Darkstar may have been a little evil but he was a teacher first and evil second. He decided that maybe if Ms. Green came she could give Alexander the tour. He turned on his computer and got ready to ask some questions. He then turned back to Cole. "Mr. Riker, I may be a little evil in the head but I'm a teacher first and you sound like a student in need of some help. Now you say you have a troubled present and can't even think. Please tell me exactly what you mean. As a teacher it is the troubled present which concerns me which makes me think that someone is targeting you. Please open up. I swear that if you would like nothing of what you tell me will leave this office. Proceed."

"You're evil?" Cole practically squeaked, taking a step back. He just sort of listened to what Darkstar said. When he said to tell him exactly what he meant, Cole tilted his head,"I can't think straight," He said, as if it was obvious what he meant when he said he can't think. He put his hand to head head,"It's so foggy. Shattered, like a mirror, just shards, filled with darkness and fog." He twitched,"There was a light, but it's gone now." He nearly whispered the last part. "There was a student here, just today, he threatened to make me wolf food for a wolf of shadow. There was a portal, he tried to get me to do what he wanted, but I escaped. He was going to kill me," He said, starting to tremble.

Darkstar looked a little surprised. He figured this student was probably in the Villain Dorm. "Foggy you say? Like a shattered mirror you say? Well that's an easy problem to fix Cole. If its filled with darkness and fog then find a light to break through it. Look for that light in companions and everyone around you. No matter how dark people seem even the most vile, murderous, cruel, or twisted people have just the slightest ray of light inside them. You just have to keep digging. And try and fix the mirror and piece it together one piece at a time." Then he did a double take when Cole said shadow wolf and portal. He figured he knew which student that was.

Thomas was still dazed, but he managed to open up the helmet with what little focus he had left, and nodded towards a little button on the revealed neckpiece. The button would disconnect all the plates, and allow for removal. He was not unconscious yet, though it seemed like he was falling in and out quickly.

Inside, the armor was already taking pre-programmed measures, injecting minor painkillers and stimulants to keep him awake. The computer was not that knowledgeable however on dealing with full puncturing. Thomas might be revived naturally, but it would take time, as the stimulants weren't designed for bodily damage, but as a way to keep the operator alert.

Cassie shook her head. "I like to try and help people" She said, giving Sakura the simple response that came to her mind about the discussion of Rachael. To what she said next, she frowned and seemed a little annoyed, but not overly so. "I hate suffering. I don't feel like suffering is okay. I would do anything to feel normal again but I've just accepted that I probably will never be perfect again, or at least for a very long time" She explained to Makoto. "Why do you think I got myself to go to the psychiatrist the last few times I've gone? And last nights party? It is because I'm trying to fix myself. I'm trying to get better. It is just a slow process and it takes time....and it is so hard to get myself to do these things sometime, because I know they will trigger emotional moments I don't want to think about...." She said quietly, shaking her head and then looking back to Sakura. "Can we please not talk about this stuff? I'm happy today and I don't want my mood ruined" She said to Sakura.

She followed them to the Cafeteria, and kind of stood there for a moment. She kind of ignored what Makoto said except the part related to food. "No, it;s okay, I'll get my own food" She told Makoto. The reason she decided to get her own was because she didn't think any of her friends really knew that she was Vegan. Of course she could just tell them she was Vegan but she decided it was easier and less complicated for her friends if she just got it herself. So that was exactly what she did, and like usual, she got a plate full of mostly fruits and vegetables, and a glass of water, then sat down at the table with everyone else, remaining silent until they said something.

Caitlin
Caitlin chuckled at what Tyler said, and what he said made her start smiling brightly. She liked people who openly acted silly and dorky, and she tried to do the same herself a lot of the time. Without a sound beyond chuckling, she followed Tyler and the rest of the "breakfast train" to the Cafeteria that wasn't even very far away.

Other then the rather large group of people that had just headed into the Cafeteria, the Cafeteria seemed rather deserted and empty this morning, probably because most of the people were asleep already. Since part of what Wilson and Tyler were doing was training, she remained quiet and let them do their thing, sitting down at the big table with Josh, Goltia, and Grace, noticing something seemed to be bothering Goltia but not wanting to pry too much into what was bothering her. But her comment indicated it was something related to her stomach, and she definitely understood stomach problems so she didn't even ask what had caused her stomach to be "Like a jackhammer was hitting it" and just remained silent for the time being.

