Raymond, still with his small experiment, didn't notice that the local wildlife started going crazy until after a while. He took his coin and put it back into his pocket, where it belonged, before looking up, seeing the birds fly away towards the horizon and the pigs, insects, and other ground creatures rushing away from the place or digging themselves a shelter under the ground to protect themselves from whatever was coming. This was, more than obviously, something not natural, and it was with knowledge of this that Raymond knew that something dangerous was coming. At the least, something dangerous to make nature itself wary, unless the simulation was meant to give that impression without there being anything actually dangerous. But, as the saying went, better safe than sorry.

"Bramwell! We both know something's coming. Where is it coming from?" He asked.

Caitlin
Caitlin chuckled at Bramwell's description of her one theory. It seemed like an appropriate response to it. She thought it would be a pretty ridiculous thing if it was true, but she was just throwing out all the possible theories. Though, Bramwell's thought process was definitely weird. Not that she minded that. She liked weird. Some of the most awesome of people were the weirdest. She preferred people to be themselves and different, unique, and weird, then try to force themselves to be 'normal' to fit in, or just because it was supposedly cool to be exactly like everyone else.

"Your description made me think of that one time I went to Everett, Washington...Well, I think it was Everett. I forgot exactly. And I went on a tour at the Boeing Field. God damn that building is freaking huge. I remember walking down an endless underground tunnel to an elevator, then going up an elevator to see a huge and extremely tall room that went a long ways each way. Sadly, the tour wasn't as exciting as I hope. You got through a stupid hallway for a long time, then get up and see the whole Boeing place from above. I wanted to go down INTO the big rooms ,not view them from above"

"But, then we went to another part. I think it was in the same area anyway. It was the Museum of Flight, and now that was cool. Back when I went, I was younger, and I wasn't so sure about hopping in the flight simulation or not. But I did. I totally wanted one of those for my house. Where using the joystick turns the whole damned thing you are in, plus your plane. I never was brave enough to flip though, sadly. Now my grandpa on the other hand, he LOVED it. He was flipping like crazy and you could hear him laughing his head off inside" She said, going on a little story while they waited for Tyler and Tara to get back. She was also keeping a lookout, but figured they could start a little idle chit chat.

To William, she nodded. "Okay, that makes sense. I was just wondering. At least it's a simulation, so if you did die for some reason, you would be okay. I seriously doubt that would be an actual concern in a real-life situation, so you are probably good then" She said. Due to her idle chit chat, even though she was keeping out, she hadn't noticed the birds getting all riled up. Mainly because while she was talking, she was scanning the forest for movement, not paying attention to the sounds of the birds.

Cassie
Cassie on the other hand, was, and she started to look concerned, along with getting more nervous again, because she knew about the birds getting all riled up like this. "Guys....somethings up. The birds are all riled up and so are the animals...." She chimed in to everyone who was talking's conversation, which got Caitlin's attention to notice that something weird was up. For Cassie, she started to nervously bite her fingernails while keeping a bigger lookout for what the hell was scaring the birds like that. Caitlin just got ready to fight, even though she felt pretty useless without any weapons since all she had was phasing abilities.

Jay noticed pretty quickly when the birds and animals started running away from something, just because he heard it. He muttered something to himself, then started humming. If Caitlin felt useless, you can only imagine how Jay felt. Phasing could at least be used for something, while echolocation could only make him more normal. And there were no ghosts in the simulation, and he was pretty certain he couldn't summon one into it. He backed up a bit, trying to keep calm so his fear didn't mess with his echolocation. He knew it was just a simulation, but still.....
Times are looking grim these days~

"Makoto, would you mind if I were to excuse myself for a bit?" Sakura asked as an embarrased look made her countenance red. Makoto decided in favor of hit and nodded her head in response. "Thank you Makoto," Sakura said as she walked-out to the halls. Frenetically, she would look in classes that were not running. After searching for several minutes, Sakura returned to the room, defeated. As she sat down, her cell-phone started ringing. For several moments, Sakura had an embarrased expression on her face as she answered the phone. Back in the simulation room, Bramwell was somewhat stressed.

