Short Biography:

Born to a Chinese father who immigrated to Mexico in search of employment and later turned to crime amidst the 1973 economic crisis, and a Mestizo mother who originally worked in a club as a hostess, he is the eldest of four children in his family. The father became increasingly affluent after turning to the drug trade, and fell in love at first sight with his mother, whom he met at a club in 1978. He borrowed a large sum of money from various friends to redeem her and they eventually married four months later, giving birth to four children over the next eight years.

In that time, the father quickly rose to a position of prominence within the drug trade, but his stringent code of honor often led him to be increasingly disadvantaged against his unscrupulous rivals. In 1987, a group of heavily armed men assaulted the family mansion and killed the father and two of the children. The mother, Cristo, and his brother, narrowly cheated death by escaping through a sewage tunnel nearby. In the process, he became separated from them, and to this day he still does not know if they are even alive.

Thereafter, he found himself without food and water, and worse yet, without a direction. He roamed the streets, unwilling to steal food to sustain himself. Eventually, he succumbed to hunger and collapsed not far from a Buddhist temple, which took him in. He resided there for the next seven years, learning martial arts under the tutelage of the temple's venerable, a former Presidential bodyguard, and performing various chores. In 1995, when he was 18, he left the temple in search of employment. Even then, he regularly returns to the temple and makes donations.

His developed distaste for the drug cartels, a product of the circumstances surrounding his father's killing, leading him to join the Mexican Federal Police in 1995, when he was only 18. He was known for his physical finesse and even more so for his brutal efficiency. In 2001, he attempted to join an elite law enforcement unit and succeeded on his first attempt, passing through the selection process with relative ease. He rose through the ranks quickly and became a squad leader by 2008. However, in that very year, he discovered that his superior was corrupt, accepting bribes from drug cartels in exchange for information on raids. In a fit of rage, he assaulted his superior, landing him in hospital and causing him to be dishonorably discharged. His superior was never caught or charged, however.

Today, his past membership in an elite police unit (not to mention the considerable security knowledge that comes with it) and excellent skills attract many to engage his services. His personal policy has always been to 'work for the highest bidder'. In spite of that, he is rather moralistic, refusing to harm the young, elderly, and weak at all times.

He's not the boss, but he is high up in the organization, so it was easy to convince the boss to give him a longer leash, so he's gone down into the southern US, bringing a few guys with him, looking to either secure the loyalties of a few of the young upstarts or to crush them beneath the venerable boot of the Chicago Mafia.
