I'm sorry, but I think Bieber crosses out Canadians' previous gains- but then again Neil Young adds a point, so you still have one :p

Listen to this song. We get a point for every band they mention by name, plus two for Metric and Hot Hot Heat.

That totals up to... 58 I think. :p

In case anyone is wondering, Stryker's group have taken up Hampton Crossroads Baptist Church which isn't all that far from the airport.

Some graffiti here, some dead zombie guts there. We'll really spruce up the place.

I'm currently reading over the IC thread, harrowing stuff indeed. I have a few questions, however. Just to ensure that I'll be accurately up to date: How many of Stryker's men were killed during the altercation, and how many still remain?

Just Billy the Kid (heh, Billy was about 16), and that was before the shooting started. Stryker was willing to overlook that in the hopes of avoiding an altercation between the two groups, believing that him and Shelton were now "even". Everyone escaped from the shooting, and Stryker's people didn't actually fire back at Shelton's men at all because they were simply retreating.

Stryker killed Kyle in a fit of madness during the raid in which the group got the Humvees, that was hours prior to meeting Shelton. He didn't even remember doing that until he spoke with Shelton.

There are 12 people in Stryker's group total including: Stryker, Esmore, Jess, Grimm, and Lyle. That makes 7 blank characters remaining. Most if not all of Stryker's people come from shady backgrounds and know how to fight.

Which makes one wonder just HOW MANY people/groups they've killed off prior to the events of this RP.

The Church of Stryker takes everyone in, no matter their pasts. :P

Maybe I should write some flashback posts every now and then.

Actually I was wondering how many people the Church of Stryker has killed since its formation. It's pretty clear they don't farm or anything like that and it's been said they're "raiders". So therefore they have to have killed numerous innocent people prior to the roleplay.

Like I've said before I'm trying to show that the Church of Stryker is not the group of "raiders" people have come to know them by, but are simply another survivor group that has no problem with raiding. We could have raided to get most of our supplies or we could have scavenged, but my point is that the Church of Stryker is simply a group of survivors trying to survive.

Well them "trying to survive" involves murdering innocent people without provocation. A pet peeve of mine is when people use characters or groups that are raiders yet very obviously skim over how they regularly kill innocent men, women and children to make them seem more appealing to the reader/viewer/player. If you're gonna' be a raiding group, own up to it and be badass about it. If not, then don't. You can't just rob someone, assume they won't fight back, then (assuming they don't) throw them into the wilderness with nothing and expect them to not get eaten by Walkers or starve to death. You either regularly kill other human beings or you don't raid at all.

Please don't think I'm picking on you or anything. It's just that vanilla-y explanations of barbaric actions by characters gets on my nerves and IMO, it has no place in any remotely respectable work of fiction.

A) I never said that my group regularly kills people and if I did then I apologize for misleading the readers. The raid on Shelton's fireteam might have simply been a special occurrence that only occasionally happens when Stryker's madness overwhelms him.

B) I object to the idea that a group has to be either good or bad. My group can raid when seen fit and scavenge when seen fit. I never specified which people we would 'raid', maybe it's only people that we think deserve it or would overcome it.

C) My group has only just been introduced to the RP. And although they've certainly made a first impression, they haven't had time to develop a clear character or MO.

D) I object to your use of the word 'innocent'. In the Walking Dead almost no one is 'innocent', except for children of course.

E) I have only shown one barbaric action perpetrated by Stryker's group and that was the raid on Shelton's fireteam, which, like I said in 'A', could have been a special occurrence only rarely happens when Stryker's madness overwhelms him.

I think 'E' might be a repetition of 'A' but I thought it should be said. No, I don't think you're picking on me. I try not to get pissed about criticism, of which I respect yours and will take into consideration.

We could absolve the matter by saying the raid on the militamen occurred, even if only partially, because Stryker was pressured by the rest of his group. Certainly the more unscrupulous elements of the band wouldn't share Stryker's survivor mentality so fully.

Kenny and Shelton are sort-of arguing about the situation. Allison, Ashley and Zoe are chatting. Everyone else is interrogating Luke, some Russian dude, who showed up during the horde.
