Cassie
Cassie shook her head lightly at all that was going on. She wasn't sure what to think of Grace and Goltia's relationship. It always seemed a little...weird. Violent, maybe? Though she had heard that some people actually liked that kind of thing in a relationship, having pain inflicted on them. It just sounded really weird to her that people would enjoy that, but who was she to judge others relationship preferences? It isn't like she even really knew what she herself wanted when it came to a relationship, after all, if anything at all.

When Grace said that she needed her help, she raised an eyebrow and slipped off of the bed, but just watched in silence when Grace didn't seem like she needed help at all. She hadn't realized what she meant about needing help, so what Grace was doing just looked like she knew perfectly well what she was doing and didn't need help with anything at first. But she quickly found out. Seeing the projection on the wall, she smiled lightly, always finding stuff like projectors to be cool.

"Um...With the Harry Potter movies, if you haven't seen any of them, watching only one would probably be weird" Cassie said. "You would watch the first one, and be begging for more. Then one movie turns into needing to watch 7" She explained to Grace. "Uh...I don't really know a lot about what movies exist...Do we want a lighthearted movie or serious movie?" She asked all three of them, looking from Golita, to Grace, to Josh. Even though there were only 3 people waiting on her for her to make a choice of what movie to watch, that seemed to be enough to make her a little bit nervous with 3 people waiting on her and watching her.

Caitlin
Caitlin moved back with him, so that she could sit next to Tyler and listen to him. She smiled at him sweetly, hoping to make him feel comfortable with telling the stories that he wanted to tell. You could tell by the way that she got comfortable, though, that she had her full attention on what Tyler was about to say, and didn't seem like she was bored at all when he started to explain the crazy shenanigans that happened at the school when he was there. It definitely sounded a little nuts. Guy throwing fireballs and a monster fighting each other in the Cafeteria, and the monster was a student? She had this distinct feeling she had missed a really, really weird student, and also had the feeling that was probably a good thing. She wanted to ask him a question but refrained from asking the question that had popped into her head, and moved onto something different

"I think we all were at one point. I like to think of myself as brave and not much of a scaredy-cat, but I get the feeling I'm not as brave as I think I am, if I got into a real scary situation" Caitlin said to Tyler. "But yeah, I think I prefer Military Academy over Madhouse any day" She laughed a bit at her joke, referring to the fact that the school was so heavily guarded these days that a student couldn't drop a pen without some guard noticing and making sure everything was okay. And as much as she could be a bit rebellious at times, or in the least, breaking the rules, she was definitely thankful for the guard presence so things didn't end up getting seriously hectic around here more so than they could already be at times. "I'm glad Cassie wasn't here when the school was like that. Could you imagine how scared she'd be? I'd wonder if she'd be any better off here than wherever it was that she was before that made her like how she is now. But I can tell this school, the way it is now, is more home to her than anywhere she's probably been before" She said, shaking her head for wandering off a little.

"How long have you been at this school? I forgot if you told me how many years you've come here. As you know, this year is my first. And I would say my years off to a better start than I could have ever anticipated that it would be" Caitlin said, giving Tyler a bright smile, clearly indicating that she was referring to him with that last part. She had expected to be this teenage girl who was very serious about her training (She is), going from class to class and trying to perfect everything that she could so she could become the bad ass vigilante that she imagined herself to be. The whole getting a boyfriend thing wasn't even on her mind as an idea when she got to this school, even though she had nothing against that idea at all. Being the super hero geek who could finally fulfill her dream in a real way was all that had been on her mind.

That was until she met Tyler, who ended up quickly becoming her friend. It all happened a bit faster than she had anticipated. She ended up talking to him quite a lot as a friend, they started to make costumes for the Halloween party, and then BAM!, they were pretty much officially boyfriend and girlfriend at the party with their unexpected kiss, and now they had been together ever since. And there wasn't a single complaint by her because if it, either, because all it did was add more to her life which was by no means a problem to her. If anything, it just made her life all the more exciting and a big life change for her up here than it already was.

Kira
"I feel as if I should let Jun answer that question, because she came to me first, and I would not feel right accepting visitors if she wanted to talk to me alone" Kira told Makoto, then looked at Jun. "So it is up to you" She told her.

