I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack! Did you miss me? No of course not (bastards) but anyway....

Encampment was SOOO AWESOME! Seriously, it was SO FRICKING FUN! Oh, and (prepare for a lil shameless bragging) guess who got the Commandant's Award? THIS GUY! Apparently I somehow screwed up less and scored higher than everyone else (it didn't hurt that some of my competitors brought contraband with them)

lol, my Squadron Commander was freaking giddy. Members of her squadron got

Honor Flight
Honor Cadet
Most Improved Cadet
Most Outstanding Cadet NCO
and
Won the Ultra-Disc (safe ripoff of Ultimate Frisbee) championship! There were group hugs for EEEEVERYONE! (except our competitors, who we pelted with water balloons)

Oh yeah, I also got to shoot a Cadet Colonel in the face with a Super Soaker... several times. It felt gooood.

I thought that The Walking Dead game would be the best "OMGTHEFEELS!" game for a very long time (at least until Season 2 is out, if it's executed properly). But The Last Of Us? Ho-lee fuck.

The FEELS!

I almost got as emotional in the first minute of The Last Of Us, as I did at the climax of Episode 5 in The Walking Dead!

I seriously considered switching in my xbox for a PS3 just for that game. Also, do any of you play State of Decay? It's no where near as emotional as the Walking Dead games, but it's also much more realistic. And you kind of make your own sad moments :p , when your characters die they perma-die, and when you're playing as someone and leveling them up you get attached just to see them torn in half by a horde.

I'm reading about SoD, and I like the aspect of building a survivor community.

I'm considering buying it for my PC. Just need to double-check if it can handle the game.

So. Yeah. If I disappear for a little while, it's probably just because I don't have an internet connection. For the floodwaters to reach where I live, half the damn country would have to submerge.

It's always open to new characters. Our OP just went AWOL on us. If you do make a new character though, they should be non-military.