"I am sorry, but I thought it would be rude if I were to interrupt. Now that there has been a break in the conversation, I have something to say. It is generally good advice to be panicked if every other animal in a general vicinity is panicked, though it is nice to maintain order. They are being panicked, and I cannot see whatever is coming. Let us regroup with Tyler and Tara," Bramwell said as he started moving, creating a message for Tara and Tyler," Bramwell said as he kept up the search for any animals that had recieved visuals of the target.

"We have something coming our way that is panicking the animals. I have no idea who or what this thing is and I have not gained visuals on it, but there is a chance this is a trend to make bosses immune to telepathy just as the last-time which I know you will probably blame on a 'Society of the Elect conspiracy to prevent Bramwell from training necessary to preventing assassinations' or other thing. I know what you are thinking," Bramwell thought in reference to his still active link with Makoto and his knowledge that she was watching the monitors. "We are moving to rendevous with you as a preventative measure," Bramwell thought in a telepathic message, leaving out the tangent about Makoto for their telepathic link.

Mighty Asgard wrote:"I think we're getting close," he said between breaths, "but I'm not sure how much we'll be able to see with all these trees around."

"Doesn't matter," I replied "Once we get to the top of the hill, I can climb one. Shouldn't take me long. Then we can get back down to the beach, with an idea of where we need to go. Should be a simple matter of keeping the sun in a relative position, after that."

Just as we crested the hill, and as I was looking around for a suitable tree to climb, Bramwell's telepathic message came through. It startled me, having his annoying, droning voice practically shout itself in to my head. Initially, it gave me a headache when he did that. I'd since grown accustomed to it, however.

Altruistic Paladins wrote:"We have something coming our way that is panicking the animals. "Damn it!" I said out loud, when Bramwell had finished. "What are they thinking? They know that some sort of predator is heading their way, so they start to head into the forest to avoid it! Doesn't anyone down there have a shred of common sense?" I paused, tapped my finger against my bottom lip, thinking. "Tyler, your telekinesis is powerful, right? Try clearing the flora in a straight line, back to the beach. The others won't have hit the tree line yet, so don't hold back on it. If you can, try and make it fifty-feet wide. Getting caught in this growth would be disastrous. Better to let the predator's know where we are, and be able to engage them unhampered, then be caught unaware and not be able to get away. I'm going to get up there, and see what I can see."

With a few sure strides, I leapt up and grabbed a branch hanging about ten feet overhead. Swinging and twirling, pivoting and pushing off, I ascended the tree in a matter of seconds, no worse for wear. Anyone else wold have torn open their palms on the rough bark. I, of course, needn't worry about that. Pushing through some of the thicker branches, I popped my head out of the canopy and started scanning the surrounding area, back towards the beach, as well as the path we would have to take in order to finish the sim.

Caitlin
"I don't know.....if the animals are fleeing the forest area, don't you think it would be best to go the other way? Up the beach maybe? Maybe we can keep....whatever it is off Tara and Tyler long enough for them to do their scouting.....as long as we stay alive long enough. Just keep it distracted for a while. Then when we get word we can or can't come.....I haven't got that far yet, but we have to think of something fast, before it arrives" Caitlin said, looking nervous herself, just because she really had no freaking clue what this strange thing that was scaring the crap out of the animals and birds was, and it was just alarming.

Cassie
Cassie on the other hand was just listening while being nervous, and restless. She was also continuing to bite her nails while being nervous, which couldn't possibly be good for her nails. It looked like she was about ready to bolt or something. But she wasn't one to abandon the group. Unless asked to for some reason, she wasn't going to leave the group. She liked the idea of the plan of running, or attempting to run up the beach more then the idea of running into the forest where everything seemed to be running away from....likely exactly where this thing was. But she knew that running on a beach was complicated, and being her, she wasn't the most fit when it came to running. She got tired easy when running.

Burton made sure Declan was paying complete attention to the target downrange before nodding to the door and leading them both outside.

Once Scott and he were on the other side of the soundproof glass with their earmuffs off, Scott learned just what was up.