Jodelle
"It would be a bit nice if the school told us what was going on, wouldn't it? Instead of making us all worry about what was going on and having no clue what to be worrying about. Hell, apparently they don't even tell their own staff" Jodelle said, referring to how it didn't even seem like Leroy knew what was going on. "Are they trying to worry us less by not telling us anything? Because it isn't really working" She said. But despite the fact she said that, she didn't seem that worried herself. Though, there was a definite concern about what was going on. "Whatever. Let's just hope it's nothing major" It seemed like Jodelle was a bit cranky, likely due to being kinda killed in class earlier. But she was kind of a cranky person in general at times, and today could just be one of those days.

As the attempts to shove open the door only bruised Taylor's arm as the only option chosen rapidly exhausted itself. Cornered, Taylor made a last ditch effort. Not one for combat, she removed her helmet, long red hair falling-out, to destroy the key panel. This failed as the lack of any noticeable damage to the panel. The revelation crept up Taylor's spine as it became evident that she was cornered. Desperation set in as Taylor engaged in a knowingly hopeless fight by trying to tackle Hansel in the ultimate effort to escape, this time by getting a guard's key-card.

"Well..." Grace looked at Josh, who shrugged and scratched his neck.
"I dunno. Something lighthearted, I guess. Been a hell of a day," he said. Grace nodded in agreement, her smile fading for a moment, before reappearing. Goltia, meanwhile, had pulled a small bouncy ball from her pocket and started bouncing it on her palm.

Markus

Markus followed Jenkins to the gym, his face calm and relaxed. Arriving and listening to Jenkins give out orders, he found himself rather impressed by his boss' calm manner.
"I'm sure I can manage," he said, checking his rifle once more.

Cassie gave a nod of her head. "Sounds good" She told them, and she then began to flip through the movies, looking through various different ones. There were a few that just by the covers alone, she knew were not very cheery movies, and wasn't something they would want to watch right now. Another movie, Trust, which she had heard about what the subject material for that movie was like, made her close her eyes for a moment and quickly flip to something else. That was definitely something she didn't want to watch, like the movie The Lovely Bones she had discarded before when pondering to watch a random movie once. Eventually she found something she thought would be suitable, which was the movie Hugo.

"I don't know much about this movie, but I think it's supposed to be fairly lighthearted. But I'm not sure...Like I said, I don't really know that many movies..." Cassie said, tapping her fingers on the bed and glancing around. "We can start whenever..." She told them, glancing at Josh and smiling faintly.

The unidentified object is getting closer as the visuals show nothing except a spot of white.

Once everyone was in place John started the ritual to open the gate. It took a fair bit of concentration but it wasn't really anything that demanded much of him, with everything in place all that was needed was a small push for the veil between worlds to open. Invisible energies flowed like water around him and at his command they plunged at the center of the large circular glyph drawn on the floor, and something shifted. The atmosphere of the room became tangibly energetic, even those unable to sense magical energies would be able to feel something to that effect. And they would definitely be able to see what was happening even if they likely did not understand it.

A small sliver of white light appeared in the air. It was far from a proper gate that anything could pass through yet and John didn't actually know exactly how long it would take for it to open fully, but even such a small opening flooded the area with more magical energy than he had ever encountered in the physical world before.

"Stay where you are!" he commanded. "It's working!"

Jenkins
Jenkins rarely found himself faced with something he did not at all comprehend, but now was such a time. Magic was simply something he had never encountered before and he had no proper frame of reference for it. It didn't frighten him but he did not like being faced with something that he did not have any knowledge of, it made his job harder.

"We can expect company soon," he told Markus, glancing at the dancing white light in the center of the room, "stay alert."

Tyler
"This is my second year," Tyler answered when Caitlin asked how long he had gone to the Academy. "So far it is much better in every way than my last," he continued, smiling at her, "especially meeting you."

After thinking for a moment he continued talking about his past at the Academy. "Though last year was rather shitty objectively speaking. I mean, they even let vampires onto the station then, lots of them. There were like three or four students in my class who were bloodsuckers, and about as many teachers I think. I never felt comfortable around any of them, you just can't tell what those monsters are thinking about, like if they are going to try to attack you or whatever." He shook his head. "Fortunately the new administration seems a lot smarter. I only saw one of those things up here this year and he always had a guard or two watching him. And he's been gone for some time now so I think they did the smart thing and shipped him off to a lab somewhere."

