I forget sometimes that it's only been about a week for Vernon.

He's really changed a lot. It's completely unrealistic, if you look at it from the perspective of his time.

Of course, Vernon is media-aware enough to view it as a year.

Well, it was really less a comment on the speed of the rp (which I don't mind) and more a comment on how unrealistic the speed of some of the character development has been.

Oh, Christ. Everyone knows the Anvari. Do I have to? Fine.

They're the "good guys" of the vampire world. Not only do they not satiate their hunger with innocent blood, they actively fight against those who do. Not that you would know this from seeing them - they're hardly the warrior type. No, they're more like a bunch of lazy stoners, because that's exactly what they are. Long ago, the Anvari were a part of the main vampire tribe (as all the vampires evolved from one original tribe, of which the Havana are the closest approximation), but many came to feel pity for the creatures they destroyed. These vampires eventually learned to supplant their blood-lust with other addictions, and left the tribe to become the Anvari.

The Anvari are not nearly as strong as the Calacas, nor as good at hypnosis as the Havana. However, they are, by far, the swiftest of vampire tribes, with some capable of moving at such great speed that they seem to be teleporting. The Anvari also have a unique position amongst humans - due to years of interbreeding with ordinary humans (the Havana never had the patience, and the Calacas are fucking ugly), the oh-so-fickle gene that allow for magical use has entered their species. Few Anvari wizards actually exist, but most do have the potential for it.

As an Anvari, Richard will be able to run about 15 MPH and lift two times his own body-weight, but will be forced to consume addictive materials almost constantly. If he goes twelve hours without something to tide him over, he will be overcome with an uncontrollable thirst for human blood.

Ranbo, pick one of these powers.

• Awe - This power allows a supernatural degree of charm; people affected by the power fawn over the are fascinated by the user. They won’t take actions that will result in harm to them, but they will be polite and deferential. Awe can be used against more than one person, but the power of this ability is weakened when you do so. Anyone can shake off the effects of Awe for a post by using high willpower, but you can try again after two posts. The Anvari's Awe is usually weaker than that of the Havana, but this is all dependent on the amount of drugs in their system. Yes, doing more drugs make you more likeable and influential in this RP. Great message for the kids, yeah?

• Halahala - Allows you to choose to turn your blood into a deadly poison, which may be smeared on weapons to increase their effectiveness.

• Premonition - Allows you to sense danger several seconds beforehand. Plagiarized Spider-Sense, not going to lie.