Scott tried not to roll his eyes. He had figured this would be coming sooner or later. "Technically I don't start running for three more days," he snapped, "Probably be taking the same shuttle down as the chupacabra team. And let's not pretend my leaving's likely to make any bit of difference, Burt. Anderson's made it clear he doesn't give a fuck what any of us think, so it's not like I'd change anything by being here. I've bled enough times for this school; I don't owe it fuck all and if I'm not even going to get a pat on the back for bringing everyone out of Kildare then what sort of reason do I have to stick around? At least when I'm out of here I might actually be able to do some good."
He sighed and shifted uncomfortably, feeling the weight on his newly healed foot. The staff of the school infirmary had done a good job and he had been off the crutches since yesterday. "But I'm sorry you found out like you did," he admitted, "I was going to tell you in person but somehow the news travelled faster than I could get up to the lounge."

"But I'm sorry you found out like you did," he admitted, "I was going to tell you in person but somehow the news travelled faster than I could get up to the lounge."
All of Scott's grandstanding and explanations resulted in Burton folding his arms and half-frowning while cocking his head slightly to one side, all while keeping Declan in the corner of his eyes lest something happen.

Before anything he let the whole issue of telling Burton in any amount of time go. Hard decisions were hard decisions, regardless of the motive behind them.

Everything else however...

"Going off with an entire rifle squad to find a non-asset with no real discernible intelligence value during an urban combat operation where teenagers with zero operational experience have no business being is nothing to crow about.
Especially if every other operator had a hand in finding one the primary targets and taking down two fortified emplacements at the cost of several minor to severe line of duty injuries, destruction of approximately 100 grand's worth of bleeding-edge combat gear, and oh yes one KIA."

Burton intentionally waited half a second for Scott to draw a breath to object before continuing.

"Which is secondary to the main point anyway, being a good example to the students. Yeah, the headmaster is a capricious asshole with absolutely no give, but so what?

You didn't get your way or get the ticker-tape parade you think you deserve, boo hoo.

Like it or not you're still teaching the students by your actions, and what you're teaching them is to give up when things don't go exactly your way. So what if Anderson gave you a chewing out you didn't agree with, or that he's not exactly fond of your little bedmate? You can't handle a little criticism and decide to shove off? Then every student that sees this and decides to do the same will be your legacy, not all of the blood sweat and tears you poured into this place. And after they leave, if they get land in some kind of prison or get themselves killed, that will be on your head too.

Can you honestly say you're willing to bear that cross from this point forward? Because I guarantee you it will happen."

Will scanned the areas where the birds were fleeing and found nothing, he checked over and over, but he couldn't find a trace of any massive animal or small animal that would cause this much pandemonium.

"I can't sense any moving biological entity that would cause this kind of upheaval, that means either I missed it in my scan, it is psychically transparent and there are no tradition biological molecules in its body, and finally it isn't an animal, but possibly some sort of poisonous gas." Will said as he stood up and got into a defensive stance, while he charged up a pressure sphere in his left hand.

"I could make a floating raft of sand to get us away from the shore if we need to flee" Will said as he finished charging his pressure sphere.

"Caitlin, animals are fleeing from the beach and some of the forest by proximity, not the forest alone. The implication would be that the boss is at the beach. When large amounts of smoke have been blown in your direction from a hazard, your first action should not be to run opposite the wind. As to that, Tara is ignorant to the fact that I can read, that I like to use reading to remain organized, and that 'your' and abreviated 'you are' do not happen to be the same," Bramwell said before switching to a telepathic message.

"Tara, we cannot figure out specific directions on where the animals are fleeing. All I know is that local wildlife is nervous. Birds are providing warnings, escaping into the air while those incappable of flight flee from the unseen danger to loosely paraphrase what information is available. We know it is getting closer, but not anything about it's location relative to us beyond the beach, which direction we cannot discern due to lack of information. Taking into account the fact that we know the thing is not in the forest, it would make sense to follow your path into the forest, as the other options would be to stay in place or swim away. Without knowledge of the monster's location on the beach, the only option is to follow your path into the forest, as the other options would either leave us a fifty-fifty chance of encountering this threat should this be a hostile or isolating the two groups to a larger extent. This does not get into the possibility of this being a tsunami that animals are fleeing from, in which case, staying on the beach or swimming would be a horrible idea. Forget the tsunami tangent, regrouping will only help," Bramwell thought as he tried to further determine whether animals were fleeing away from a hostile or just running for high-ground.