Hansel Dietrich, Guard of the Academy
Hansel grabbed Taylor when she tried to tackle him. She was a good foot shorter and about a hundred pounds lighter so she really didn't stand much of a chance. He quickly grabbed her arms to make sure she couldn't get at any of his equipment and tried to hold her still as gently as possible. He didn't want to hurt the poor girl after all. He'd rather not drag her all the way up the stairs because he worried that she could get hurt by that, struggling to get free as she was, so he decided to try once more to get through to her with words.

"Calm down, we're not gonna let any harm come to you, we'll get you help as soon as we can but right now it's not safe out here. Please come with me back to the dorms."

Gym

The aspects of Antonio nodded as they make sure to stay within the complicated three dimensional magic sphere. The tear begins to grow bigger as the gym starts to be filled with an excess of mana. As it grows, a large locked door appear on the tear, meaning that the mana that's being released is only a fraction of the mana plane's actual power.

At the Orbit of the Moon

The large object, visible at the sky, appears to be a strange complete nothingness as observers from the ground figure out its trajectory. It is heading towards the Academy of the Empowered. Anyone who's watching outside would see a spot of plain nothing heading closer and closer to the space station.

"Cheap words and euphemisms won't work!" Taylor yelled as an idea came to mind that left as soon as it came due to a lacking of the necessary component and not having prepared for its need. There were no options left other than resisting for pride's sake. Even so, at least the motivation of pride prevented Taylor from the usage of tactics most unsavory. The struggle was fairly short. Taylor's efforts were now token, her arms simply not able to move. Reality simply refused Taylor's request that somebody her size should be able to break the guard's arms with the same resistance as toothpicks.

Markus stared at the display, his eyes widening in shock. He had trouble processing what exactly was happen, and thus summed up his thoughts in one short sentence.
"Oh what the fuck," he said, pressing his rifle against his shoulder and clicking off the safety.

The kids

"Well, you obvious know more then us," Goltia said with a smile. She then grabbed her bouncy ball as it came down from it's last bounce and flung it at Josh. A barrier appeared immediately, deflecting the ball back at Goltia, who caught it deftly.
"Nice try," Josh said, smirking. Grace sighed, before loading up the video file and pressing play.
"Goltia, the lights," she said, hopping back onto her bed once she had adjusted the projection. Goltia nodded, before tossing her ball at the switch and smacking it into the off position. A moment later, the starting titles of the movie started.

Anyone who's watching outside would see a spot of plain nothing heading closer and closer to the space station.

John wasn't surprised to find that something that looked like a literal locked door blocked their way. He very much doubted that it was an actual locked door, more than likely that was just how minds used to living in three dimensions interpreted an object existing in several more. Magic was usually symbolic like that.

What really worried him was that he could sense the enemy getting closer and closer, it would only be a few moments before they arrived. It was rather fortunate that he had more magical energy available to him now than he had ever planned for. The obelisk was starting to siphon power from the gate already, the symbols covering it shimmering ever so slightly now, but there was more than enough left over for him. Once the enemy arrived he would be able to shield himself and all of Antonio's copies, and with the added power given by the gate there was nothing at all the enemy could do to touch them while Jenkins and the guards still defended them.

Jenkins
"I agree, that is quite perplexing," Jenkins said when Markus vocalized his confusion about what exactly was going on with the strange tear in the air. Even though he sounded as calm as ever his right hand strayed to rest on the handle of one of his pistols. It almost felt comforting to him to know that they would soon have to fight an invading force. That, at least, was something he was quite familiar with.

And he knew that it wasn't long before that would happen. The station's external defenses had detected something unidentified entering proximity of the station and started firing. He didn't expect that the weapons would be able to do much more than buy a bit of time, powerful though they were, because they were meant to fend of regular boarders in spaceships and not some sort of demons or magic. An alarm started sounding over the school's PA system a few moments later, and the massive external guns and missile pods caused barely audible reverberations in the hull as they fired.

"Not long now," he mused.

Hansel Dietrich, Guard of the Academy
Hansel realized that trying to ask the girl nicely wasn't going to work, she was far too engrossed in whatever psychosis had grabbed her mind. He would have to drag her back up the stairs.

