Oh, our group had radios? That would of been a very excellent thing to take along for a recon mission. Ah well, so it is.

@Kelshar

Thomas (if he's with everyone else) already is upstairs and the windows there do not open. They're just...there basically.

@Prospect Landings

There's only two wooded areas with a view of the hangar. One is literally just a few yards to the side of the building (and it's a VERY steep drop into a little swamp of sorts) and the other would give you a view of the hangar from sort of a slanted angle, on the other side of the little road that becomes Airport Road.

Basically it looks kinda' like this

The only people downstairs should be on guard duty. It's warmer and safer upstairs anyway. Tennessee nights get pretty cold in winter.

The conference room is a part of the hangar. There's a section of the building that actually houses aircraft and the rest of it is mostly bathrooms, break rooms and conference rooms.

Below freezing anyway. And most of the characters are just sleeping on the floor in their clothes so they'll be getting pretty cold (and that's assuming they all have on good, winter clothing, if not they could be at risk for hypothermia)

EVERYWHERE gets cold in the middle of night, in winter, without any artificial heat source.

We get what your point, and you are right, we should think about the nature in the story.

Thomas is wearing a sweater, a thick jacket which, a pair of badly damaged civilian military pants, and SWAT boots. He also has a pair of Spider-man socks, heart-underwear and Frost Resist :P

"Cold" is relative. I don't find -15oC to be "cold". Someone from Florida might find -15oC to be abhorrently freezing.

And John is wearing a long-sleeve shirt made of a thermal-warming material (think old-school thermal underwear), a T-shirt under that, and an Under Armour shirt under that. Jeans and Under Armour leggings. Also, welder sleeves over top of his shirt, a toque, and a pair of Cutters gloves.

Scott is wearing a MARPAT field Jacket, Pullover, T shirt, thermal underwear (top and bottom), MARPAT pants, insulated leather gloves, and winter combat boots.

Monroe is wearing pretty much the same thing, but substitute the field jacket with a military-grade fleece jacket.

Gabrielle is in a sweatshirt, T-shirt, windbreaker, thermal underwear, and cargo pants. She might be a bit cold (?), but she probably won't consider it too much of a hardship until she gets a cold.

You will find -15 cold if it had been summer, but in the winter time, I know what you mean. But just saying that you don't find -15 not cold is a little wrong. It depends on what time of the year it is, your ability to dress correctly and the change in temperatures.
But the group should not have a big problem with cold, since they just came from Michigan, and what I know of U.S Geo, is that Michigan is waaay colder than Tennessee xD