Wilson followed Tyler into the cafeteria. When Tyler asked what he need for training he responded.

"We will need two cups filled with ice that I will get right now and I don't care where we sit as long as we sit." Wilson said as he telekinetically filled up two cups with ice and brought them over to his locating while simultaneously filling up his cup of water and getting a plate of breakfast sausage and pancakes. He didn't usually show off his telekinesis, but today was an exception.

"So where are we going to sit?" Wilson asked with all his stuff just floating around him.

Tyler watched as Wilson gathered all the things necessary for his planned training exercise, wondering what exactly he was planning with some cups of ice. Juggling or something, he eventually assumed. After loading a tray with an acceptable amount of food he was satisfied with the size of his breakfast and looked around to see where the others had gone.

"Let's sit with the others," he answered when Wilson asked, following Caitlin towards the table where Josh and the others had already taken seats. He noticed that one of the girls, Josh's sister unless he was mistaken, looked quite miserable. It would probably be best to not do anything to upset her, he thought, because girls could be very strange when they were feeling ill.

Upon reaching the table he sat down next to Caitlin. The seat opposite him was free so Wilson could sit down and demonstrate whatever exercise he had planned.

The guard quickly noticed what Thomas was trying to tell him and pressed the small button to open the armor. When the armor was off enough for him to get at the injury he opened the first aid kit and looked more closely at the wound. It immediately became clear to him that it was more serious than he could deal with on his own so he quickly applied some gauze to staunch the bleeding, leaving the shrapnel in to avoid furthering the blood loss. Then he called for a med team.

The explosion had set off all sorts of alerts, sending both guards and medics to the scene, so it wasn't even a matter of minutes before a med team showed up at the scene. After briefly examining Thomas they made the same assessment as the guard; removing the shrapnel would require surgery down in the infirmary. They loaded him onto a gurney and hurried off towards the stairs to bring him to the doctors.

"Don't worry, you're going to be fine," one of the medics assured him.

As Thomas was taken out on the gurney, he finally lost consciousness after the stimulants wore off. Maybe he should've used something a bit more potent than Ibuprofen and Cyclohexedrine to keep him up. As he slipped, he heard the medic, but couldn't help but think things would be okay. This would be the first time he went into surgery for anything. His mind just tried to focus on everything else.

He would wake back up some point and have to deal with what has been happening the entire time. The recovery time would be quite a while, and he might not be able to go on missions. Any work on new projects would be stopped for quite some time. He wouldn't be able to help Goltia today, not a terrible loss, but nevertheless an annoyance. His last thoughts before passing out were thoughts of if he might be sent back home.

Wilson brought all his stuff to the other side of Tyler and sat down opposite to him taking a sip of his drink he then began to speak.

"So what you are going to be doing here right now is practicing the application of telekinetic power in a uniform and regulated manner to use in situations in which cutting is necessary for example lets say I don't have a knife and I need to fillet this fish." Wilson pointed at his breakfast sausage. "I would be normally screwed, but if I apply my telekinesis in such a way that it splits the tissue and allows me to fillet my fish and eat it." Wilson finished talking and picked up his sausage and threw it up over the plate. Pointing his finger up he snapped and applied telekinesis in swift and strong lines of force cutting the sausage into four piece which landed on his plate. Pick up a fork he ate one.

"Thats just one example with the usage of directed force in that way, with the power you could probably tear a bear in half. Practicing this skill is harder on tissue that it is on a material that has a mostly crystalline structure as it is easier to use and get the hang of and since you want to be able to see what you have applied force to its better if the material is transparent. Ice match all of those qualities so thats why we use ice. So take your best shot at splitting it, it might be good to work at it like a saw then eventually start using less and less strikes until you can do it as one combined strike like this." Wilson finished his sentence then picked up a piece of ice from the cup. Applying his telekinetic power he split the ice perfectly down the center.

