Aaron emerged from the ground, along with Victoria. Everyone else was in a form of room below, with a lamp in the middle. Aaron had acquired the lamp from the school, and kept it with him to light up the dark little room he traveled in in order to light it up slightly. He turned to Victoria.

"Sorry, I had to stop near this hiking trail. This was the closest place to your house we could get to without being detected. With times being what they are, I didn't want to draw unwanted attention as you were walking through your door." He said.

"Goodbye Victoria. If you need me, look up my cell phone number in the phone book." With that, Aaron simply dissapeared back into the ground.

"Alright, who's next?" He asked everyone who was still there.

"Oh, no problem..." Victoria muttered to Aaron, as she saw him burrow himself in the ground again. She began to walk in direction of her house, as millions of thoughts began to flood her mind: did her parents know what had happened at the academy? Would they still throw a party at her when she returned?
Victoria made her way through the road, the chill of the night not affecting her. While her cold-proof skin was really beneficial to have during Winter, Victoria couldn't enjoy anymore the sensation of wrapping in a warm plaid during the coldest nights.

Finally reaching the door of her house, she ringed the bell. A blonde woman much similar to Victoria opened the door, her eyes widening and her precedent preoccupied expression vanishing. Victoria hugged her mother, comforting her.
It seemed that she and her father had also heard of the attack against the Academy, and that they were highly preoccupied for the life of their daughter.

Victoria rushed in her home, hugging her father. She hadn't seen him in four years, and she had talked to him and her mother only via e-mails. The family, now again re-united, proceeded to celebrate the return of their daughter, managing to scroll away some of Victoria's sadness of leaving her schoolmates.

Tyson muttered something in Gaelic, then shook his head. "I can take someone, can't do major cities very well, they get fussy about 'private airspace' and try and shoot me down, funny really."

Aaron nodded.

"Sure. Chicago it is. Then I'll drop off Margaret."

They started heading towards Chicago, and, surprisingly, there were very few people near Michael's house. Aaron could transport Michael pretty much directly to his house.

"I'll see you around Michael. If you need my help, just find my phone number in the phone book, and I'll help."

He then burrowed back into the ground, and faced Margaret.

"So, where to? You never did tell me where you lived."

Margaret watched as Aaron transported the graduated students to their home, one by one, until it was finally her turn. When Aaron turned to her to ask her where she lived, Margaret nodded and gave him her address, then simply waited for him to take her home. She was feeling rather nervous. She hadn't been home in four whole years, she hadn't seen her brother or her parents, having only talked to them through calls or messages. Now, she would go back and see them for the first time in a while. She just hoped nothing bad had happened to them. The extremists proved that they were more than willing to do anything to rid the world of evolved humans, after all.

Aaron nodded when he was told the address, but he realized that he would have to drop her off near her house instead of right next to it. The reason for this being that there were quite a few walkers and runners around, along with the fact that some neighbors seemed to be just hanging around outside their houses. The next closest place was about 100 meters away, and was in a park, which was, thankfully, empty. He brought himself and Margaret up to the surface, and he looked at her.

"I guess this is goodbye. Just...Call me if you need me, okay?" He asked, a sad look in his eyes.

He turned around, and started to walk away to another place, since a pair of joggers were coming through the park, and would spot him before he would be able to completely burrow into the ground.

Margaret waited patiently until Aaron made them both emerge on a park she recognized perfectly, that was about 100 metres from her house. Once they had emerged from the ground, even though she was sure that Aaron had made sure that there was no people nearby, she looked around to confirm it, more out of instinct than out of doubt.

When Aaron spoke, Margaret nodded. "I will. I promise..." She said, looking at the ground instead of at him.

When he turned around, she did so as well. However, she turned around once again and ran towards him instead, hugging him when she got close enough. "Don't forget me, okay?" She said. After that, she turned and walked away, heading towards her home, where she would find a not at all welcoming scene.

Aaron froze when Margaret hugged him. When she spoke, he turned around.

"I won't. You don't have to ever worry about that." He said, disappearing into the ground.

He burrowed his way home, keeping the events of the day in his mind. When he reached home, he found that there was no one nearby for miles. He was worried by this, but he considered the possibility that there was some kind of huge event going on. However, when Aaron reached his house and was above ground, he looked at his house, and saw that it was in ruins. He sprinted inside, hoping to find at least one family member inside. However, to his despair, all he found none, only a note that read:

"You never should have killed those people."