"Alright miss, come with me, nice and easy," he said as he started slowly heading up the stairs, half dragging and half carrying Taylor along. She didn't weigh terribly much so he didn't have too much trouble with her. Then the alarms started blaring, specifically the alarm that signified that someone had entered the Academy's space uninvited. He muttered a curse in German and then redoubled his efforts to bring Taylor up the stairs, taking much less consideration to her comfort now.

"Move it!" he shouted at her.

Thomas was looking around at the assembled students when the defenses went off, feeling the reverberations shake the floor below him. He looks to some of the other students assembled, a few others also feeling uneasy. Thomas was angered: they were under attack, and the guards were keeping them in dorms when they could be running or fighting as they should be. He wasn't going to let whoever was attacking take /him/ down without a fight. He broke off ASAP, heading to his room to get to work.

He opened the door to his room and shut it immediately, getting to his workbench. He had the sonic blaster, which couldn't really hurt anyone beyond the most extreme settings stunning people. His Mk. VI armor was no where near even being a coherent idea, but he did have some shaped plates put together. He had to start getting at least something ready. He didn't have any equipment that could cause serious harm, as per his unwritten (or was it) agreement to work in his room. He was trying to put together a powered skeleton at minimum so he wouldn't be caught unarmored. He was already going into deep thought as far as what possibly could be attacking.

"No! I know that, harm's way is where, you are taking me," Taylor stated in tired breaths as she got taken-up the stairs with the strict refusal of any cooperation or concession. Her conception the scenario as the guards delivering Taylor to danger was not pleasant. The ear-splitting sound of the alarm made Taylor take on more effort to get her arms free again, the ear-splitting noise providing just the extra motivation necessary to make one more attempt as they reached level 2c--the Hero Commons.
---
"Son of a something!" Bramwell shouted when the PA system battered ears much to the discomfort of various people, losing his balance the instant the alarms PA system berated Bramwell's senses with redundant information. Sakura accidentally teleported into the Hero Commons, landing on her back in the process and winding her as to complicate the screech of the alarms. In the aural barrage, Makoto hurried to Sakura's dorm and back with pairs of earmuffs at hand.

He just let him do what he wanted and sat down on his bed, Roady's head in his lap. Until the alarms started blaring anyway. "Ah!" He gasped, placing his hand over his ears. His hearing was more sensitive then most people's ears. Roady also seemed uncomfortable with the noise, and stuck his head under the bed.

Outside of the Academy

The rockets and ammo the space station use to shoot the oncoming blackness only slowed it down. But not enough to keep it a standstill. The whole station then shook at it latch onto the side of the space station. Those on the ground can only look at the sight like it was in a microscope. The black nothingness appears like a cell engulfing food.

Those who look outside at the windows would see nothing but darkness, no Earth, no stars, no moon, just nothing but an endless black and a white spot that's getting closer and closer. Of course, they would also notice that whatever the blackness is, it's trying to get in the space station.

At the Gym

The tear is reaching its full size, revealing a large locked door of what looks like pure mana made with no handle, no key hole, just a familiar indentation at its center with spots showing the magical elements, all corresponding to the pieces of Antonio.

Cassie
Cassie let out a chuckle at Josh and Goltia screwing around, and then readjusted herself in her sitting position for no particular good reason, but just doing what you kinda did naturally any time a movie or video started up, even if there was literally no point in it. She glanced at Josh again and smiled, feeling strangely excited about the idea of watching a movie with Josh, and the others, even though it was something as simple as a movie.

But shortly after the movie had started, an alarm went off over the PA system, and that made Cassie let out a gasp. Now she was scared. With the alarm going off, it made this curfew lockdown feel all the more serious than it already felt. She found herself scooting closer to Josh' side than she already was, as if being close to Josh would make her feel safer and would make her safe. Her eyes darted around the room nervously, a worried look on her face, but she tried to focus her attention back onto the movie instead of getting distracted with her worries

But then, the entire space station shook from something happening that she had no idea what it was, and now she couldn't help but begin to panic. Without even realizing it, she found herself clinging to Josh like a little child would her parents during a scary situation, and you would think that she was 10 years old, not a 15-year old girl. She let out a whimper and couldn't even focus on the movie anymore.

"Maybe we should watch the movie later...I don't think I can focus on it right now..." Cassie said after a bit of silence, and after her bit of silence, she realized what she was doing and let go of her grip on Josh, blushing lightly and shakily saying "Sorry".