Josh sipped as his coffee, watching one of Tyler's friends do.. .Something, with telekinesis. While he was watching, he called forth a small orb of energy and started manipulating it, first it's shape, then it's colors, as it flashed from the orange that most of his energy was, to blue, then red. Then, he bite his lip gently, directing the orb to hover a few inches above the table.
"I wonder.." He muttered, before holding his hand out. The orb pulsed slightly, then seemed to disappear from view, only a corona of energy visible. Then, with Josh frowning in concentration, the orb pulsed again, and this time the orb went pitch black, with only a corona visible once more. Josh smiled softly.
"Heh. That looks kinda cool, bro" Goltia said. She then was distracted by a plate loaded with food being dumped in front of her. Looking at the food, she drooled slightly.
"I love you Grace," Goltia said, before grabbing a knife and fork and attacking the plate. For her part, Grace blushed slightly as she sat down, her own plate in hand.
"Love you too, dear," she replied, brushing some of her white hair off her face and starting to eat. The two eat in silence, Josh content to stare at his orb energy for the moment. Grace then looked at Goltia for a moment, then spoke.
"I wanna dye my hair again," she said. Without looking, or even visibly communicating, the Twins both replied at the same time, their voices melding.
"No." Their voices then split as the two both spoke at the same time.
"Your hair makes you, you. Just like my powers, and the dangers in them, make me, me. No point in changing who you are just because of what others thing of you," said Josh.
"You're hair is beautiful! Why would you wanna change that? I would kill to get hair that nice, and you wanna ruin it by dying it?" Goltia said. Grace looked at the two, her mind struggling to process what they both said. Grace opened her mouth to reply, before looking at someone on the other side of the table. Looking up, the Twins found themselves staring at Abigale. Her appearance, although relatively unchanged, was a good deal tidier then it was before. He hair was neatly brushed and tied back into a ponytail, and her coat looked like it had seen a washing machine multiple times. In place of her button up shirt, she instead wore a sleeveless top, one that was too short for her body, stopping at her hips, putting part of the hideous scar that ran down her stomach on display. The biggest change, however, was her eyes. Gone was the seething rage, replaced by something akin to remorse. The three simply stared at her for a moment.
"Here. Painkillers. Kara said you might need them. They shouldn't give you a reaction and kill you," she said softly, tossing a small box at Gotlia, who deftly caught it. Shaking the box for a moment, she looked at her younger sister warily.
"Thank.. You?" she said cautiously. Abigale nodded and gave a small smile, before disappearing from existence, reappearing near the food counter. Staring at the box for a moment like it was radioactive, Goltia looked at Josh in disbelief.
'Was she... Nice, just now?" she said. Josh nodded.
"Yeah. She was. And she smiled. What the fuck happened to her last night? " he said, looking at his youngest sibling over his shoulder, who was busy collecting a modest pile of the morning's pasta dish. Goltia, meanwhile, occupied herself by opening the box and dry swallowing two of the pills.
"Oh, gods above, these taste horrible. Maybe she is trying to kill me," she said, reaching for her coffee.

Magenta was slowly waking down a corridor towards the gym, humming softly as she read The Da Vinci Code. She was intending on practicing her crystal manipulation, but her plans were interrupted by the sound of an explosion, followed by a small alarm. A few minutes later, a medical team rushed past her, coming back a few moments later with one of the students on a gurney. Closing her book, Magenta turned on her heel and followed them. When they reached the elevator, she stopped the doors from closing and slipped in, carefully depositing herself out of the team's way. When the team's leader opened their mouth, she cut them off.
"Get anything out of him, and I can make him good as new," she said firmly.

Tyler used his fork to scoop up some egg and bacon from his plate and chewed in silence as he listened to Wilson. The demonstration of cutting a sausage was actually quite impressive, at least to someone who knew how hard it was to get any sort of precision when using telekinesis. After the sausage demonstration Wilson explained the purpose of the ice, giving a few helpful pointers and then demonstrating cutting it. Tyler swallowed his mouthful of food before reaching over to grab an ice cube.

"Alright, let's give this a try then," he mumbled while holding the cube up in front of his face between his thumb and index finger.

He tried to keep the force as low as possible to avoid breaking the ice, keeping in mind Wilson's tip about sawing, but nothing seemed to be happening for several seconds. Then the cube suddenly shattered into dozens of tiny fragments that rained down over his breakfast. "That could have gone better," he said while using his utensils to push the ice away from his food. As he was pushing the ice around an idea occurred to him. "I'm gonna try something else," he declared, reaching over to grab another ice cube.