Infirmary Room

The group is watching some of Gregorio's memories, from his wrestling job to the time he became a dictator worse than Hitler and Stalin combine to the more crazy replays to one that looks more like a romantic comedy.

"I can't believe he ordered to launch all of his nuclear arsenal like that." Tobias said.

"I can't believe the way he remarried his wife like that." The Russian said.

"I can't believe he married the same person over and over again." Steve said.

"Yeah, who is Elizabeth anyway?" Tobias said as he notice Antonio moving a bit. "Can your device work on Antonio?"

"Likely." She answered. He then pulled the helmet on Gregorio and put it on Antonio.

"H-help me." Antonio said as he appear in the screen, with his extremities being slowly absorbed into the goo-like darkness, sort of like Venom. "P-please. I, I don't want to die... I don't want, to disappear."

"Don't worry. I'll take care of your body once you're gone." A voice said, which personality who said it is unknown, but they have a guess.

"Shade. He must be trying to takeover Antonio." Tobias said as Gregorio starts to groan.

"Huh?" He said as he notice the fact that he's tied up to the bed posts. "I'm having that dream again." He said groggily as he starts moving and groaning rather... sensually.

"Give me that bat. I want to whack him until he wakes up. And for making me see that hideous scene with that giant bug." The Russian said as Tobias just gives it to her.

"Go for it." He said then the Russian whack Gregorio with the bat a number of times.

After a number of wake up calls later...

"... And that's what happened?" Gregorio said as the doctor cover his bruises with some bandages, a few more and he'll be a mummy.

"Yeah, you did show us that thing with the bug." Tobias said.

"Bug? Oh yeah, that bug. That was from my more crazier replays. I personally devirginized all thirty-two openings. Got the time of my life with that. Of course that was to cement an alliance between the two interplanetary empires." Gregorio said which angered the Russian girl.

"Give me that bat again." She said to Tobias.

"... I don't want to know what you saw." Steve said.

"Oh, it is time for me to practice Tai Chi. I may just not be available to see whatever is happening in here. I hope you will remember what the moral of 'Get Carter' was and remember that we have much better ways to punish him," Brayden said as he walked-out of view, passing a poster explaining how operant conditioning can be used to create or remove phobias as explained by John Watson in response to Sigmund Freud's analysis of Little Hans. The poster explained how stimuli can be attached to negative connotations by combining it with a negative stimuli, such as banging lead-pipes over Little Albert's head anytime he went to pet a white rat until he had developed phobias of not just white rats, but white rabbits and Santa. It then explained the experiment of Little Peter, who they conditioned to not have a phobia of rabits after many days of slowly moving the rabbit closer to Little Peter as he ate chocolate and spent time with friends. The rabbit had lost it's status as a phobia and even became a positive stimulus. Brayden could only chuckle and hope that they payed attention to the poster, even if the place he practiced Tai Chi was just a long hall in the infirmary a short distance away.

Tyler nodded at Tara, hiding his nervousness quite well. It was just a simulation, he was perfectly aware of that, but a part of him was still worried about hurting someone if he really let loose. A side effect of a regular upbringing probably, not wanting to hurt people. With the rest of the group apparently having run into trouble though, clearing a path for them would make it a lot easier for them to get away and maybe even save them from whatever was chasing them. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, relaxing his mind to let more power out. The trees around him started creaking slightly, moving as if the wind had grown suddenly stronger, but he ignored that and focused on the task at hand.

He extended his arms out in front of him, palms facing outward. During his training he'd found that it was a lot easier for him to focus his powers if he moved his body in some way. His theory was that the human brain was simply wired to only comprehend moving things with the help of extremities rather than pure mental force, though he hadn't cared enough to actually get help from one of the smarter people in finding out. While exhaling sharply he moved his arms as if to push something out of the way, and a surge of kinetic energy flowed out of him.

The trees moved like a tidal wave of green, violently splintering and shattering under the force suddenly applied to them. The noise was deafening, for a few moments drowning out everything else, but soon everything settled down again. Other than the hundreds of animals now fleeing in panic from his devastation and whatever was chasing the others, the jungle was silent. Tyler was actually rather shocked by what he had accomplished. The beach was probably about half a mile away, and he had managed to clear a path as wide as a football field most of the way back there. Though the shock was quickly replaced by frustration.

