So, Germany has a population of over 100,546,000 at this time? It's current population is about 80 million. Even with added territories with their historical populations along with Germany, it holds no candle to America's population.

Germany at this time? 67,580,000. The American workforce alone totaled 40 million at this point.

Is it's railroad mileage over 230,468.32 mi, which was America's length in 1916?

Here is another source for the American Economy in WW1: http://eh.net/encyclopedia/article/rockoff.wwi

I kinda feel bad for impeding progress on the new IC, but I tend to enjoy fighting for my arguments' legitimacy rather than rolling over and accepting it.

To be fair, I do believe I posted about a population boom.

I see, well, I edited my post to show the German Population in 1916, and a population boom takes some time to show full results.

With all added German territories and holdings, discounting losses to the War, I would expect a population of about 70-80 million. While true that Germany will undoubted have the greatest Railroad mileage per area, the US will have a higher total mileage as it almost always has. America at this time trumps anyone else regarding railroads.

What makes you think at this point the IC U.S. is like the RL U.S. of 1916?
It's pretty much less advanced that the 1916's U.S., yes.

But here we're talking about USED total mileage, not total mileage of railroads because that figure is quite pointless.

India has even more railroads, but they don't use them effectively. See the point?

Next time you try to insult me, atleast attempt to create a coherent sentence.

I can assure if I was playing a nation game where Da Vinci still alive, I would be developing his technologies or atleast researching them. Fuckin' progress breeds success, and you are a fool if you want to ignore a brilliant mind when it's dangling right in front of you.

See, I don't want to have this game simply develop technology ahead of it's time, I want to envision entirely new possibilities and how they would affect this timeline.

One thing Neros. At no point he insulted you. In fact, you're the one insulting him now. Our criticism (almost all of us) is that you're developing way too fast altering the reality of our timeline. Yes, new possibilities, that sounds AWESOME... But we're all playing on an even field in which, that technology cannot be done that fast.

And it is "at least", not atleast.

Are you implying that the US does not use his railroads at all? You really just said

total mileage of railroads ... is quite pointless

I'm certain American citizens and goods are moving nicely through the US on the railroads without the RPing of America, because that would make the game so meticulous that it would be absurd. Where did this argument of "Used" Railroads even come from? Sure, more German people will be inclined to use the railroads since it is of smaller size and has a large railway network, and since America is quite large compared to Germany.

I offered way back to extend to project time, but that was seemingly skipped for the sake of continued argument.

Grammatically, it should be at least. Terribly sorry for missing the space bar.

Also, did you even read (much less understand) his statement? He was implying that Da Vinci thought of tanks but couldn't build them, drawing a parallel to Tesla and this entire argument. I took offense to it, it seemed rather hostile to me.

Eusk, please don't be a grammar Nazi.

And while it did read somewhat hostilely, I'm sure he didn't mean anything by the Da Vinci comparison.

Actually I think it was a rather informal argument in which he pointed out that Da Vinci, (also a great inventor), had the same problem as Tesla. But I don't think he meant it on a hostile way.

And the grammar correction was just a way to cool things down... Neros was about to start to fight with Gross Prussia for a misunderstanding. :p

EDIT:

Actually those lines seem a bit more hostile than what Gross Prussia said, imo.

EDIT: And Neros, it's no problem. It's actually good we all care about this RP to argue like this. However, I think we could all stand to kick that down a notch. ;)

Dude, Why would I try to insult you? After all Its a game, I wont insult you for something that happened in the RPG, I may discuss, but never insult.
But in one hand you say its unrealistic that Germany had a bigger economy than U.S.A but you say its realistic to have "Bear Soldiers" in 1916. And by the way, Fighting bears is a technology developed ahead of its time (Of course Wotjek was used just as support but after all he was given a military rank).
"Wotjek" the bear that go to war: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wojtek_(soldier_bear)