Caitlin
Caitlin nodded, then started to smile brightly at Tyler's words, probably blushing a little bit herself, just like Cassie had been doing. "We really did hit it off pretty quick, didn't we? We started talking a lot and became good friends quite fast, and then the next thing we know we're kissing each other on Halloween night" She laughed a little at her story about how they got together like they did. "Amazing how these things happen sometimes, eh? I came to this school expecting to be a training snob who did nothing but train, train, train, and master my abilities as much as possible while likely destroying my social life. But instead, my social life probably got better than it was before, and I still managed to keep up on my training quite a bit. I never came here expecting to get myself a boyfriend before I hit the age of 18, if not even farther, but that idea changed and I have no complaints" She smiled at Tyler at what she had said and just in response to her story in general

"I don't really know how I managed to avoid the vampires so much. Where I lived in Canada never really seemed to get affected by what happened. I guess I should be glad" Caitlin said, looking thoughtful for a moment. "I remember him. Didn't really see him much, though. Seemed like a bit of a stuck up asshole if I recall. And I remember him being pretty open about his habits of things that he eats or something. Not very good Edward material" She looked serious for a moment at her last comment, but a bit later let out a snort but didn't elaborate on what she thought was funny, instead leaving Tyler to either figure it out himself, or be completely clueless. She had caught on to the fact he didn't seem all too aware of the latest hit movies or shows, so he didn't get those kinds of jokes very often. When Tyler said that he expected they did the smart thing and shipped him off to a lab, she let off a slight shrug, not really sure what her opinion on sending someone was pretty much a human off to a lab was, but she didn't really care all that much to make a comment, either.

And then the alarm went off, shortly later followed by the shaking of the space station. Caitlin now looked a bit on edge, and a little worried, but not overly so since she had been working on training herself to be as brave as possible, but that didn't mean she wasn't freaking out a bit inside. She just didn't show it as much, and wanted to try and make sure that she WOULDN'T show it, and would get over that kind of thing, period, so she could turn herself into the ultimate vigilante.

"What the hell is going on out there? This seems pretty damn serious" Caitlin said to Tyler, on edge but overall remaining pretty calm.

Thomas had a wreck of hydraulics and metal scraps on the bench in no time, and had initially disregarded his roommate and his company. He would've muttered a curt " 'ey Jay , 'ey Sarah." To the two before getting to work on the assembled junk. He raised some hydraulics, placing a couple together on a hinge joint before capping it with a ball joint, making one of the leg joints in an unmasterful hurry. The bench's seemingly chaotic activity and hurried appearance contrasted with Thomas's currently focused demeanor and neutral tone.

After the alarms went off and Jay and Roady jumped at it, he decided it may be good to elaborate. He shouts to his roommate, noting his aversion to laud noises then disregarding it "Alright, sorry, was a bit focused." He pauses "Stations under attack, and were cornered. I can't get to my normal equipment, and this station can't be manipulated by my powers for some reason, so I'm getting some emergency gear ready." The swarm of blowtorches and parts behind him still working as he explains.

"Fine, no response." Alex knew the kid couldn't speak, but hoped he would at least show him the cover. He then pulled his laptop out of his bag, and opened up Hearts of Iron III, continuing with his save as Sweden. He was currently orchestrating the downfall of Finland in-game, preparing his troops to cross the border in the south, and organising the transports to ship the other half of his forces over to Helsinki. The station shook, Alex sort of freaked out. He pulled off his headset, looking around. Narain hadn't really responded to the shaking, so Alex slowly put his headset back on, continuing with his game.

Sarah followed Jay into his room, looking around for a brief moment and smiling at Roady, before going in and sitting on the bed beside Jay, noticing Thomas coming in, seemingly with his head focused on something else given that he barely noticed them. She decided to leave him be, since he seemed to be doing something important. It was at around that time when the alarms sounded throughout the station. They didn't bother Sarah as much, though they did startle her, but it seemed that Jay was affected by them quite a bit, given his reaction. Thomas then explained that he was trying to assemble some emergency gear in case whatever was happening was dangerous. She understood his concern, though she had more trust in the people in charge of the station than he did, apparently.

Then, the station shook. Perhaps her trust was a little bit misplaced.

"Are you alright?" She asked Jay afterwards.