"Tara," he shouted up at the tree she had climbed, "I think I fucked up." Rather than an easy path for the others to take he had created a path of destruction, shattered trees and piles of dirt making it almost impossible to traverse it with any kind of speed.

Back at the beach, a few of the small wild pigs had darted out of the forest to escape from whatever scared them, panicking even more when they spotted the students. Then the sound of Tyler's attempt at clearing a path scared them even further, sending the small group of pigs running down the beach away from the direction of the hill.

In the trees a dark shape moved up near the canopies, almost invisible in the shadows. It was pressed flatly against a tree with four long limbs spread out to provide grip, fearsome claws making it trivial to hang on. The creature was watching the students, waiting for a chance to strike.

From her vantage point among the treetops Tara would have a mostly unobstructed view of the surrounding landscape. A sandy beach stretched out across the coast in both directions, a few miles at least. The roofs of a few buildings were visible on the opposite side of the hill from where they had started, the gray of the corrugated metal sticking out like a sore thumb among the greens of the forest. The town itself wasn't very significant, a dozen small buildings or so built in a clearing in the forest. A few thin trails of smoke rose up from the town, though not heavy and dark enough to be anything other than regular cooking fires. A small river snaked its way across the forest, passing close to the town before ending in a small delta near the sea. Other than that the surroundings were covered in trees.

"Will or Tyler, please do something about the pigs. To summarize, some charges are feints, but it is good to be prepared. Wild hogs run faster than Olympic athletes, so there is no point in running. High ground is a better alternative. Remember that most of the damage caused by wild hogs is from the tusk. The skull is three-times harder than that of a human skull. Most damage will occur in the upper-portion of the leg. A wild hog that is wounded or a sow that thinks her piglets are threatened will not hesitate to harm. They may be making a false charge," Bramwell thought in the confusion in a message to everyone, accidentally repeating a point he made and providing that thought in real time and taking advantage of how fast the human mind can think relative to speaking. He decided to experiment with a way to stop the pigs as he delivered the message. He tried to use telepathy in an attempt to black-out the wild hogs' eyes entirely. He tried to do this by working to prevent that information by preventing perception. This was to be done by stopping the relay-system of neurons, which fire the neurotransmiters, from firing at all. That would mean still functional senses would not be getting their information to occipital lobbes and primary visual cortex. The intent was to cause the pigs to stop charging due to a lack of information, trip, or at least allow the group to get-out of the way. Several yards away was Sakura, still watching the monitors.

"They have to deal with hogs? I would want dogs in there to help with the problem. Who am I kidding? They would need to be more dogs than just Roaddie. They are already an invasive species where I come from, so there is no issue with opening fire on them. They are sometimes dangerous to humans, so it is encouraged to hunt them," Sakura said before she yawned. After she mumbled a slowly evolving jargon that became incomprehensible, she just stopped talking and proceeded to lay her head down. While that happened, Makoto looked at the monitor, mouth agape. She was surprised at the act. As she realized that her mouth was hanging open, she had an epiphany. She needed to work on her telekinesis when the problems stoped. She needed a place to practice her telekinesis on large-scale, or a person to train her.

Following the others around, Sarah noticed the path of destruction that had suddenly come into being in the forest. Startled by the sudden appearance of such an unnatural sight, Sarah froze in her place for a few moments. Tara and Tyler had gone into that same forest, so either it had been their doing somehow, which would thus mean that Tyler had done it, or it was a deed from whatever it was that the local wildlife was fleeing from.

Continuing to look into the destruction, Sarah tugged the blood of all of her teammates in her direction in order to catch their attention, mostly ignoring Bramwell, because she had no idea what he was talking about. The wild hogs mostly avoided her, which was because she was forcing them to do so, but her full concentration was devoted to something else. Facing the path of destruction before her, she could see that all of the fallen trees, some of them piled one over the other, provided more than enough shadow for what she needed to do.

Focusing, she used those shadows, which were projected over the dirt of the forest, to create waves of dirt to carry away the obstacles impeding their advance. This worked only to a certain degree, as she could only do this for the area near her, and because some fallen trees simply would not move unless she exerted herself even more, and considering they still had a good way to go, that was probably not the best idea.

