Agreed... It would present better tactics... Thinking on that, say, could Brazil maybe send some soldiers to China to aid me? India is probably going to conscript a huge civilian army, which is were I could use my Gas, But I'd need more firearms, and ammunition... Interesting, Also,

I notice he's making a railway from Burma to Pakistan... But I'm in Burma, which presents a problem..

No. If I have to wait until the 20s to get rockets, you guys will have to wait way longer.

Well, these things worked back then, the only reason they weren't fully developed was due to money constraints as no one really liked Tesla due to avid propaganda against him by Thomas Edison. We fixed this problem by giving him avid space, money, and resources to develop things of scientific significance, which may or may not have applicable uses in Warfare.

He may have some theories on rocketry. Would be interesting, no?

Well if you get all this weather machine shit, then I think I deserve my long range rockets. I've been researching them for like 3 years straight now, since the beginning of the RP. I can haz long range rockets?

Well Russia needs it because it has one of its only warm water ports in the black sea. the reason the war was fought in the first place was because Russia wanted one more near Serbia. That region is also primarily Slavic, which is the primary ethnicity of Russia, so ceding territories like that would be like ceding parts of the Russian mainland.

Realistically, the Russian Empire would continue fighting until all of the Ukraine, Moldavia, and Serbia is liberated. The only reason why that didn’t happen in the real world was b/c of Lenin and the commies, but Germany never sent him, so all the commies go to the gulags in Siberia. Russia wholly mobilized is very strong and AH does not have the resources to take on it one on one. But it did take a beating in the beginning and I do not wish to spend more resources or time on the western front.

And so we both must make concessions if we are to end this thing. I will not cede any more Slavic regions, that is the bottom line. Everything else is negotiable

Well, you do know rocketry right now (in the timeline) is theorized well enough that you could produce realistic results. The reason rocketry itself was delayed until WW2 was that 1. WW1 needed resources and fuel for the direct war, not theoretical technologies that *MIGHT* work. 2. Post-War Syndrome of "OH GOD, NO MORE WAR HURR", 3. Economic constraints.

Since the war is over, I would imagine that you could begin to develop more rocketry. How did you even develop short range rockets in such a short time?

These men all had various parts in developing modern rocketry.

Also, it isn't a weather machine :p It's high powered streams of electronic mercury.

Yes, I tend to be a little knowledgeable in a broad range of things. Historical Science is always a favorite. So yes, you actually could begin develop.

That Russian guy also had ideas for a multi-staged rocket as early as 1924, too.

La bene. I know a little of Goddard (still inspired by the Krauts after WW2, of course) and the Germans' V1 and V2, as well as a little Tesla, but other than that, I'm blank on that topic.

Yes, yes. Long Range Rockets are feasible at this time. The Ion Thruster was developed by Goddard in 1916-1917. His first test was in 1915, so you're good to go, as long as America is fine with letting co-operation happen between you and Goddard.

I'm not really troubled by the Chinese invasion, since he didn't specify I'm going to say he went through the Shan Mountains which I have heavily fortified. Defensive lines are present in the jungles, and militias are ready for guerrilla warfare if he somehow manages to get through them. My railway leads directly to the front lines so I can move large amounts of soldiers to the front lines to overwhelm the Chinese and replace my losses.

this has been bugging me for a while: why did Burma go with India in the independence movement? i can understand Pakistan going with India due to ethnic, cultural, and geographic ties, but Burma? Shan state has a large Chinese population and most of Burma is Buddhist. If they did go independent, it would have been as the 1948 nation of Burma, or more likly in this case, a collection of smaller nation states based on ethnic lines

Even if they existed both in prototype stage and theory at this time? Seriously, Tesla was not taken seriously until long after he was dead. If he was given the cash for his research, he would have been easily able to produce workable results.

It may not seem realistic, but it is. Tesla was a man long before his time and if given consideration when he was alive, he would have been regarded as the greatest scientific mind who ever lived. This will shift technology away from a modern time, I seriously do not want to go down a road where the only thing different is that technologies are developed a couple of years before their invention.

Economically and militarily it would be beneficial if Burma stayed with India. India has what was the British Indian Army, growing economy with the ability to hastily industrialize along with being the owner of the 4th largest railway in existence which runs through all three of the nations, India, Pakistan, and Burma. Besides, the people of Burma can represent themselves in the Indian senate which if they were apart of China they wouldn't be able to, and if Burma was free of India it would be under constant threat from imperial China with no major military force to prevent a successful invasion.
