You will find -15 cold if it had been summer, but in the winter time, I know what you mean. But just saying that you don't find -15 not cold is a little wrong. It depends on what time of the year it is, your ability to dress correctly and the change in temperatures.
But the group should not have a big problem with cold, since they just came from Michigan, and what I know of U.S Geo, is that Michigan is waaay colder than Tennessee xD
Khel, -15oC is -15oC. Doesn't matter if it's during the summertime, or not. 'Sides, I often walk around in -15oC in jeans and a shirt. No coat, no woolly socks, no gloves or hats. Look at LA's "cold snap" this last winter. 55oF is about 12-13oC. That's shorts and T-shirt weather for me, and people were bundling up like they were in for a foot of snow!
