___"I did it!" a person in a flannel jacket carrying a sledgehammer cheered as the metallic elevator door opened on its own accord. Out of the plaid-decorated elevator came a panicked trio of Makoto, Sakura, and Bramwell left the elevator due to being late for class and a person in a green jumpsuit quietly walked out with a cardboard box on a hand-truck. Sternly, a glasses-clad with anger in his eyes stared at the bearded person with the sledgehammer as the later played air-guitar on it.
___"The one time I break my rules," Bramwell stated as the statement turned into a murmur with entrance to the class with hope that nobody noticed their late arrival as they got into the room. Despite hopes for a lack of notice, an interruption occurred.
___"Do not use elevator two; wait until the power-suppressors in there are back under control and the WD-40 is removed," one of the two members of the staff from the elevator earlier stated as he adjusted his oil-covered glasses with his rubber-glove covered hands so as to give them a shine as he carried a sealed-bucket with him. He walked away with the bucket as it revealed the presence of a chemical hazard symbol.

"Let's go then," Tyler agreed when Caitlin suggested as much. Judging by Leroy's impatient announcement just a few moments earlier they were later than he had thought they were, and he didn't like being late, so he didn't want to waste any more time. Even less he wanted to just leave Josh there alone, considering how some of the things he had talked about seemed to have upset him, so Tyler turned to him again.

"You coming, Josh?" he asked. He hoped that Josh would come with them so he wouldn't feel obligated to insist and become even more late.

Going through the metal detectors and re-claiming her luggage, she asked the nearest guard, in her prim accent,
"Where are the dorms, all of them? I need to know what is where. also, when do classes start, and what is offered?"

___Shortly after Visean's question was answered, a person behind her left, presumably due to her question being the same question. The costume looked vaguely futuristic, mostly due to the odd helmet that was white with a blue visor. The costume was more pragmatic than anything else--a grey bullet-proof vest, faded green jacket, grey cargo pants, and grey gloves. She removed the vest and helmet, the latter's removal showing surprisingly long hair with its removal. The luggage cases, helmet, and vest placed on the conveyor-belt moved across the conveyor belt. Nothing of note was revealed. The event was more waiting for being told what to do by the security checkpoint and her items to come-across. Considering that it was an bullet-proof vest, she had the explanation for the vest prepared should they ask, though circumstances were such that it probably broke a rule or two.

"Oh, hello! My name is Visean, in the vigilante dorm. And who might you be", she asked, sticking out her hand after setting down a bag to free a hand. "Are you new, like me? Or could you show me around a bit?"

___"Taylor," she replied with a noticeable affect as a smile crept onto her face with Visean's accidental invitation as she shook the hand. "Nope, I carry a bunch of my personal belongings in a suitcase to go through security checkpoints because that is fun. Here's your sign," she stated as the general treatment of "r" in multiple words made it clear that her accent originated in Boston. Considering the accent, it was good luck that there was no imitation of any Southern accents with the Billy Engval reference. "I've always wanted to do that, and you walked right into it," she rather cheerfully stated.

Giggling, she said, in her strong, yet not overpowering well-to-do British voice,
"I do enjoy a joke, even when it is at my expense. You didn't tell me what dorm you were in. Since we rived close together, perhaps the will room us together, if that is what the do here. If we are not in the same dorms, we will have to part ways soon."
They were coming to a split in the hall.

Caesar hurried down the hall to the hero dorms, having figured it would have been the safest choice and they wouldn't be rule pricks. having already constructed a three-D map in his head and following the green path he had decided to also etch into his map to follow, as he passed over it he erased it, it was his own personal argumented reality GPS guide. As he walked along he started getting bored with the same old walls and so for a little temporary entertainment he made it so that the walls looked like they had been left to rust a while and anybody who came by would look like a zombie.

___"Wait!" Taylor yelled as Visean walked-off while Taylor's stuff was sorted. "Damn you," Taylor said under her breath. "No, not damned. Busy," Taylor corrected as her foot got back to tapping. "Was not like she was in the same dorm anyway. Not worth the time yet," Taylor stated as, somewhere, a piece of Bramwell died due to the fractured sentences and prepositions at the ends of sentences. The time increasingly seemed odd as it got Taylor's foot tapping in rapid intervals.

Hearing the girl ask for her to wait up, she circled back. Wondering why the girl still hadn't said what dorm she was in, she inquired about it again.
"sorry, I am a bad listener. What dorm are you, again? And would you happen to know if they pair up people?"

___"I am a hero. Otherwise, I have no idea; guess that business will be sorted out as soon as I can get my stuff back," Taylor noted as the wait continued. After a moment, she stretched and yawned. She wished that the school operated on the same time-zone as that of where the United Nations headquarters were located rather than the seemingly arbitrary choice of Greenwich Mean Time, namely because it meant that she had to sleep earlier. The yawn was coincidental, though it accidentally implied that she lived somewhere in Alaska. "Hey, where are you from?"

She waved and turned back around to head off to her room.

There was about a dozen new students arriving at the Academy that day, and the guards had prepared accordingly. The new arrivals were processed one at a time through the security checkpoint. Their luggage was scanned, searched if anything at all seemed out of the ordinary, and they themselves had to pass through a similar array of scanners. While the guards worked quickly and efficiently they were also quite cordial. Once everyone had been processed the new arrivals were gathered into different groups based on which dormitory they belonged to.

Guards then escorted the separate groups to their respective dormitories. Each student was shown to their room and handed a small package. The package contained a map of the school, the student´s schedule, and a personal keycard.

