage. When he regained his self-possession, Gabriel found that he had killed ten insurgents in less than a minute with a cold precision that his fellow marines described as "horrifying." The military hierarchy disagreed, and awarded Gabriel the Silver Star. Shortly afterward, he was quietly given an honorable discharge. He still has no direct memory of the events in Sadr City, but he has been told by another Marine present that not all of those he killed were armed insurgents - a story never corroborated by the commission investigating the events.
In the next few months, Gabriel slowly found a way back to his faith. Never as certain as it had been before, it nevertheless gave him a lifeline. His view of the world remained grim, especially since his struggle with his own violence has become meaningfully more difficult since the events in Baghdad. Yet in this grim world, his faith in God seemed a lifeline, a ray of light that made life worth living. Gradually, his sense of vocation returned, and he attended Union Theological Seminary and was ordained as an Episcopal priest upon his graduation.
Japer, California, is his first parish. And we all know what happened then.
Appearance: 6 foot 2, 185 pounds. Lightly tanned skin, close-cropped charcoal hair, intense blue eyes. Minor facial scarring from his time in the Marines. His face is all hard planes and angles, a little too harsh to be handsome, but not objectionable by any means.
Weapons: .45 Colt 1911 - his privately purchased sidearm from his days in the Marines. A combat knife. The magic revolver he was given in Act One. And the HK417 he got from Mark's PMCs, also in Act One. He also keeps a shotgun at home in Jasper.
RP Sample: This.

Character Name: Enya O'Ferguson
Age:26
Personality: A nice girl all around, Enya is quite a friendly individual, with a somewhat optmistic outlook on life, disease notwithstanding. She managed to come to terms with her syndrome and try and live with it, even if she is occasionally worried that her eventual boots of vomiting could compromise her career or social relationships. Enya has a strong artistic sense, and she manages to churn out plenty of interesting photo albums, mostly depicting sceneries, nature or peculiar people. She once tried to do some self nudes, but she'll never show them since "the photos didn't look good".
Weakness/Flaws: Her aftermentioned vomit problems, which are usually triggered by disgusting sights and/or stressful situations (Enya is quite queasy). Her bones are more likely to get fractured, due to long-term use of Omeprazole. She also has a slight risk of becoming addicted to adrenalin.
She is not exceptionally strong gutted or brave. While not to craven levels, she usually tries to avoid confrontations or facing particularly fearful things. Somewhat shy, she has some difficulties in breaking ice with strangers, and is constantly worried of vomiting in front of friends or loved ones. Enya is also a bit prudish, and may try to unsuccesfully say that she looks 'sickly' and 'not much attractive', amongst other blatant lies.
She is chilly and has an aversion to cold, but atleast it doesn't make her vomit.
Powers: Blank
History: Currently a student at Some Californian University/artistic photographer, the most particular things regarding the laid-back Enya were her parentage, and a particular disease that had affected her since childhood.
Her father was a Northern Irish journalist that was at time spending his days in San Francisco to do journalistic things regarding Ireland and Caifornia. He chance met with an Italo-American secretary and puff, love at first view.
After getting married (in a civil union, not the Roman Catholic marriage) the two went back to the man's ancestral home: Beautiful Belfast.
Soon, their first daughter was born, called Enya (her father liked too much the singer of the same name). However, since childhood, Enya showed symptoms of a quite strange condition: a prolonged version of the Mallory-Weiss syndrome. The girl's stomach seemed to mysteriously form tears in itself without external factors like over-eating or alcholism. Even after treatments via endoscopy, the tears seemed to recreate themselves a few days after, only to disappear again for a couple of days and then return. The doctors, baffled, weren't able to do much.
The condition causes Enya to vomit a quantity of blood whenever she vomits, which happens everytime she sees something particularly disgusting (blood doesn't count anymore, due to being used to it. She also seems to get a stimulation when in a particularly stressful/tense situation (she vomited countless times during the High School finals). Due to the low quantities of blood that she sometimes vomits, she has to take Omeprazole pills to lower the likenessness of vomiting, or even some shots of Adrenalin, in case of slightly higher blood-loss.
Now grown up, Enya is quite used to her unusual illness, to the point of becoming desensitized to the sight of blood. Well, her own, atleast. She decided to move back to the US to continue her studies (Art Major in Photography) , precisely, in San Francisco, only to get a better house in San Diego a few days later, avoiding all the shit that the Player Characters had created in San Fran.
Her life went as usual, up until she casually heard of a specialist doctor that could have something to cure her illness, living in the Californian mining town of Jasper. Deciding to head there to see if she could have finally done something for her condition, Enya also plans to get some nice photographs of a mining town.
Appearance: Primary Clothing:With the stockings being thigh-high.
Secondary Clothing:Sexy Sweater Time (Never Going To Happen)
Weapons: The flash of her camera (it's a quite strong one, especially if aimed at the eyes), a pepper spray that she keeps in her bag, and said bag.

