Maurice had been watching the conversation between the 2 people for a while, his assault had been stopped because the female had proven herself human. He listened for a bit but began to become bored until the female addressed him and insulted him calling him a "Screaming codfish". Maurice didn't like to be insulted he had been made fun of for a long time by the other kids when he was younger. Maurice's fear was now turning into anger and he looked at the female with eyes that looked dead and a snarl that was like that of an animal.

"Excuse me for a moment, Lorant." Lilith could feel a sinister gaze at her back building up an intent of harm when she slowly clutched her two daggers before turning around to face Maurice, the one who yelled out irrational cries of valor that sounded more like a madman's folly, with the expression of a scorned mother chastising her children. This was a talent she inherited from Eva, the nun. "Be still child or I shall feed upon your flesh myself and save those walking corpses the trouble by giving them the scraps." Of course it was mostly a taunt but only the part about her eating his flesh.

"Well this fits the situtation." Chuckled John. Then we he reached the edge of the port city, he waited for his allies. The rain was pouring by this point and John could see the outpost not far from where they were. It was almost covered in clouds.

Celian glanced down the street. Iraklion appeared to have a sizeable quantity of undead, though a number of them had been cut down by some survivors that had passed this way previously. He saw a fortified tower, one that he sensed was occupied by living beings.
Gesturing for the five Templars under his command to follow, Celian advanced towards the bastion. Several walking corpses shambled towards him. He blurred forward; shimmering blade unsheathed in an instant. The unliving plague victims were cut to ribbons in a blur. Body parts and heads tumbled in a welter of corrupted flesh and blood. The Templar saw that there was more than one way to enter the building. I usually prefer to go the direct route, he thought, eyeing a locked door at the base of the tower.
Celian and his men headed towards the door, wary of the possible receptions they might recieve.

Communism is this. "Hurrah, free money for everyone!" *five minutes later* "Oh, we're a totalitarian, omnipresent, money-wasting morally depraved dictatorship-bureaucracy? Deal with it. Pay taxes like a good comrade."

"That it, Templar? I don't see anyone moving," asked Nikolai as he rode up next to John. "I suggest we hurry," added the mercenary as he looked at the clouds overhead.
He was tired and his body ached from being jostled around on the horse's back for so long in his heavy armor. Sometimes, he wondered why he still lived this stressful, uncomfortable life. For a moment he even wished he'd been caught up in the outbreak of whatever was causing this apocalypse so he didn't have to deal with it now, but fate had deemed it appropriate to torture him. Now he had a responsibility to simply continue fighting until he could no longer even move.

"I know you are sore, but the outpost is not very far. I bet only a 25 minutes at the most." Said John. Then he made his horse go into a gallop. "But yes, I agree with you. We will search the templar quarters for zombies and clear them out if we do and we can get a full night rest." Said John. He was eager to get excaliber out of the hands of those zombies who knows what they would do with it. Then he noticed the fog was starting to lift.

Celian turned his gaze towards the Teutonic knight who'd asked for help. A number of undead were dragging themselves toward the man. A perfunctory glance at three other Templars nearby-the two others remaining near the tower's door, and they moved towards the group of plague victims. Celian stabbed his sword down into a muddy gap between several cobblestones, and drew his crossbow in one fluid motion. He took a quarrel, aimed; and fired at the head of the nearest unliving corpse.
It punctured the left eye socket, before ripping through the skull. At the angle he'd aimed it at, Celian saw that the quarrel went down, through the brain stem. Thus severed- apart from some atrophied muscle and skin, the head fell slack, and the corpse collapsed in a sickening crunch.
The Templar then re-sheathed his crossbow, and pulled the blade out of the ground. He advanced towards the Teutonic knight, along with the three Templars that he had commanded to follow him. "It would appear; that you need some help, am I right?" He asked drily, even as he plunged past the German knight and sliced another corpse's head clean off in a spray of thickened blood and foul fluids.

Joseph said "Yes i do need some help," as he turned around and sliced off the head of one of the infected, Joseph then shield bashed another infected and cut his head off. Joseph then said to the Templar coldly "I'm surprised to see a Templar here and not in the only lands fighting a war with the suppose infidels."