"Follow me." She called out to the others as she moved forward, shoving obstacles away whenever the group got close to them.

"Affirmative, I am 'osc... on move." Bramwell said as he continued his efforts to induce ignorance in the wild hogs. Due to the intelligence of pigs, he was worried. If a sow thought her piglets were being threatened, she would be willing to fight to the death for them. In that case, Bramwell would not know how to proceed. He wanted to ensure the team succeeded and help. He thought that it would be helpful to keep up the effort while he followed Sarah's path anyway just in case.

Mighty Asgard wrote:"Tara," he shouted up at the tree she had climbed, "I think I fucked up." Rather than an easy path for the others to take he had created a path of destruction, shattered trees and piles of dirt making it almost impossible to traverse it with any kind of speed.

"Just do it again, Tyler!" I called down to him. "Once more and all there should be are splinters and shredded leaves. And if it's still all mangled, just keep doing it. Crush it flat until there isn't anything standing taller than a centimeter. If you get tired, take a break. Even rough, open terrain is better than wandering blindly through a rainforest."

The amount of carnage he had inflicted upon the forest was impressive. And intimidating. Healing powers or not, even I could be severely hurt by something like that. It occurred to me that I had absolutely no ability to engage enemies at range. I shook my head, sorted that away to deal with it later. Maybe some additional firearms training would be in order.

I looked around one last time, getting a fix on the position of the village. I wouldn't want to delay the group by having to climb up, again, in order to figure out where we were going. Satisfied that I had the location well enough in hand, I dropped back down through the tree, landing nimbly on my toes. As soon as I touched the ground, a walked over to Tyler, making sure to stay behind him.

"Damn." I muttered to myself. "I wish we had some way to communicate with the others right now."

Declan shrugged and took the gun, carefully lined up, put the thingy into the gun, and slid the thing back. He had never actually seen an action movie, but he was pretty sure he had the general idea. He took a few seconds to prepare, whistling to himself tunelessly while he did so. He was aware that Burton was pulling Scott away somewhere, presumably to talk to him about his departure. It was pretty typical that he wouldn't be included in such a conversation. His talk with Scott would involve less criticism, and would consist of real helpful advice from someone who had experienced life on the run. Isn't someone supposed to be watching me? he wondered. He started grinning as an idea formed in his head. Being adept at pratfalls, he aimed the gun-doing his best to look shaky and nervous-and shot directly at the target. He then convincingly sprawled backwards, landing so that his leg landed at what seemed to be and awkward position. He then proceeded to howl in pain loudly, and grasp his leg, with fake tears coming to his eyes.
You're all insane.

"Bramwell, I'll deal with the pigs." Will yelled as he began to think on how to deal with the pigs. He eventually settled on using compressed air walls. He would use the compressed air walls to corral the pigs and discourage them from heading towards the group. Once there were far enough away he moved some logs from the destruction zone and placed them in between the two groups to discourage movements. With a little bit more use of compressed air walls he was satisfied he had moved the pigs far enough away from the group.

"Bramwell! When we eventually move through the destruction zone is it ok if I take point? I'm the best suited for this kind of situation and if it comes towards me or any of you guys I'll shove a pressure sphere down its throat" Will yelled over towards Bramwell. He then began helping smash the foliage down with his telekinesis.

Hanger Bay

"... total casualties total around 20% of the Fleets. You're down about 4% from last time, but Jusion managed to both fend off the Avaloni and knock the Cylon Fleet out of the war with around 11% casualties," Kara finished. She had just finished processing Josh's simulation results. For his part, Josh looked frustrated and put down.
"The Avaloni's fleet placement is near perfect. How did Jusion even managed to compensate for their arrival?" he asked. Kara smiled.
"With speed, timing and a shitload of luck. Jusion guessed, correctly, that Avaloni energy shields wouldn't handle a massive electromagnetic pulse. Hence, he fired a Planetcracker Class Class 2 Supernova Warhead MEV at the Avaloni fleet. The blast itself took out 3 Akaron Class destroyers and the EMP cooked the rest's shields. He then spun up jump drives and got the hell out of dodge to regroup the Fleets," Kara explained. Josh nodded, not questioning her. She was there, after all. Still.... 20%... Not a good number he thought. His thoughts showed in his expression, and Kara spoke up again.
"You did well. I've met admirals who couldn't do that sim. Most of them are dead now, but still. If there were still a Colonial military, I would suggest you sign up," she said, smiling. Josh smiled and nodded, feeling a little better.

