Who am I complimenting? Virenna asked a question, and I gave him an answer. You see, this is another reason why I quit the RP (for a grand total of 30 minutes or so). You always seem to jump on me and turn everything that I say into some sort of clue that I am a racist or offensive person. Whenever I post something in the IC, you're always there to jump on me and disprove everything, and then you call me a godmodder. What's your problem with me?

It's a manner of speaking Cylarn. A way of showing you that calling someone (or a group of people) a "dandy" isn't nice. It isn't even neutral. It's downright offensive. There are ways to express your opinion without being offensive, and I would prefer if you put a bit of effort in and exercise those ways. If you have anything else you want to say, then TG me.

Camicon, I totally get what you're saying. In general, we shouldn't make offensive, generalizing statements like that- it's common sense. But I think Cylarn was kidding, and all of us understood that, and it's important that everyone's able to joke around and poke fun every once and a while. I mean I think we all have tough skin and won't get offended at the slightest implication.

For instance, I'm from New York City. If someone asked about New York, I'd probably joke around saying "Yeah we're all pretty much selfish assholes," and both the other person and I know that I'm obviously joking- not all 8 million people in New York are selfish assholes. It only becomes a big deal if you decide to make it a big deal. In my neighborhood our sense of humor is literally going back and forth bantering and taking shots at each other. No one gets offended; it goes unsaid that we're all just kidding around.

Now if Cylarn was being offensive about race or religion, something related to someone's core, I could see people getting offended at being generalized. But being called vain? I don't think anyone's bursting into tears over that

In conclusion, I don't think the people of Savannah are now writing a petition to take our RP down right now because Cylarn made a joke about the place.

Okay, I am now proposing that the next time Sentinel gets on he changes the title of this thread so that it says OPEN instead of CLOSED. I don't really like closed RPs, nor does it seemed closed to begin with (with the recent introduction of Moriala's character). I believe that some new characters might help with the RP's apparent stagnation.

Plus, there are still like 8 spots in Stryker's group filled with blank characters that I haven't given a name or description. Anyone that wants to could become one of these blank characters in Stryker's group.

So, unless anyone has any objections I'm going to TG this to Sentinel.