Aaron got down on his hands and knees, and started crying. He had never killed. In the fight, he was extremely careful not to kill anyone. His power, because of how dangerous it was, was assumed to be the killer of most of the people who had died, and his family was blamed for it, and payed the ultimate price. He was furious. However, rather than show his anger, he looked around again. He found the phone book wide open, which was strange, considering the fact that the rest of the house was completely destroyed. Through tears, Aaron looked at the pages that were open, and found his name on one of them. He was crossed out, and a note was pinned on the same page.

"How does it feel like to not exist?" It asked.

Suddenly, Aaron realized just how far these people had gone. They had killed his family, destroyed his house, and erased him from all records, so that it was as if he had never existed. In shock, Aaron stood up slowly, and walked out the door. He stood there for a few seconds, took a deep breath, and burrowed back into the ground.

He eventually reemerged in the middle of a large forest, right next to a hill. He raised the earth around him, and fixed it into the rough shape of a house. He then fished into his pocket, and pulled out a wad of cash, the final gift from his parents. He traveled to a wilderness supplies store, and grabbed a sleeping bag, as well as a pillow. He didn't even bother to make sure that no one was watching, and dissapeared into the ground right outside of the store. He emerged inside his house, placed the sleeping bag and pillow on the ground, summoned his lamp, and sat for a while before finally drifting off into sleep. When he awoke, he transported himself to a convenience store to buy a newspaper, hoping to see some news of what was going on in the world. Unfortunately, he did, and dropped the paper immediately. The headlines said: 'Extremist group declares war on evolved humans'. He thought for a few seconds, and decided to transport himself to all of his friends houses, but which one should he visit first? He thought for a few moments, and decided to go to Margaret's house first. While Aaron hated choosing between his friends, Margaret was his first friend at the school, and was by far his closest. He arrived at the same place that he had departed from, and started running towards Margaret's house.

Inside his house everything was oddly still. Its not like he was expecting a party, but Micheal couldn't help but worry he couldn't hear anyone inside the house. He wandered into the kitchen, hoping to fnd his parents sitting around the table, with a newspaper like they normally would be. He walked to the fridge noticinga sheet of paper stuck to it, a note' He read it, sighing, dissapointed, his parents had fled to Canada to stay with family there and all they could do was leave a note. He felt like punching a wall, he was furious, not with his parents but with the situation they faced. Mike couldn't help but wonder if the others all found their parents whenthey got back home. He didn't have the energy to worry, he crawled into bed and slept, determined tomorrow he would sort this mess out for himself.

At Nick's house everything was business as normal, with the guards patrolling the grounds and the butler serving drinks, and of course, his nanny nagging him. Once he'd finished his hot chocolate Nick went up to bed, preparing for a good nights' sleep.

However, a newsflash awoke him at midnight when his TV switched on - as it was programmed to do so if there was something relevant on the news.

"EXTREMIST RACISTS DECLARE WAR ON ALL EVOLVED HUMANS" ran the headlines over and over again as there was political and economic commentary on what this meant. In the meantime, he could hear the murmur of his butler, Butler, as he spoke to the Captain of the Guards and Nick could have sworn he heard him say something about 'additional security' and 'stepping up the number of guards'.

He wondered whatever would happen to the others... if they managed to arrive here, though, he would certainly provide a safe haven.

After having partied with her parents, Victoria partially enjoyed sleeping again in her old bed.
Partially, because, in the middle of the night, she noticed that a bracelet she had wore during the party in the school was missing.
Thinking that he had lost it on the hiking trail, she exited her house, careful not to be heard by her parents. She wasn't much afraid, due to her powers and her mastery over them, but the dark, nightly surroundings still were somewhat eerie. After retrieveing the bracelet, Victoria made her way back to her house, happy to go into a nice and comfy beed in a few minutes.

She didn't.
Victoria stood in front her house, now reduced to a charred ruin. She rushed in, trying to find her parents, but she didn't. In their place, there was a note with the same contents of Aaron's one. Looking in fear at what was written on the paper sheet, Victoria still remembered what to do in case of an emergency. She found her mobile phone, fortunately still intact, and phoned a specific number.
Aaron's.

