Being a newcomer in this one, could you tell me what's going on so I wouldn't be stumbling in the dark?

Considering you're on the Western US coast, there is not much you need to know. :/
But hold on while I make a brief summary of events.

Entellamaran-Vigarhishan-Commonwealth Formed
China unifies under one Empire.
DAVICAZE (Alliance of some European and African nations formed)
Altruistic Paladins (forgot his nation name)Becomes dominant power in Americas.
The Turkish Empire falls apart, split up by Davicaze, soon followed by Rhodarcand(Tibet), being conquered by the Commonwealth.
Zeronia hosts cultural fest.
DAVICAZE heading into Russia.
Calaria falls apart, DAVICAZE becomes DAVIZE(?)
China and Commonwealth agree to sign no-aggression pact

Was thinking the exact same thing..... 2,000 pirates just said "hey, yea we'll join your navy without putting up a fight. Sure, Why not! Sounds like a great idea!." More importantly, why would one want a large group of low life, undisciplined, possibly unorganized pirates in your navy?

That's assuming they were a small group, this a pirate fleet, and i'm estimating each ship may have 20+ Men. That 2,000 men in total, if not more. They could potentially pose a threat, as it would be difficult to detain 2,000 men, especially at sea. Even then, many of them could surely just slip out, and flee, not like they're all going to be in one spot.

You could always put them through training and reeducation, then see if they're suitable for service, like i'm going to.

Because I now know you don't read my posts, you really don't have much of a clue of where I actually have taken over. Since the benevolent me has decided make an actual list to keep track of my own conquests, I have a request for you to correct the map in several areas:

1) My conquest of Central Asia should be extented several territories to the west from its current position. I rped a post saying I sent forces to conquer the oasis towns in Central Asia/Western China in order to control the overland trade routes.

2) My own conquest of Southeast Asia is not limited to Vietnam. The area of Laos, Cambodia, southern Thailand, and West Malaysia should be mine. I rped an early post saying how many people were forced to join my empire at swordpoint, or that they joined out of fear of being taken over by the Entallamarans.

Everything else is fine until I begin my conquest of Manchuria, Japan, and the Phillipenes.
