Rachael was inclined to go and smash the robot's face in, but that would probably not end up very well. She didn't want to go to jail for murder, after all... She breathed to calm down, then grinned at Chram. "Talk about defective... aren't you the robot with programming so screwed up you can't figure out how useless you really are, and how stupid you sound when trying to insult me? Oh no, sorry, I forgot, your intelligence circuit probably blew up."

Chram laughed haughtily back at Rachael, "Oh? The Mongrel pup wants to compare uselessness me? Remind me who had to be forced into using their "Memory augmentation" and ended up... how do you say it? Getting everyone wet instead? Because of your inferiority complex? Come on dirt-baby! Show me up for once. At this rate all you're going to be able to beat me in is sheer stupidity." Chram turn to sit down and grinned, "And even if my intelligence circuits have blown, at least my sisters aren't sluts." She said in a partially quiet tone.

Jay narrowed his eyes when he heard some girl being an arse, before the class even started, too. He shook his head and then turned his attention back to the teacher. His echolocation gave him some clue what happened that time, and his eyebrows went up. He then raised his hand slightly and asked,"Uhm, how much of this class is going to involve...seeing things?" kind of quietly.

Charlotte snorted in a laughing way at what Chram said, though it probably should have been insulting to her, as well.

After urging the class to keep it down, he turned to Jay and said "Right…right. The good thing is, is that this class is pretty much entirely theory, and some discussion." and he scratched his chin in contemplation, "Sadly, you might miss some of the demonstrations, but I'll be sure to tell you what happened. If you need some more help, ask me after class.

"Alright...Thanks," Jay said,"I can kind of tell what's going on with echolocation, so that's good at least," He then turned his head toward Bramwell when he explained what had happened with the sword. That was helpful, at least. Now the two girls needed to shut up, and the class wouldn't be so bad. Not that is was bad anyway.

"Alright! You two, quit bickering and do something else to entertain yourselves. If this carries into my actual class, I won't just be telling you off!" he said to Rachel and Chram, and went back to walking around the room, helping some other students.

By the time Chram had added the aside about Roxanne, Rachael was shaking with rage, and was quite glad when the teacher asked Chram not-so-politely to shut up. Rachael smiled sweetly at her, then simpered "Sorry if I upset you. I'm sure we can still be friends, K9."

Chram laughed as Axel scolded Rachael, "Oh don't worry, I'm sure you only had the best of intentions with your constructive criticisms. I said some pretty uncalled for things as well." She brushed her hair back. "I'm quite positive we'll be the best of friends."

Bramwell, Makato, and Joaquin

"I'm not that type of doctor. Please remain calm. I think the infirmary may want to run a fMRI. Can you walk there, or should we get a stretcher?" His deadpan remained clear and present, alongside his semi-guttural voice. By this point, Bramwell and Makato had managed to establish a perimeter for Joaquin before the guards had even arrived. Bramwell and Makato oddly enough had training in crowd control. The fact the two would have looked like noir private detectives if it weren't for the headphones made the scene somewhat surreal considering the Doctor that was wearing what could have been a Secret Service agent's suit under an apron that was styled to resemble the front portion of Captain America's outfit.

(Before class)
Cassie took a deep breath to calm down the stress she was feeling from having to deal with this crap. "I can walk, it's fine" She said quietly, rubbing her throbbing head. She pushed herself up into a sitting position again, very slowly and somewhat painfully. "Thanks for the help, really" She said with a smile, and she looked around at all the likely faces now looking at her. Now that she was actually aware of that, it made her uncomfortable and she visibly showed it. She really didn't like being the center of attention, so it bothered her. "I think I will go now" She added to them, and pushed herself up onto her feet, but she quickly got dizzy and had to use one of the tables to balance herself.

