Mughal india has fallen to Japan as europe must unite to regain its lost strength. In african several empires merged with the zulu and modernized forcing their way into algeria. In mecca the sultanate of the old ottomans struggles to return to power as the balkans led by the greece unites against them. In South America the inca were never fully taken over and therefore continue to thrive. Mexico is led by the spanish descendents who struggle to enact reforms in order to satisfy the peasants and lower classes. The russia kievs and orthodox power struggles against the mongols golden horde while the vikings descendants take an interest in expanding. In poland, eastern europe, and parts of prussia the teutonic knights having not been defeated those centuries ago have carved out a personal kingdom. In america the cherokee and iriqouis thrive as an indepent federation. The spanish of texas and french of louisiana have combined their territorial remnants into an aristocratic republic. The Chinese remnants have begun a guerilla war against their japanese lords. The french of quebec, the hudson company, and the british subjects in ontario have united forming a league of canadian nations in defense against japan. Spain itself has collapsed into aragon and castille as it was already fragile with the muslims in grenada having never pulled out. France has entered a civil war against several dukes who have carved a large part of france into a burgundian state. The papal states control all of italy after agreeing to form a kingly federation with naples being the political capital. German remnants have unified against the teutonic knights. In britain the republican regime still exist having never been overthrown. Mughal india has quashed several rebellions and still reigns in splendor. The aborigines of australia have reporting seeing fleets of ships and men building settlements all across the coastal areas.
