The man waved her on, "head over to the security checkpoint. They can tell you anything you need to know." He indicated the obvious collection of guards and equipment that was the hangar bay's security checkpoint, and then he turned his attention back to the cargo manifest he was going over.
Tyler
"Let's go then," Tyler agreed when Caitlin suggested as much. Judging by Leroy's impatient announcement just a few moments earlier they were later than he had thought they were, and he didn't like being late, so he didn't want to waste any more time. Even less he wanted to just leave Josh there alone, considering how some of the things he had talked about seemed to have upset him, so Tyler turned to him again.
"You coming, Josh?" he asked. He hoped that Josh would come with them so he wouldn't feel obligated to insist and become even more late.

The costume looked vaguely futuristic, mostly due to the odd helmet that was white with a blue visor. The costume was more pragmatic than anything else--a grey bullet-proof vest, faded green jacket, grey cargo pants, and grey gloves. She removed the vest and helmet, the latter's removal showing surprisingly long hair with its removal. The luggage cases, helmet, and vest placed on the conveyor-belt moved across the conveyor belt. Nothing of note was revealed. The event was more waiting for being told what to do by the security checkpoint and her items to come-across. Considering that it was an bullet-proof vest, she had the explanation for the vest prepared should they ask, though circumstances were that it probably broke a rule or two.

"Nope, I carry a bunch of my personal belongings in a suitcase to go through security checkpoints because that is fun. Here's your sign," she stated as the general treatment of "r" in multiple words made it clear that her accent originated in Boston. Considering the accent, it was good luck that there was no imitation of any Southern accents with the Billy Engval reference. "I've always wanted to do that, and you walked right into it," she rather cheerfully stated.

Busy," Taylor corrected as her foot got back to tapping. "Was not like she was in the same dorm anyway. Not worth the time yet," Taylor stated as, somewhere, a piece of Bramwell died due to the fractured sentences and prepositions at the ends of sentences. The time increasingly seemed odd as it got Taylor's foot tapping in rapid intervals.

After a moment, she stretched and yawned. She wished that the school operated on the same time-zone as that of where the United Nations headquarters were located rather than the seemingly arbitrary choice of Greenwich Mean Time, namely because it meant that she had to sleep earlier. The yawn was coincidental, though it accidentally implied that she lived somewhere in Alaska. "Hey, where are you from?"

The new arrivals were processed one at a time through the security checkpoint. Their luggage was scanned, searched if anything at all seemed out of the ordinary, and they themselves had to pass through a similar array of scanners. While the guards worked quickly and efficiently they were also quite cordial. Once everyone had been processed the new arrivals were gathered into different groups based on which dormitory they belonged to.
Guards then escorted the separate groups to their respective dormitories. Each student was shown to their room and handed a small package. The package contained a map of the school, the student´s schedule, and a personal keycard.

I'm not even that much of a friend to her beyond casual conversations here and there" She said, giving off a shrug and then turning to Tyler and putting her hand out to his.
"To class we go. This class could be interesting" Caitlin said.
Cassie
"I'm sorry that I'm late to class" Cassie said uncertainly when she came into the classroom, despite the fact she got there faster than Josh, Tyler, and Caitlin. She also, unsurprisingly, looked a bit shy when she spoke. She almost looked scared, too, even though deep down she knew she had no reason to be, and she was just being scary. Scared, uncertain, shy, and frowning. "I got sidetracked with my thoughts and I lost track of time..." She hung her head slightly. This was obviously said in Seroy's general direction.

Leroy was standing in the gym with his arms crossed, waiting for the students to arrive. The first of the late students to arrive was Cassie. He uncrossed his arms, his icy eyes watching her carefully. "It's fine," He assured her, just as Tyler walked in,"Don't worry about it." His voice was strangely missing it's normal icy quality, to an extent, anyway. The way he spoke to Cassie was gentle, or at least, more gently then how he spoke to most people.
He gave Caitlin, Tyler, Josh an icy glace, but only replied to what Vern said. "Maybe you should try using your map in the future. All the students are given one, to my knowledge," He said scathingly before walking towards the door. "The class will take place in the simulation room. The others have been kept waiting long enough," He said, heading out of the room and toward the simulation room.