Hood's walk was not in vain. Stopping by a newstand on the outskirts of town he read of the extremists' declaration of war. It seemed almost remote from his world, yet he could feel the pull of the gravity of the new situation. It beckoned him, and for the first time he thought of others rather than his own world - he thought of his acquaintances, and what they made of it.

The situation was real alright. He could remember new things now. He hadn't killed his real parents after all. Elation filled him but then a deeper sadness consumed him. He looked up at the darkening sky, full of rumbling grey clouds as rain fell. People dived for cover but Hood stood there, gazing at the sky. He didn't even bother to deflect the rain.

The sadness was much more than what he had experienced before. He hadn't killed his parents yet he grieved for them, but then a new feeling came. As hooded figures slowly surrounded Hood in the rain, the sadness that gripped him turned into something much more potent. Anger.

Margaret continued walking towards her home, saddened both by the events at the school, which only demonstrated that the world had begun to hate them for something they weren't guilty of, for something they were born with, for something they didn't have a choice in, and by the fact that it was unlikely she would see any of her classmates again. She would definitely miss them, specially Aaron.

These thoughts would do nothing to help lessen the impact of what Margaret was about to witness.

As she reached home, she noticed that there was not a sound. The door was open. Tentatively, Margaret walked in, only to see blood stains on the floor. She immediately froze. Was someone in her house? What happened there?

From the corner of her eye, she noticed a figure sitting on the dinning room, and several shapes lying on the ground. She made herself invisible to the figure's senses and then walked into the dinning room, carefully, in order to see who was there. The shapes on the ground were, in fact, corpses, though none of them were from people she recognized. Finally, she saw who the figure was...

It was her brother.

"...T-Travis...?" She asked, making herself visible to him.

"Maggie." He responded unamusedly, as if he was in deep thought.

"What happened here...?" She asked.

"They came in, looking for you. They left a few notes and tried to set the house on fire, and that's when I came. For a bunch of terrorists they were rather weak and stupid." Travis responded.

"...Mom and dad...?" Margaret asked. In response, Travis simply shook his head, and she felt like there was a void forming inside of her, tears forming in her eyes.

"If their notes are to be believed," Travis continued. "Then the Weavers no longer exist, and never did." He said. "I'll keep this place safe for tonight. Tomorrow you leave. Go with others like you." He added.

"And you?" Margaret asked.

"I might have hated them, but you didn't, and nobody messes with my little sister. You know that. They will too." He said.

Margaret then simply began silently crying for the losses she had just gone through. Eventually, she fell asleep. The next morning, she woke up rather late, and found two bundles next to her, containing her belongings, as well as a note from her brother. She read it and smiled sadly, before changing from her dress to a new set of clothes and heading out of her house. She pulled out her cellphone and found Aaron's number. However, before she dialed the number, he appeared on the distance. She ran towards him.

Aaron was, at the time that Victoria called him, in a deep sleep, thus unable to actually come to his cellphone. He had no clue that he had even been contacted, and was completely oblivious to what Victoria had just gone through.

However, when Margaret ran towards him, he immediately knew that something was wrong. He continued to walk towards her, having a good idea of what had just happened. He hugged her, and tried to calm her down. He hoped that she would be strong about what had happened, but it would be more difficult for them to move on from having so much to having so little.

Margaret continued running towards Aaron until they met, though she was not really expecting Aaron to just hug her out of the blue. She figured he had gone through something similar, and simply returned the hug, not really crying anymore. She had shed all the tears she had to shed the previous night.

"Hello Aaron..." She said, with a voice that betrayed the hopelessness behind. But her voice took a slightly happier tone at her next sentence. "I'm glad to see that you're okay." She said, and smiled slightly, before breaking free from his embrace. "Did... Did something happen to you yesterday, too...?" She asked.

Aaron fought back tears.

"Yeah...My family's gone...Probably dead. My house was destroyed, I've been wiped from all official documents that used to have my name on them, and I'm blamed for killing people that I never killed. All in all, I don't think much else could happen that could make anything worse." he said.

Little did he know, that a group of specialized killers were sneaking up on his position, as well as the position of several of his classmates. They were aiming specifically for the graduated students, and had been training for quite some time just to take them down. A group appeared outside each of the houses. However, there was some confusion in the groups that had headed to Aaron's house, as well as the group who went to Margaret's house, since they did not know that Aaron had moved. Aaron quickly sensed many men approaching their position, and, before any of the killers could do anything, he burrowed himself and Margaret underground.