After he had placed the cube on the table next to his tray he held his hand next to it, his fingers positioned as if he was holding something even though his hand was empty. A look of intense concentration crossed his face as he started moving his hand back and forth and within a few moments small filings of ice started removing themselves in a thin strip from the top of the cube. It looked very much like he was cutting the ice with an invisible knife. When he was almost halfway through the cube it exploded much like the first one had, though there were slightly fewer pieces.

"I'm getting better," he said contently before spearing a slice of bacon on his fork and plopping it into his mouth.

"Alright, follow us," the medic replied to Magenta's offer of help. He didn't really know what she could do but she was a teacher and there seemed to be no reason why she would lie about something like that, so he trusted that she could help as she said. As soon as the elevator doors opened again they rushed off, carting Thomas to the infirmary with great haste. A doctor was already standing by when they got there so the patient was immediately moved into one of the operating rooms.

Fortunately for everyone involved the shrapnel lodged in Thomas' arm hadn't caused any major damage. The small team of doctors quickly went to work on removing the metal from his arm, which turned out to be a thankfully quick and easy procedure because the shrapnel had stayed in one big piece rather than fragmenting inside of him. Within a few minutes of carting him into the room they had removed the shrapnel entirely and started preparing to stop the bleeding and seal the wound, just in case Magenta's help turned out to be insufficient.

"Ma'am, all the metal has been removed from his wound," a medic informed her, "so if there was anything you could do to help it would be appreciated."

"Good job, it takes time and if you get this quickly we can move on to some more exercises. When you pump a little too much energy into the ice it cracks all over, and when you overload it totally it shatters. As you have started shattering a couple try and lower the amount of power you are using since you have a bit of more wiggle room to mess up as a misdirection of energy will the chance of dissipating while just using all out power will shatter it every time you make a mistake." Wilson finished his speech as he continued to eat his 2nd breakfast and watched what Tyler did.

Wilson finished his speech as he continued to eat his 2nd breakfast and watched what Tyler did.

Tyler frowned as Wilson suggested that he should just use less power. Apparently Wilson had misunderstood his problem because that was exactly what he didn't know how to do. If he already knew how to use less power reliably he wouldn't need any help, but no matter what he did it seemed like he couldn't keep his power under control for more than a few seconds.

"I don't know how to control my power like that," he explained, "that's what I'm trying to figure out."

"Ah, right my mistake sorry about that, but you're improving at a very fast rate so if you keep it up and you might finish this exercise by the end of the day which would be awesome. As we could move on to some mental focus exercises. Keep up the good work." WIlson said as he went back to his food. He continued to eat as he watched Tyler.

Magenta nodded, before placing a hand on Thomas' chest. Her hand began glowing softly, before Magenta shivered as the boy's wounds began to slowly knit themselves closed. Wiping her forehead, Magenta turned to the medical staff.
"It'll take a few minutes to fully heal him. It may be good to carefully watch him for a few minutes," she said, sitting down on a nearby chair and pulling her book out once more and finding her page.

Tyler shrugged at Wilson's statement that they could move on to other exercises if he mastered the current one quickly. He was rather skeptical that he would make any giant breakthrough at the breakfast table and suddenly learn how to use his powers perfectly, but he saw no reason not to continue trying. It helped that cutting the ice was at least slightly interesting as a challenge.

"This will be good practice if I ever decide to take up a career of making ice sculptures," he joked as he placed another ice cube on the table and repeated the sawing motion with his hand. He got almost as far through it as the first one before it shattered.

The two medics and the doctor looked on with great interest as Magenta's healing power did its work. To see flesh literally pull itself together like that was quite fascinating, and a little disconcerting, for people who had dedicated their lives to healing others with more mundane means. After a few minutes Thomas' shoulder was in perfect condition again, nothing at all indicating that a piece of metal had been lodged in it only minutes earlier. The doctor dismissed the two medics, assuming that they wouldn't be needed while watching for any changes in the patient's condition, and then turned to Magenta.