(Sometime during class)
Instead of going to class, Cassie went to the Infirmary to get the FMRI, because she was really getting concerned now. It wasn't a matter of just pretending it wasn't happening anymore. It was time to act, and take care of it. Well, try to anyway. She wasn't sure if there was anything she could do, and it might just keep getting worse and worse until it killed her. While in the Infirmary, she just looked around and quietly said to the first random doctor, "Uh, hi", in hopes to get their attention.

(Caitlin)
Caitlin however, actually went to class. She felt bad for the poor girl, but knew there was nothing she could really do for her right now. So she headed to class, and for the time being just sat down and listened to class, even though most of the discussions didn't involve class, and were just arguments. Which seemed rather scaringly normal here.

[AETEN II]

Both Morbus and William shot looks at each other as they passed through the door to Axel's classroom together. While Morbus wasn't hellbent on eradicating William, he did see him as a potential threat to the greater good in the future unless he started working for the CIA in the future. William saw Morbus as a hilariously insane monster that was more amoral than him, the sociopath. While he didn't think of him as another Hitler, William saw Morbus as something like Lenin.
Morbus then sat down at the front seat, his incredible height and swaying tendrils blocking the view of many- William meanwhile took a seat near CHRAM and Rachael, still keeping a wary eye on the death incarnate.

[Nakarisaune]

Rachael snarled out a vaguely civil greeting to William, then turned away. She wasn't keen on conversing right now. She was more intent on focusing on how to kill or otherwise incapacitate the robot. After a minute, she ripped the corner of her schedule off and scribbled a note on it. Mind removing the bot's power for me? She passed it over to William, hoping that this would make Chram easier to get rid of.

Sarah woke up rather early when the morning came, and spent some time toying around with the shadows before heading down to the dinning hall to eat breakfast before heading to the first class of the day. A quick check on her schedule indicated that it was the magic class, something that interested her somewhat. Going down to the dinning hall, she ate a light breakfast and then headed towards the magic class, arriving after most others had, but still early enough. She then simply sat down somewhere near the front and awaited for the class to begin.

Raymond woke up slightly late and headed down to eat breakfast shortly after waking up, not bothering to check the schedule. After walking down, having finally memorized the path to the dinning hall, he ate breakfast. Noticing that it was rather late he quickly got up and dropped his tray off where it belonged before following some of the students he knew he shared classes with, arriving at Axel's class barely on time and sitting down near the back of the classroom.

[AETEN II]

William simply laughed upon reading both notes and chucked each to their non-authors.
"I like being a puppet master, as it is indeed hilarious. Firstly my word is as countable in the wind. Secondly you're both insane to think I would ally with either of you while this catfight continues. It's much more entertaining to sell popcorn while you two beat each other senseless. So please, have at it."

Chram gave a cold laugh, "Ally? I simply don't want my friend or you to do anything stupid. Such as try and remove my power core. You'd incinerate your hands within seconds. And..." She circled her finger on the desk, slowly increasing the pressure to leave a significant dent. "I don't need your word. I need results. Which is why I continue to associate with you. That and you still owe me 5 more favors. No?"

Mina walked into class at a later point. Seeing that most people were already here though she didn't say a word and sat down. Mina set her bag down next to her which contained a spare cellphone as well; Unmoddified of course. She was still a bit tired; wishing she could go back to sleep, but there wasn't any time to complain. Mina had scheming to do and neglecting her duties surely wouldn't do very good for her reputation back home. So she got out a notebook, pen and sat there with an emotionless expression on her face.

Axel clasped his hands together and said aloud "Well, if I am not mistaken, this is everyone. Excellent, now we can begin.", grabbed his chair and sat in front of the class. "So, let's start this off. I want you guys to tell me what you think magic is. Kinda gauging preliminary knowledge here. Well, not just knowledge, but opinions as well. In fact, just tell me whatever comes to mind about magic."

[Terintania]

Axel clasped his hands together and said aloud "Well, if I am not mistaken, this is everyone. Excellent, now we can begin.", grabbed his chair and sat in front of the class. "So, let's start this off. I want you guys to tell me what you think magic is. Kinda gauging preliminary knowledge here."