"Cool, a keycard! I feel like a secret agent. Map, Schedule... What, no welcome gifts? I'm heartbroken!" She said sarcastically. Pacing around her new room, she noticed it had little in the way of decor. She wished she could change that, but alas. She had nothing but a shadow the hedgehog piggy bank and a blanket for that use. Taking the chopsticks out of her hair, she fnger combed it out ant set to work unpacking.

___Despite protestations, the bullet-proof vest of hers was taken to the armory. The distraction subsided anyway when the room was discovered to be independent of other people yet to her joy. That was promptly dashed when the schedule made it apparent that class was close to starting, which forced haste down the dormitory halls and into the commons to the elevator.
___"Do not use that elevator!" yelled the bearded person with a sledgehammer in one-hand, a yellow "Caution: Wet Floor" sign in the other, and a flannel jacket on his torso as he ran down the stairs, which forced a prompt change of plans up the stairwell.
___"Sorry, teach!" Taylor stated as she ran onto the pseudo-wood floors of the gymnasium and Makoto pinched Bramwell to prevent a correction of her grammar. An unmarked book in hand, Taylor's white helmet muffled her neither high nor low pitch voice and made her panting much more noticeable.

Looking at her schedule to see what she would be taking, Visean took the chopsticks, did up her hair, and tore out of her dorm room, hair in flames. Her hair pieces were treated to withstand such heat. She ran down a hallway and hooked a left. Pausing briefly in dismay at the blocked elevator, she then turned to sprint up two flights of stairs. She slid to a stop in front of her first class of the day. Yay science.

Josh had gone silent, a small smile on his face. After several moments, Tyler's voice shook him from his reprieve and thoughts.
"I fucking hate lying," He muttered softly. Holding his arms up, he called the orbs back into his aura, before nodding. "Yeah, I'm coming. Sorry, I was just thinking."

"Well, there's one thing you and Cassie certainly have in common" Caitlin smirked for a brief moment at her comment before continuing. "Though, from what I have gathered, hate seems to be a rather strong word in her vocabulary that she doesn't really like using. But hey, what do I know? I'm not even that much of a friend to her beyond casual conversations here and there" She said, giving off a shrug and then turning to Tyler and putting her hand out to his.

"To class we go. This class could be interesting" Caitlin said.

Cassie
"I'm sorry that I'm late to class" Cassie said uncertainly when she came into the classroom, despite the fact she got there faster than Josh, Tyler, and Caitlin. She also, unsurprisingly, looked a bit shy when she spoke. She almost looked scared, too, even though deep down she knew she had no reason to be, and she was just being scary. Scared, uncertain, shy, and frowning. "I got sidetracked with my thoughts and I lost track of time..." She hung her head slightly. This was obviously said in Leroy's general direction.

staring at the girl, she turned back to pay attention to the lesson about survival. She had learned some of this stuff, but it was always nice to learn more about this kind of thing. You never know when you might need it. paying attention now, she focused on the traps and snares he was demonstrating.

Alex, having finished un-packing, opened the package he had been given. A map of the school, a schedule, and he had been given the keycard for his room already. Upon examining his timetable, he realised he had Combat/Stealth/Survival class first. But, it started five minutes ago, and was one floor up. Shit.
"Well, then. See you around Narain. Classes to go to." He grabbed his stuff, his keycard, map and schedule, and left the room. He walked out of the room, and down the corridor to the common room. He went up one floor, taking two steps at a time, wondering briefly what life for Narain would be like, with his lack of vocal ability. Thoughts for another time. He reached the top of the stairs, and turned down the corridor, walking briskly down it. He eventually reached the gym, and stepped inside.
"Sorry I'm late, Teach." He said, to the somewhat threatening man stood at the front of the hall.

Tyler took Caitlin's hand before leading the way from Josh's room to head to class, already a few minutes late. A somewhat rushed walk later they arrived at the gym, where the class was supposed to be held, and found a rather annoyed teacher waiting for them. Tyler fully expected Leroy to be pissy about it, whining and possibly even giving them detention or some shit, but he found it hard to care about the opinions of people like him.

"Sorry we're late," he said to the teacher, "there were issues that we needed to deal with."

Vern was pretty impressed with the space station so far, despite getting lost twice already. finally after a little help from a passing by technician he found the gym. "I this thing built just to mess with the heads of new people? I managed to get lost twice just trying o get here from my room," he asked as he entered the gym.

(Leroy)
Leroy was standing in the gym with his arms crossed, waiting for the students to arrive. The first of the late students to arrive was Cassie. He uncrossed his arms, his icy eyes watching her carefully. "It's fine," He assured her, just as Tyler walked in,"Don't worry about it." His voice was strangely missing it's normal icy quality, to an extent, anyway. The way he spoke to Cassie was gentle, or at least, more gently then how he spoke to most people.

He gave Caitlin, Tyler, Josh an icy glace, but only replied to what Vern said. "Maybe you should try using your map in the future. All the students are given one, to my knowledge," He said scathingly before walking towards the door. "The class will take place in the simulation room. The others have been kept waiting long enough," He said, heading out of the room and toward the simulation room.

Following the teacher, Visean was pretty excited to hear of a simulation room. She wondered what would be in it, if she was capable of passing the class, and if there would be any cute boys. Inside she was just a teenage girl. Being adult-ish was over-rated.

His voice was strangely missing it's normal icy quality, to an extent, anyway.

Alex

After the teacher bluntly ignored Alex, and walked straight past him, presumably to the simulation room that he was talking about, Alex followed him and the other students to this place. A simulation room? Sounds pretty good.