"Thank you for your help," he said to her, wearing a bright smile, "you've spared this boy weeks or months of recovery. Do you want to stick around until he wakes up? I'm sure he'd like to thank you as well..."

Thomas was near dreamless as he was in the infimiry, he did have one that disconcerted him. He drifted into a dream that he did not want to revisit, it was nearly three years ago, back at the bank, with his parents.

Thomas was following his parents to the bank to deposits some checks and get some cash, as the family was planning to do some home renovations. Thomas was dragged along to finally set up a bank account. He was different back then, as he didn't really have much respect for authority, or others for that matter.

"Come on Tom, it'll be easy enough" his mother said as they stepped out of the old civic they owned.

Thomas sighed "What's the point? I could do it later."

"At least try not to make a scene, it'll be fast." she replied, getting into line.

The line was abnormally long, and peoe were crowding out, there wasn't much going on, and a few people waited goths side. As they waited, Thomas heard gunshots, and a cascade of screams and shouts. Five men in black masks weilding sporting rifles ran in, shouting at the cashier. The other four began yelling at everyone to get down, and they did.

Then the police showed up, Thomas tried to get his parents over more into a corner, but they were too frightened to move. The men aimed, and opened fire.

Thomas watched in horror as he saw his parents get shot up, falling over dead. Time seemed to dilate as Thomas started yelling, and his mind seemed to break in just the right way. He began seeing things, hearing data in his head. He didnt pay much attention, as he focused on the guns. The robbers were surprised as their weapons floated up, at beat them down. Time began speeding back up as the police ran in, surprised to see the robbers decapacitated. Thomas was still unable to save his parents, and that day, his life changed forever.

Thomas was then brought back to conciousness, waking up with a start and a gasp. He looked at his shoulder, and felt it, seeing that there was nothing there, despite what he thought had happened. He then realized that the art teacher was there, along with a doctor. He looked up, confused and asked "What happened? Was anyone else hurt?" his memory of what had just happened still trying to register.

Caitlin mostly just observed everything going on in silence, being rather quiet for her right now but only because she didn't really have anything to say about anything going on. She was going to praise Tyler but decided that she would do that later, closer to when he was done. Mostly to not distract him so he didn't end up messing up because of her drawing his attention elsewhere. With most of what Josh, Goltia, and Grace did and said she remained silent through, as well. Except when Abigale arrived and left, acting...normal.

"I'm sure you 3 know her way better then I do but that was even a strange sight for me to see" She chimed in, chuckling slightly. She started to laugh when Goltia dry swallowed the pills and talked about them tasting horrible, and maybe Abigale was trying to kill her. "Typically pills like that just taste disgusting, which is why you want to get them down your throat as quickly as possible so they don't have time to dissolve and taste bad. The worst ones are the ones that start dissolving instantly no matter what you do and still taste like crap" She said, thinking of not-so-fond memories of taking some disgusting medication for a while to get over some sinus sickness.

"Your weapon misfired," the doctor explained when Thomas asked what had happened, "but it only hurt you." He used a small light to test if Thomas' pupils contracted as they should, shining it straight into his eyes. "You don't seem to have a concussion," he mumbled before continuing at a conversational tone, "we brought you here, pulled a piece of shrapnel from your shoulder, and then this nice lady here helped us patch you up." He gestured at Magenta. "And I dare say, she did a better job of it than I would have been able to. Not even a mark left behind..."

Tyler
Tyler heard Caitlin say something about medicine, but he had been so engrossed by his little exercise that he had no idea what kind of conversation had led up to that topic. He felt like it would be best to listen in a bit before jumping into any conversation on the off chance that it was about something really serious and heavy. The last thing he wanted to do was to seem like an insensitive asshole by cracking jokes if the others were talking about close relatives lost to illness or something like that.

He turned his attention back to trying to cut an ice cube in half, struggling a bit with it since he also wanted to keep an ear on the conversation going on beside him.

"Cassie, remember the time you locked yourself in your room while you saw a threat? When that happened, you didn't bother to get help. I am not saying that, as friends, we should do CBT on you; that would be beyond stupid. What I am saying is that friends may be worth talking to since they are capable of calling the infirmary rather than letting you sit in the fetal-position terrified to death," Sakura explained, rather confused at why she talked to Makoto at times that she simply ignored. She was the only one who carried the conversation anymore while Bramwell and Makoto were silent. Sakura's tone was different than before--quieter and in hushed tones. Sakura was intentionally vague about the incident, rather not to say much about the incident just in case she said the wrong thing.