Jay tilted his head slightly. He wasn't sure what he thought magic was, or if he even really believed in it completely. Believing in human souls and ghosts was one thing, but magic was another. He decided to wait for other students to answer before he did.

"Boring," Was Charlotte's response. She was basically saying that what she thought magic was, was boring.

[Altruistic Paladins]

Bramwell, Makoto, and Joaquin

"The reason we have the trope 'Linear Warriors, Quadratic Wizards'," Makoto said as she saw a portion of the floor melt.

"The reason secular law was invented," Bramwell said.

"A never ending source of arguements over who would win a fight between Gandalf and Dumbledore due to the differences in the magic systems of the two fictions." Joaquin had apparently just materialized in the room dressed like a white mage straight out of Final Fantasy with the obvious difference of his suit and sunglasses still being clearly visible. Just in case it wasn't clear before, Joaquin is a geek.

"Well for one there's only one, and well, as I stated, my word shifts with the wind. Oh and I could easily grab you by your ankles and fuse you into the floor and you couldn't do anything about it. The only shame is that I wouldn't get any money out of it and would be a waste as I could make a pretty penny of those power cores of your's. I also don't remember ever saying I would honor my word. Welcome to the underground. You have to complete tasks for me, then I might start honoring my word." William said with a chuckle.

"Oh, and magic magic is absolute bullshit. 'Magic' is simply the manipulation of reality via reality warping, but the subject is too primitive to understand how to apply it without a verbal or physical trigger. Or that's what some old books taught me." William said as he managed to quickly rib the teacher at the start of the class no less.

And you think you'd be able to get pretty penny of these hunks of oversized batteries?" She looked at him as if he were a stupid child. "You couldn't even get a dollar of these. CHRAM grade power cores are a dime a dozen. Its cute you'd think I'm worth that much work though." Chram shrugged, "It isn't like you could actually do anything I can't anyways. You humans think you have the upper hand... Just adorable."

Chram giggled at Axel's question. "Pulling rabbits out of hats. Rising up from the grave after 3 days. Healing the sick and dying by poking them. Hadokens."

Axel sighed beleagueredly. "So, Charlotte says "boring". Well, over the course of this class, I am sure your opinion will change. Matako says "Linear Warriors, Quadratic Wizards", which is not as prevalent in modern magical culture, as Lictors like myself are quite capable fighters and, for lack of a better term, Wizards. Bramwell says "the reason why secular law was invented". This I will address in due time. Joaquin says...well, that's a bit of a non sequitur. And William says that it is bullshit and primitive, and requires vocal and movement triggers. This I will also address. However, he was the closest to one focal part of magic, and that is its verbal nature. Magic requires words that are part and particle of the spell being used. But, what gives these words their power? Before I tell you, I want you to tell me. Also, if any of you still want to says something about my previous question, about what you think magic is, you can still answer it, if you wish."
Axel looked at Chram "Eh, no. I won't be summoning rabbits any time soon, and healing is quite complex to preform with a mere "poke", and resurrections are wholly out of the question."

And no, I mean by simply grabbing your feet and phasing you. After that's done, well, you're kinda screwed. Damned. Doomed. Whatever you'd prefer to call it."

"Uh, I think it was a D&D reference Makoto was making, namely to the power proportional to the respective classes character levels and how mages, despite starting disadvantaged compared to fighters and most other classes, outclass them at one point and just continue to eclipse them afterward due to their power growing at four times the rate of other classes, but I think that was just a reference made in good fun. I think Bramwell was refering to the paranoia about magic going so far that the colonial Americans created the first secular legal system and effectively made the witch hunts and such illegal, assuming the applicable degree is serving its purpose. I just wanted to throw to drop a non-sequitor reference to how different magic is percieved in terms of how it's functionality."

"Look, Charlotte, this class is designed to introduce you up to the world of magic, and its culture and myriad traditions. As the magical world is opening itself up to the common people, something that has not happened in hundreds of years, this knowledge you will receive is crucial."