(Jay)
Jay wasn't entirely sure he had heard all of what Thomas said to them, but he was pretty sure he got the gist of it. "There's a lot of guards to protect us. Them being guards, if whatever it is gets past them, why do you think that you'll have any chance against it? No offence," He said, rubbing his ears. He tensed when the station shook, and looked slightly alarmed, then nodded to Sarah. The noise was still annoying, but he had the biggest problem with sudden loud noises. Roady had now crawled under the bed, clearly freaked out by what was going on.

(Narain)
Narain had been distracted by the stuff going on on the station. He hadn't meant to ignore Alex, he was merely distracted. Twitching slightly at the alarm and the station shaking, he turned his attention back to Alex. He mouthed 'sorry', then held up the book for him to see, if he was still paying attention. It was a book called 'Dragon Champion'. It had the picture of a scaleless dragon on the front, and was from a series called 'The Age of Fire'.
Times are looking grim these days~

Elizabeth was currently in her office. After watching some Archer on her phone, she quickly fell asleep. Said peaceful sleep was unfortunately interrupted by the alarm going off. She woke up, yawned, and looked around the room. Groggily, she mumbled, "What's happening? We're under attack?" As though in reply to her question, the station shook violently, which suggested that indeed, it was being attacked by something. Elizabeth, however, felt something "off." She tried to lift her cellphone with her powers. No response. "Eh...? My connection is cut off? In that case, I'm useless." With that, she put her head back down and went back to sleep.
"The Nixon campaign in 1968, and the Nixon White House after that, had two enemies: the antiwar left and black people. You understand what I'm saying? We knew we couldn't make it illegal to be either against the war or black, but by getting the public to associate the hippies with marijuana and blacks with heroin, and then criminalizing both heavily, we could disrupt those communities. We could arrest their leaders. raid their homes, break up their meetings, and vilify them night after night on the evening news. Did we know we were lying about the drugs? Of course we did."—former Nixon domestic policy chief John Ehrlichman

Sarah heard what Jay said to Thomas and then noticed his nod. At least he was alright, which was good. She softly put her hand on his furthest shoulder and pulled him into a one-armed hug, as if to comfort him from the sudden noises that had upset him, and from whatever it was that made the station shook.

"I think he thinks that because we have powers. We have powers that no one else has and we are being trained in order to use them so that we can protect ourselves, and perhaps others. Or at least, that's what I think. Why else would they give us so much self-defence and survival and all of that?" She mused, half to Jay and half to herself.

"I know I'm going to protect you if something does happen. But I trust the people in charge. I'm sure this will pass." She said reassuringly.

The tear is reaching its full size, revealing a large locked door of what looks like pure mana made with no handle, no key hole, just a familiar indentation at its center with spots showing the magical elements, all corresponding to the pieces of Antonio.

Heavy blast shields closed over all the windows as the dark presence closed in on the station, but it wasn't quite fast enough. A window in the library was breached and the blackness was strong enough to keep the blast shield from closing. The dark presence entered the station, and the alarms changed to signify that intruders were aboard.

In the gym the massive protective blast doors meant for emergencies closed over the regular doors, forming a barrier that would take some time for anything to get through.

Hansel Dietrich, Guard of the Academy
Hansel was getting somewhat annoyed with the young girl who refused to cooperate. It was a small relief when he reached the door to her dormitory so he could get rid of her. He quickly opened the door and shoved her through, hoping that his colleagues inside would be able to keep her in line. Then the intruder alert sounded and he felt a bit of a shiver run up his spine. All the doors between sections of the station locked automatically and couldn't be opened by anyone until the alert was called off, to slow the movement of the intruders.

He and the other guards in the stairwell formed a line and prepared to repel the enemy, and he cursed his bad luck for having forgotten his helmet down by the security door to the hangar level. He suspected that he might need it because he could hear something coming down the stairs.

Tyler
Tyler was quite happy to know that Caitlin didn't really have any experience with vampires. He wouldn't wish that upon anyone, least of all someone he liked a lot. She made some sort of reference to some Edward when talking about the bloodsucker who had been at the Academy, but he really had no idea what it was a reference to. He did what he usually did when she made a reference he didn't get; smiled and nodded slightly.