---

".... I am telling you, Waldo would win by sheer quality of not looking out of place in there. How is a huge red hat and red trench coat going to blend in to any extent with the crowds? The man has experience blending into crowds that look nothing like him, such as Viking raids, wild-west town sets, town squares, medieval castle sieges. Whatever place he found himself in, so long as there were crowds, he found a way to become one with the crowd. When you take out the fair play that is Waldo in places by placing him a place loaded with people wearing red and white sweaters, blue jeans, and red and white toques, he will be damn near impossible to find. On the other hand, Carmen Sandiego taunts her opponents by sending them clues. All the T-1000 has to do is head to an internet café to look up what restaurants in the mall were founded in year x and it will know she is at the Tim Horton's planting the next stop on the trail while master of crowd stealth Waldo seamlessly moves through the congested crowds while making Altair look like a hipster," Makoto explained as she took a seat with her tray of strawberry-topped Belgian waffles with powdered sugar. Makoto's tone was drenched with sarcasm and haughty declarations. Despite the nature of the arguments, there was structure to them in that there were meant to be sufficiently long as to allow the opposite party to eat while the other made an arguement.

"Makoto, 'I'ma let you finish, but Carmen Sandiego is the real winner here. The fact he is in the Edmonton Mall on Christmas eve will offer no-advantage to our friend. How could you forget that he is a British creation, not Canadian or American. The moment he opens his mouth, he'll paint a target on his back. Worse still, he is a 'Stepford Smiler'; never will a person that chipper blend in with people in a mall on Christmas Eve. Waldo is hardly a master of evasion because, here's the problem, he stays where people are searching for him. When people searching for him arrive on the scene, he is still there. You deride Carmen Sandiego for leaving clues, but you forget that she is never there when they arrive at their next destination. It is only after a long trip across multiple nations that she is ever present, and she still has an escape plan. This is not forgetting that she has henchmen who could serve as distractions and, should the need arise, cannon-fodder for the T-1000. If Waldo is spotted, nobody is going to take a bullet for him," Sakura derided with much sarcastic glee as she took a seat beside opposite Makoto. There was a gleeful derision in her argument over a topic Makoto found on the internet from a site with multiple w's and one f.

"Exactly, all Waldo has is Wenda and Wizard Whitebeard. This is actually an advantage. Remember that they are dealing with the T-1000, so it will probably try to go in disguise as somebody else. One of Carmen's mooks or one-note henchmen would be easy. 'Oh, this person is a superstitious Hawaiian. I will use a Hawaiian affect and remember to bring up common superstitions.' Carmen will not even be able to tell the difference. This is not even getting into how, at one point, a 'South will rise again' type used time travel to take control of her organization so that he could fight the Civil War well into the modern day. If this happens before that point, he is going to see an opportunity and assist the T-1000 and 'heroically' destroy it, leaving Waldo free to take his prize and get out of the horrors of a mall on Christmas eve. Oh, and before you say anything, Odlaw is hardly going to be capable of assisting the T-1000 since he is so unlucky as a villain that Waldo does not even know he exists," Makoto countered with deadpan as she tried to hide her smile at the absurdity of the debate. When Makoto said, "the Civil War", she glanced at Bramwell for a moment as he ate, still not talkative.

"Are you kidding? Waldo is the type of person who is just so darn chipper at everything that happens that the T-1000 just needs to do something threatening and look for the smiling onlooker. Then again, that is still not as bad as what you were suggesting with the start of the Second American Civil War. It is funny that you should bring up Odlaw, for he is aware of his status as a fictional character and frequently breaks the fourth wall. How that helps, I have no idea where this is going. It has to be something wrong, maybe because he would team-up with that neo-confederate in order to get a two-for-one deal of rivals no longer. They would assist the Terminator, but Odlaw's status as a cosmic play-thing will result in numerous instances of horrendous luck befalling the villains. There will probably be a swarm of security guards dog-piling them by the end before the T-1000 fights his way out of the dog-pile and goes right for the smiling onlooker. The game will be over, and Carmen Sandiego will come-out in one piece," Sakura happily explained as she dug into her omlette filled with steak and varieties of peppers while she waited for Makoto's inevitable counter. Sakura overestimated how engaged Makoto was with the conversation, as Makoto's glance at Bramwell when the mention of the "Second American Civil War" happened. After a lull in the conversation, Makoto went on a different train of thought entirely.