This is what we know:
Mr. G is an all-powerful deity of unknown origin who regularly harasses the supernatural community. He also likes to capture mortals and force them to perform quests, or participate in his "stories". Mr. G came down to the town of Jasper, California and made everyone but a select few of it's inhabitants disappear. He sent the remaining group, the "party", to Las Vegas to visit Nicholas Cage look alike vampire crime boss, Nicholas Carry. Carry gave the group a quest: To go to San Francisco and find Carry's prized possession, an artifact called the Coiled Viper. So, the group headed out. There, they encountered three tribes of vampires: The pot-smoking Anvari, the blood-sucking Amara Havana, and the hive-mind Calacas. Hailey, having been converted into a Havana, sided with them. Vernon was recruited by the Calacas to help them defeat the Havana and find the Viper. The group also made friends with an Indian Anvari named Sachin, who is basically Nightkill. The party got attacked by an owl demon named the Strix when searching for the Viper in Chinatown, and Damien was turned into a Strix. Later, the group got attacked by a spider-monster, which stole their compass. The compass would lead them to the Viper, and without it, they were fucked. They also met Fluffy Hitler Lucifer the First, a baby dragon who befriended Fred. They found the spider, but a Calacas killed it and stole the compass. Thus, Vernon got the group captured by the Calacas and thrown in prison. There, they staged a prison escape, and Vernon stole the compass and a book from the Calacas. They escaped, Vernon killed himself trying to get turned into a were-snake and everyone got hoagies. Vernon came back to life, and they talked to Sachin over said hoagies.
Meanwhile, Damien used his new owl powers to build up an army of owls and were-hawks, promptly forming an alliance with Hailey and the Havana to take over the city. Then, Damien betrayed her and tried to kill of the Havana. Coupled with the Calacas being pissed at Vernon and the Anvari just trying to keep things from going to hell, war seemed eminent.
Luckily for the group, they got teleported to Alcatraz before that happened. There, they met a dragon, the creature who stole the Viper to keep itself alive. The dragon was dying, and the Viper, which could increase supernatural powers exponentially, was prolonging it's life. They got trapped in an illusionary version of Jasper, which Gabriel was able to escape with his awesome. Gabriel then convinced the dragon that a life reliant on the Viper to keep yourself alive, not even well, was not a life worth living. So, the dragon gave them the Viper and died peacefully. Yay! Damien also touched the Viper and it caused him to have a mental breakdown. Not yay! Unfortunately for the party, actually succeeding in their quest pissed Mr. G off and he killed Fred in blind rage. Fluffy Hitler Lucifer the First fused with Fred, saving his life, regrowing his long-lost left arm, and giving him super-dragon powers.
END OF ARC 1
Arc 2 picked up with everyone on a plane back to Vegas, where they would give Carry the Viper. They do so, but can't get back to Jasper because all planes have been delayed. Then, the group went off to do their own things and met a whole bunch of people:
1.) Gabriel, Damien, and Vernon went off to a hotel to spend the night (Gabriel took Damien to make sure he didn't kill himself and Vernon went because he didn't trust either one of them), where they were visited by a gargoyle who Vernon named "Lucy" (long story). Lucy was a representative of the Sons of Judas, who we now know are a crazy Catholic fundamentalist group who want to resurrect the dragon species for (insert vague reason we do not yet know here). The Calacas are also allies of theirs.
2.) Most of the others met the Librarian, a gargoyle working with the Anvari to stop the Sons. The Librarian explained the following things:"You see, it all starts with dragons. Dragons are old, old creatures. Older than mankind, certainly. Millions of years old. At first, there were animals, Dark Ones, and dragons. Possibly Gods and angels and such, depending on your religion, but I don't get into theology much, though we know demons exist. Then, as far as we can tell, the Dark Ones and the dragons fought." he said.
"The Dark Ones were banished outside the Universe to Outside, or perhaps another Universe. It's theorized a Multiverse exists, the leader of the Sons of Judas claims to come from another one. But the energy they released mutated several creatures, creating werewolves, vampires, and the rest." The Librarian explained. "I work for the Anvari in researching these things. I collect books on the subject."The Librarian looked at Fred specifically now. "Their leader is a man who refers to himself as Archangel. As for the Alcatraz dragon...the Calacas, allies of the Sons, started to awaken the dragon so they could take over San Francisco, and then the world. However, they needed more energy, as the dragon existed in a weakened form. That's why you're alive right now, actually. If the dragon had been at full power, you'd all be dead. Instead, it existed as a pathetic ghost, halfway between life and death." The Librarian paused to allow it to sink in. "The Calacas and the Sons needed more power. Therefore, they stole the Coiled Viper from Nicholas Carry, risking his wrath. Then Mr. G intervened and gave you all a quest, as I am informed. As you went to San Francisco, the Calacas lost the Viper to the individual creature known as the Strix, who cared nothing for dragons and used it for it's own crazy needs. Then you're aware of what occurred in San Francisco, I am sure. You severely hurt the Calacas and set them in an all out war against the Anvari in San Francisco- our friend Sachin, who is coming here, is quite furious with that- and you also destroyed the plot of the Sons. But they're planning something else. I have no solid ideas, but I can guess."
He is also the owner of the book Vernon stole from the Calacas, and Vernon has returned it to him. It seems important.
3.) After a bunch of wacky hi-jinks, Damien ended up with you and some humans from an organization that fight the supernatural. They are currently working with the Anvari and the Librarian to fight the Sons.
Everyone is now either at the Librarian's house or in a limousine with the supernatural-fighting humans. You are in the limo, or you should be, at least.
