The federal ban on illicit substances, mainly cannabis, has caused the cartels of Mexico to move north with promises of better business and les competition. The unorganised street gangs are now being subjugated by the more organised families of the Mexican mob.
In the southeast, the Cuban cartels of Florida are now having to step up theIr business and have declared war on their Mexican counterparts. All across the USA there are people killing each other, and the old world rules of the Italian mob seem to have dissipated altogether.
Both sides are not only at war with each other, but there are grabs for power between individual families, and sometimes the members within the families.