"Not a single mention of whatever American civil wars happened that did not receive Ken Burns documentaries? Bramwell, where is the derailment of the conversation? I'd say you were an imposter, but the mere fact I said it means it is either true because of tension building through ignorance or false because I speculated aloud what it was. It is time for drastic measures. Quick, what song made Nixon angry at 1776? Well, that sounds worse when I say it aloud," Makoto questioned as the realization that inquiries into the question of whether the person she spoke to was an imposter for not talking much was not good.

Bramwell paused his meal of oranges and slices of frittatas to get out a multimedia device and tapped rapidly at it before "Cool, Cool, Considerate Men" played. The bells that started the song soon went away as it became clear that he song was Bramwell's answer. The song's usage of the term "conservative" in the historical context of the time meant the term for Nixon's political leanings was the same as those of rich delegates who valued land-ownership, opposed the American Revolution, exploited people's fantasies of wealth, and sang minuets that painted themselves as uncompromising members of the right-wing, the last one being an anachronistic term that Bramwell simply didn't point out due to the lack of want to communicate which Makoto was not versed enough to recognize.

"Okay, you're Bramwell. Anyway We really need to adopt codes at some point should we need to understand if one is an imposter or not in an body-snatcher-styled invasion," Makoto speculated as the song played on a lower volume in the background, as she spoke after the bell ringing ended and the volume lowered shortly after it. "Damn it; I apologize," she said before Bramwell put away the device. "Okay, something other than that. What were we talking about again?"

"Well, I haven't the slightest idea," Sakura replied, rather confused and without any idea of what was debatable. In the confused silence inspired by people of poor memory, it was unknown just what was available to discuss. Cassie had power to determine the next conversation.

"I didn't lock myself in my room, I was already locked in there before I had that mental breakdown" Cassie clarified to Sakura. She shook her head. That memory wasn't one she wanted to think about. The fact she felt as if her father appeared in her room, tormenting her about the fact she had killed him and it felt real wasn't something she wanted to relive, though she feared that she might end up doing so anyway. Maybe not in the same way but she worried about having another mental breakdown where she would think she was somewhere she was not. As much as she felt happy today she knew this fight with post-traumatic stress disorder and her major depressive disorder were far from over. "I would rather deal with the breakdown with friends or by myself then go to the Infirmary. I'm sick of hospitals" She told Sakura, and then started to pick at her food.

Throughout the entire conversation going on Cassie remained silent, because absolutely none of it meant anything to her at all and she couldn't see how she could join in on it. Not that she would of likely joined in, anyway. So she vaguely listened to them even if most of it went right over her head while eating her food. She didn't just pick at it or not eat at all like usual, either. She seemed to actually eat it normally like she had an appetite. And she did that throughout the whole conversation, her plate of fruits and vegetables almost being gone by then.

When it was open for her to turn the discussion elsewhere, she remained silent, due to not being the talkative type. She didn't have any real subject she could think of talking about, anyway, so everything just remained silent until someone else came up with something to say.

Magenta smiled at all the praise, looking up from her book.
"Just using the gift the universe gifted me," she said. Then, she stayed silent as Thomas awoke and the doctor gave him a once over. Looking up once more when she was referred to, she gave a kind smile.
"My parents always said that it was a waste that I wasn't a doctor. I always replied that I'm simply not focused enough for it," she said, standing a placing a hand on Thomas' shoulder gently. Her hand glowed for a moment, and she gave a sigh of relief as her factor returned to her. Looking at Thomas, she called forth a sliver of crystal and began flickign it between her fingers.
"Now, I'm sure that these good people will ask anyway, and I am no doubt curious myself. Why did your weapon explode? From what I've seen, you have impeccable control over your abilities, so I'm guessing something unexpected happened," she said softly.