"There are people up above. I don't think it's safe here. If you want, I made a little shack out of earth in the wilderness. I can take you there if that's what you'd prefer." He said, still slightly shaken.

Margaret listened to what Aaron said had happened to him, and realized that he had gone through even worse than her. Sure, she too had lost her family and had been basically erased from legal existence and whatnot, but at least she knew that her brother was still alive. Aaron, on the other hand, had lost all of his family, and even his house had been destroyed, not to mention he'd been targetted even though he had taken care not to kill extremists back at the School for Evolved Humans.

Feeling sad for him, she hugged him again, trying to comfort him this time. He had gone through so much, and she was probably not helping with her mood and all.

However, suddenly, Aaron pulled them both under the ground. She was surprised, but it all amd sense to her when he explained it. She should have known that the racist extremists wouldn't just leave them alone after taking everything, they wanted them dead, too.

"...Yes, that sounds good." She said to his suggestion.

Suddenly, her phone was jerked out of her hand, and thrown into the woods. Soon after, a few pencils and other objects flew towards he same direction.

"You all left, without even trying to help me." came a voice from the woods, "I was confused, one word would have kept me from ruining my life."

A kitchen knife flew towards Victoria's head.

"I thought you of all people would at least try an keep me sane." the voice said.

Other things began telekinetically floating flying towards Victoria as a figure emerged from the woods. It was clear that the man had on a leather jacket. As he stepped into the moonlight, his identity was revealed. Although he had a scar across his face, it was still easy to recognize him as Gale Austins.

Tyson rose into the air and flew at top speed towards Ireland, the wind rushing past his face and through his wings. He landed just out side Dublin, walking towards his house. That was when he noticed something was wrong. Several armed men were kicking down the door and storming the building, killing everyone inside. Tyson growled and snapped his fingers, causing fire to ignite all the way up us arms. He threw a fireball at the back of one of the men's heads, then sprang forward and snapped another's neck. The two other men turned around and opened fire, but Tyson simply sent a wave of fire of intense heat which melted the bullets. He grabbed one of the two and nutted him, then threw the other man into the wall. He stepped over their lifeless bodies and observed the carnage inside the house, everything was riddled with bullet holes, the walls, the furniture, the people, everything. Tyson screamed and flew out of the window, flying over the Atlantic Ocean, towards America. He had a feeling that he wasn't the only one who had been targeted.

Aaron's.

"Uh?! Who the hell you are?!" Victoria yelled at the man, forming two sharp icycles in her hands. That man. He was very similar to Gale, but she had never seen him with a scar like that.
"Tell me why are you trying to kill me with kitchen instruments, you bugger!"

Aaron nodded at Margaret's reply, and transported them to his small shack in the wilderness. It was still there, and after looking at it again, Aaron doubted that it would ever be found. It was in the middle of the wilderness, surrounded by a giant forest of trees. The house from above would simply look like a slight hill, giving it camouflage from any planes that might pass by.

"Here we are. It's not much, but I can always build more rooms." Aaron said.

He looked at his one sleeping bag and frowned.

"I'll go get you a bed." Aaron told her, as he dissapeared, and reappeared outside of the outdoor supplies store.

While he was there, the clerk seemed to be frightened by Aaron's presence. He acted as if he expected Aaron to pull out a gun at any moment. When Aaron finished paying for the sleeping bag and pillow, the man relaxed, and handed Aaron the receipt. Aaron walked out, not feeling very confident with the low amount of money that he had left. He reappeared back at his house, right next to Margaret.

"Sorry it's not much, but I can't afford anything a full-blown bed at the moment." He explained, passing her the sleeping bag and pillow.

He raised a room that was past the wall of the first, and made a tunnel that connected the two.

"You can choose which room you want to sleep in, but I figured that you might want some privacy." He said.

"When I was left on the island without a second thought," Gale began, "I fought and fought hard. Finally, though, I realized that the extremists were right. We are dangerous, and in the end, we will only cause more harm than good."

Gale's facial expression was stuck in an eternal glare, the scar visible and actually exaggerated in the light. His eyes locked with Victoria's.
You can call me Aster. Yes, I did revive this nation... Again...

If you aren't hurting anyone, putting anyone in danger, or infringing on the rights of others, it isn't the governments business what you do.
