"I'm not that type of doctor. Please remain calm. I think the infirmary may want to run a fMRI. Can you walk there, or should we get a stretcher?" His deadpan remained clear and present, alongside his semi-guttural voice. By this point, Bramwell and Makoto had managed to establish a perimeter for Joaquin before the guards had even arrived. Bramwell and Makoto oddly enough had training in crowd control. The fact the two would have looked like noir private detectives if it weren't for the headphones made the scene somewhat surreal considering the Doctor that was wearing what could have been a Secret Service agent's suit under an apron that was styled to resemble the front portion of Captain America's outfit.

"I could prove it to you, but it might make you upset," He said. "I could summon a ghost of someone you knew who died. Assuming you know someone who died, that is."

Hundreds, Tyler thought, images of the accident that had happened when he got his powers surfacing in his mind. Even the tiniest fraction of a chance that Jay might actually be able to summon ghosts was too much to risk, their stares haunted him enough in his dreams even if he didn't have to face them again in life.

"No, I'm an orphan, so I've moved around a lot. No family, no friends," he said, cleverly using the real distress that he had felt a moment earlier to believably fake the proper emotional response, "but at least I never had anyone to lose. Got to look at the bright side, I suppose, can't lose what you never had." After pausing for a moment to take a sip of his juice he continued with a slightly forced smile, "besides, I'd probably just dismiss it as you using some freaky mind powers to trick me."

"Anyways," he said after clearing his throat, "any of you know what class we have after breakfast? I think it might have actually been an interesting one."

Jay tilted his head head when Tyler responded. He couldn't see people's facial expressions, but he could more easily tell the emotion in people's voices then normal people. He couldn't tell if Tyler was lying or not, but he didn't want to press it, since he figured that there was probably a reason for the lie. Specially since Tyler seemed nice. "Why don't you believe in ghosts, anyway? Just out of curiosity."

He shook his head when Tyler asked if he knew what class they had after breakfast,"I just kind of go where everyone else goes. I can't really read my schedule, after all."

When a girl in the Cafeteria let out a shout of pain, he stood up and was about to go over when his echolocation detected that two other people got there quickly. He hoped the girl was Ok, but decided it was best to stay out of the way for now.

Morbus meanwhile continued to watch Mina, tracking her movements and attempting to see if she had any other powers than what he gathered to be intelligence. Morbus was also conflicted if he should instill fear by informing her that he was formulating the best method to kill her and that he was stalking her like a cat at every turn. He also was wondering if he could get Joaquin to participate out of fear of the girl, but calculated that he would be more likely to blow it open due to his human morals.

Spetznaz Assault Teams wrote:Aaron Levi

Aaron flexed his biceps as Goltia took hold, and as she did so he suddenly relaxed them, using the extra space to slip his arm free from the lock. Goltia, already committed to the attack, continued forward. His now free arm bent, and Aaron's elbow tapped Goltia three times. Once at the base of the skull, once at the bottom of the neck, and once at the small of the back.

The Israeli stepped back.

"Not bad, you have the basics down pat. All you need to work on is speed and control. The bell for curfew rang a minute or two ago. Here"

He tossed her his towel.

"Cool down, I'll write you a pass." He turned and scribbled a note excusing Goltia's tardiness. He turned back around and handed it to her.

"Don't hesitate to call if you want some more practice, a lesson, or even just to spar."

Goltia smiled and dabbed the sweat from her forehead.
"Okay. I'll do that. Its weird... Not having my powers to help. Fun, though," she said, smiling. She then accepted the note and left the gym and headed towards the dorms.

Next morning...

Josh staggered out of his room, his hair a mess and his clothes equally untidy. Blinking sleepily, he shook the sleep from his head and made his way down the corridor towards the elevator. When he arrived there, he found Goltia, who was equally as tired and messy as he was, and Grace, who wore a rather annoyed expression and was reading something on her PDA.
"What's up?" Josh said, calling the elevator out of habit.
"Reading up on the Sapience Protocol. Bloody hell, this thing is old. Some of the comments on it are over 400 years old!" Grace replied, holding the PDA for Josh and Goltia to see.
"Geez. We had Extranet back then?" Goltia said, leaning in. Josh blinked and looked at his sister.
"What happened to you? Weren't you all mopey and shit yesterday?" he asked. Goltia looked at him.
"I'm you. You really think that I'm gonna stay like that for long?" she replied, before turning away as the elevator arrived. Josh stared for a moment, then shrugged and followed her in, taking Grace's hand as he did so.

