I stared at Dora for the longest time as I tried to think. Finally I sighed and shook my head.

Of course I'm being quite serious... and before you ask, the only reason I know any German is because of the year I spent in Frankfurt as a kid. However, that is hardly besides the point." I mumbled a thank you as she let go and sighed.

"Listen closely." I began. "It is absolutely imperative you all do NOT screw this up. Please. The last thing anyone probably wants is to have someone else hurt." I looked away silently and recovered my speech. "If there are problems, Lord Death will be furious... and that's bad news for all of us involved. So, I hope we're clear on that." I sighed and wrote in my small notepad the following:

Her grandmother had always complemented her on having very soft cheeks. She playfully swatted him in the back of the head, "Don't call a girl's face strange! Its not nice!"

Ryan grinned. "I didn't call your face strange, I called the faces that you make sometimes are strange. But, I suppose your face would be strange if you considered beauty strange. I mean, you could argue beauty is strange because it's not all that common. I'll have to research this..." He thought for a few seconds and said, "Besides, I let you call me 'pretty boy.'"

Dora was about to ask what the difference was but shrugged, she did have a problem with his slightly impulsive nature when it came to food though. "I don't know. Just because we have the money doesn't mean we have to spend it. Saving money can be a good thing you know."

She dropped the facade and laughed, waving goodbye to Angus and Ayira, "Sorry, we were heading off to buy some food."