When an alarm started blaring he all but jumped up from the bed, quickly scrambling to his feet. After a moment he managed to calm down a bit. And then there was a faint sound like explosions and he felt a bit freaked out again. He noticed that Caitlin seemed quite calm and forced himself to calm down again as well, mostly because he didn't want to be freaking out if there was some trouble and he had to defend her and partly because he didn't want to look like an idiot in front of her.

"I don't know," he answered when she asked what was going on. It was only with a lot of effort that he suppressed a small bout of panic as the entire station shook, much more noticeably than before. "Hang on, I'll check outside."

With a bit of trepidation he opened the door to his room and stuck his head out to see if he could see what was going on. In the common room there was a lot of students who looked very scared and the guards had formed a perimeter by the doors and assumed positions to fire.

"I think the station's under attack," he said to her, closing the door again.

"I know I'd have a better chance than a guard if I could get to my normal equipment, maybe I can still do something if I can jury rig something." He says in a rushed voice matching the pace of the rushed construction. As the various joints were being hastily put together, Thomas began attaching any metal he had for armor, a patchwork of various alloys of varying effectiveness. "I do hope the guards can handle it, but I don't want to be idle if they can't." He continues, his accent flaring with his nervousness.

Caitlin could tell that Tyler was clearly freaking out a little about what was going on, which was perfectly understandable. Even though deep down she was worried, as well, she still continued to do her best to remain calm. When Tyler said that he would go and check what was going on, she almost stopped him just so he didn't have to freak himself out even more than he already was clearly freaking out. But he got to the door before she could really do anything, so she remained where she was.

"I wonder what by. There's not really a whole lot that could possibly be attacking us, could there?" Caitlin asked Tyler uncertainly when he told her he thought that station was under attack. "You probably know what's more likely to be an enemy of the school than I do" She added.

Cassandra
"Great, maybe this place IS going to explode on my first day" Cassandra said to herself as the alarms went off, the sounds of some sort of guns shot off, and the space station shook heavily. "What a fucking great start to the school year" She said, letting out a sigh. There wasn't really anything she could do, so she remained where she was, generally being bored and sitting on her bed. If the asshole teacher hadn't taken her music away, she would just put her headphones on, blast up the music, and pretend like nothing was actually going on the best that you could pretend like nothing was going on around you when the freaking station was shaking.

Kira
Kira ended up departing from the Jun and the others, telling them that she would talk to them all later. She was getting to the point where she was feeling a bit too uncomfortable, so she wanted to go to the comfort of her room. So she headed to her room, and went and hid in there for now to stay away from everything that was going on.

"Yeah, me either," Josh said, wishing that his source of distraction was Cassie. Across from him, Goltia wore a similar expression to his; one of worry.
"You feel that, right?" she asked. Josh nodded.
"What's happening?" Grace asked quietly, her voice shaking somewhat. Josh shrugged, before giving Cassie a small smile and putting his arm around her shoulders protectively.
"Whatever's happening, we'll be alright," he said, saying it as a fact instead of a question.

Alexi

Alexi had had enough time to look out the nearest window and mutter 'What the fuck?' before the blast shields came down. Looking around, small wisps of flame rising from her body, she gave off a almost feral growl.
"Вчать тэ фуцк ис хаппенинг?" she said, tightening her glove straps. "эго ам идущий к убивать вы, отец."

Magenta

Magenta's quiet reading session in the library had first been interrupted by the station-wide alert, which had earned a frown and a seconds of diverted attention, and then more rudely interrupted by something smashing through the station windows. The sudden presence of the vacuum of space forced Magenta to drop her book and act quickly and on instinct.

To that end, she summoned an airtight wall of crystal that ran from wall to wall. The wall spread over the course of several seconds, but it did it's job: Sealing the room long enough for Magenta to make it to the stairs. Coughing as she burst into the stair well and kicked the door shut behind her, she then heard the sound of blast doors closing behind her.
"I delayed the automated response to a vacuum for as long as I could," Kara said through a nearby speaker. Nodding and coughing as her everything healed from vacuum exposure, Magenta then staggered to her feet and dusted her dress.
"Thank you, Kara. You saved my life," she said, before quickly making her way down the stairs.

Markus

"Okay, I really feel the need to say this again: What the actual fuck is happening?" Markus said, more to himself then anyone else. Feeling the vibrations of the station's defenses firing, he found himself recalling a memory.
"Feels just like the War all over again," he muttered.