Abigale, meanwhile, had been up and about for a good while, organizing her classes workload. Glancing quickly at the window where she had been working the night before, she saw that the other teachers had honored her request that the writing be left alone (made in the form a sticky note reading "Please don't rub this off. <3"), and smiled. She then called the elevator and brushed her clothing down. The clothing she wore had already drawn a few strange looks: she was wearing what appeared to be a stereotypical school girl outfit. Ignoring their looks, Abigale waited for the elevator, flicking through a file she held in her hands as she waited.

Daniel woke up quite tired. He passed part of the night in the Gym to prove his little new thing for the next lesson, and he was sure that the thing was impossible to defeat for every single one of his student...except....

" Yawwwww...exactly like I wanted it, I hope if I make any friend in this school it will be trustworthy like my other ones on earth. " He said, pulling on his clothes. He wasn't that hungry, but he still decided to go at the cafeteria in order to check out what was on the menu today.

Axel finished eating his food and cleared his spot before exiting the cafeteria and heading up to his classroom to make sure everything was ready for his class. He was nervous and at the same time, couldn't wait for the class to begin. He opened his door and sat at his desk, tapping his fingers in anticipation and occasionally glancing out the door, looking for anyone to show up.

OOC: MEMEME

Rachael had finished her breakfast - a plain slice of toast, who needs fancy waffles? - while sitting alone at the end of one of the tables. She liked it like that. No-one to ask her how she was as if they cared. Thankfully, no-one had approached her to annoy her, so she assumed the facade was working. Soon enough, it was time for the first lesson. Magic, had it been? She'd left the schedule in her dorm. But there was no point in going to get it. Class would start soon, and she could remember what room it was in, so she glared at a few people and strode to the room.

OOC: Chram arrived first. I said she would a page ago.

Charm kicked her feet up on the desk waiting for the rest of the idiotic biologicals to get to class so they could be chanted at by a overreacting fool who can't even hold minor amounts of Neuro-toxins without flipping out and causing a scene. She snickered as Rachael thought she arrived first apparently blind as well as completely stupid. Let's let her have this one victory then shall we? It isn't like she can beat us in anything else.

Bramwell and Makoto finished up breakfast headed to the class they were dreading by the title of it. Something about the thought that somebody would just call something "magic" seemed odd to them. The two did not think there could be such a thing as the inexplicable. They thought that boiling down something to "magic" was an insult when sufficiently advanced technologies and numerous concepts of advanced physics were able to be mistaken for magic. Either way, they were hoping the teacher was not crazy at the very least, or maybe even a scientist skilled in a new field who is just horrible at making names. They had already heard of somebody saying they could talk with dead people and magic. By this point, they were clinging to the "MST3K Mantra" to just not verbalize their questions and let science take its course and find better names for these things that traditionally were not associated with extreme paranoia caused by a severe lack of understanding or fantasy fiction.

The duo in trenchcoats and fedoras now entered the class. Makoto's clothing choices were oddly making her look adrogynous, particularly considering that she didn't look like the femme fatale and instead the cynical private detective. The anachronism of the two wearing headphones playing Yoko Kanno's "Goodnight Julia" over the sounds of a rainstorm for ambience wasn't helping the surrealism of the two. They now took their seats close to eachother as the patternistic behavior of the two would hold. The fact the two were the first heroes to arrive was not helping the oddity of the situation.

Axel sighed. He saw some students enter the room, two of whom he wished he wasn't alone with. He stood up and said to them "So, you probably know who I am, if not, I am Ansuz, your Magic for the Uninitiated teacher. Since the whole class isn't here, I won't do my whole welcome speech spiel. Anyway, the room is covered with books and other magical items. If you find something interesting, ask me about it, but please don't try to use it unless I show you how to." and leaned on the edge of the desk facing the desks.

Jay finished his food and noticed that people were leaving. Probably heading to class. He looked at Tyler,"Well, it was nice meeting you. I'm going to try to find my way to class now," He said, standing up to go. He followed a couple of the students out of the Cafeteria and to the class room. He hummed to himself as he entered the classroom, then took a seat somewhere near the back. It didn't matter if he could see anything, after all.

Now he would see how well he could pull off this whole school thing....Hopefully it didn't involve seeing to much stuff...

Charlotte had finished her food a while ago and had just sat there, eavesdropping on random conversations. Once she decided it was probably time for class, she stood up and headed out. she decided that turning into an animal right now would be a waste of time. Once she reached the class, she plopped down in a chair with a bored expression on her face.

Axel stood up and clapped twice. "Come on, people" he said, somewhat exasperated "You can't tell me that there is nothing in here that interests you. Just look around, it'll be worth your while. Trust me.", and gestured to the walls and shelves around the room.

Bramwell and Makoto

Bramwell's and Makoto's eyes were transfixed on a sword. Bramwell and Makato both liked swords, with the two prefering a colichemarde in terms of dueling swords. They hadn't noticed it when they entered, and they were interested. They wanted to know so many things.

"Mr. Ansuz, may we ask what type of sword that is?" Makoto asked with a heightened interest.

"Is there a history to that weapon?" Bramwell had kept his eyes on the sword, but this may be because he hates eye contact.

Jay twitched slightly when the teacher clapped, then ran his hand through his hair in a kind of frustrated way. "I wish," He muttered slightly when the teacher said 'just look around'. He didn't really say it in an annoyed way, though. He just continued to 'stare' at his desk.

Charlotte rested her elbow on her desk, then rested her head on her hand,"The only thing that will interest me is something that can teach me how to use MY powers better. I couldn't care less about magic crap," She said, rather rudely and in a bored tone of voice.

Noticing that only the two geeky people who were either related, in a relationship or incestuous (she suspected the last one), were standing up and looking around at the 'magical' objects, Rachael judged it safe to remain seated. She didn't believe in magic. Not any more, anyway. She had once, when she was young and read entirely too many fantasy stories. This would be a stupid lesson anyway, since Rachael was pretty sure no-one else had a magical power.

Axel was delighted that someone was finally doing something. He gingerly took the sword off the rack and brought it to Bramwell and Makato. "This is a magical sword known as a Quickblade, due to the small amount of silver and mercury smelted into the blade during its construction and enchantment process. This sword has been passed down by my mother's family for many generations." he unsheathed it, the blade emitting a crisp "shhhing!" as it was drawn. The weapon showed almost no sign of wear and use, despite its age. Holding the sword carefully, Axel continued, saying "These swords are rendered both incredibly sharp and incredibly strong because of the magic worked into the very blade. Let me show you." and he plucked a loose hair from the shoulder of Makato's coat, and held it above the blade. "Watch closely." he said, and dropped the hair. It fell from his fingers, and the moment it drifted onto the blade, it was cut in two, and the pieces floated slowly to the floor.

Rachael clapped slowly at the demonstration. "Wow, sir. Very impressive. A sword that can cut through hair! How amazing! It must be so magical." She spoke with a cold, flat tone indicating her true feelings about the sword. It was useless.

Jay just listened to what was going on, though he got lost at the end because he couldn't see what had happened. He heard the kind of douchey girl say something about it cutting through hair, and he was also wondering why that was exiting, but he hadn't seen what it had really done. He started humming to himself again, and for anyone who didn't know why he was humming, it might seem like he was either not paying any attention, or was bored.

Axel looked at Rachel. "Well then, maybe this demonstration will be better." and brought a spare desk to the front of the class. He held the sword about 2 inches above wooden tabletop of the desk and said. "I am going to simply let go of the sword. No pushing, nothing." and he did. The sword went right through the table, until it reached the guard. He pulled the blade out of the hole and sheathed it. "Now, will another demonstration sate your curiosity? On your terms, of course."

Rachael was inclined to go and smash the robot's face in, but that would probably not end up very well. She didn't want to go to jail for murder, after all... She breathed to calm down, then grinned at Chram. "Talk about defective... aren't you the robot with programming so screwed up you can't figure out how useless you really are, and how stupid you sound when trying to insult me? Oh no, sorry, I forgot, your intelligence circuit probably blew up."

Jay narrowed his eyes when he heard some girl being an arse, before the class even started, too. He shook his head and then turned his attention back to the teacher. His echolocation gave him some clue what happened that time, and his eyebrows went up. He then raised his hand slightly and asked,"Uhm, how much of this class is going to involve...seeing things?" kind of quietly.

Charlotte snorted in a laughing way at what Chram said, though it probably should have been insulting to her, as well.

Bramwell and Makoto

While Bramwell and Makoto were thinking about what type of blade to classify it as, they jointly agreed to classify it as an "Absurdly Sharp Blade" until they could classify what type of blade it was. At the very least, they knew it wasn't a rapier.

"Well, that is intimidating. Hair traditionally doesn't fall into two clean seperate pieces by the mere act of touching the bladed edge since I think we needed somebody to narrate for those that did not see it. I wonder what would happen if it were to go against something bigger and does not involve chainmail," Bramwell said.

"I've heard of dogs with a sharper tongue than that, but that would be an insult to dogs' comparable expertise at dry wit." Makoto wanted to see which statement of the two attempted snarkers people would assume she was referring to.

After urging the class to keep it down, he turned to Jay and said "Right…right. The good thing is, is that this class is pretty much entirely theory, and some discussion." and he scratched his chin in contemplation, "Sadly, you might miss some of the demonstrations, but I'll be sure to tell you what happened. If you need some more help, ask me after class.