Cafeteria

Abigale stalked out of the elevator and into the cafeteria. Her general appearance earned her a few looks from the few people in the room, and her glare was more then enough to scare off anyone stupid enough to try to talk to her. Well, except one.
"I recommend the pasta bake. It's good," Markus said, grinning. He had been sitting at a table by himself, reading an abandoned newspaper as he ate. Abigale grunted and went off to find the suggested food. When she returned, Markus' grin was gone, replaced by a serious look that was almost foreign to his face.
"So," he said. Abigale raised an eyebrow. He had switched from English/Terrvain to Sarvannain, the Moyle family's second language.
"So...? What? Uncle Jake is the fucking mindreader, not me," she said in a rather nasty tone.
"I know you're playing Chess. Aren't you?" he said. Abigale tsk'd, then nodded. Markus sighed. "You're playing a very serious game. A game that could get us all killed."
"Or get us our home back. I fucking sick of running. He wants to screw with our family, I say we screw him right back," Abigale responded. Markus snorted.
"It is Grace and Goltia then. And here I thought you were using us as your tools to further your own ends," he said in a somewhat amused tone. Abigale responded by kicking his shin.
"Ow! You little... Okay, enough about Chess. What about Josh?" Markus said. Abigale responded by pulling a piece of paper from her coat and passing it to him.
"Metaphysical cellular decay. His power is killing him. Literally eating away at him. More he uses it, more it'll take," she said in a dispassionate tone. Markus nodded as he read.
"How long?"
"Depends. If he never uses his powers for anything more then a reading lamp, he could outlive me. If he engages in combat or other high stress activities... I don't fucking know," Abigale said, her voice displaying a rather shocking emotion for a moment: sorrow.
"Do you know how to save him?" Markus asked. Abigale laughed bitterly.
"Short of dumping his essence into a Cylon body, no. And we can't do that. Not here," Abigale said. Markus nodded and went silent. Sometimes, I don't get you, Abigale. You admit that you're intent on going toe to toe with the man we've spent the last 2 years running from, which could get everyone we know killed, and then display somewhat normal human emotion in the same sentence. I don't see either situation ending well, but you must. Otherwise you wouldn't have told me, he thought as he watched Abigale attack her food with vigour.

Slipspace...

The man begged and begged, on his knees, tears leaking from his eyes.
"Please. I know nothing. I don't know where she went. I don't-"
"Enough" The figure he was begging to commanded. For that was what it was, and the man could not disobey. As he watched, the figure brought a hand to his mouth and took a drag from his cigar.
"You have nothing I don't already know. You are simply here to prove a point," he said.
"And... That is?" the man said.
"That I don't play games." The gunshot echoed through the room. Not even bothering to watch the body crumple, the figure spun his chair to face the monitors that lined the wall. His glasses reflected the light back, his suit accenting his lean body. On the largest of the screens was one image. A image of a certain 14 year old girl, katanas in hand, her face half covered in blood. Taking another drag from his cigar, he tapped a key on the arm of his chair, and the image changed to a planet. A blue planet, orbited by a single moon and, barely visible, a space station. He stared at the new battlefield, and spoke.
"Take us there. If Lillith wishes to challenge me, so be it," he said, steepling his hands in thought. As a afterthought, he called for a cleaner. He could already smell the blood.

Tyler nodded and quickly turned back to the swath he had cut through the forest, hoping that Tara was right about the situation being fixable. He repeated the same procedure he had done the first time, taking a deep breath to prepare himself and putting his arms out in front of him, gathering power for the push. The others could have started making their way along the trail of destruction so he was going to have to tone down the power a bit to avoid hurting them. With a simple motion of his arms he sent a second blast of force rushing through the forest, pulverizing most of the debris that remained along the path he had created. He hoped that he hadn't hit the others, the blast had traveled further than he had intended, but he had no way of knowing.

"That should do it," he mumbled, "as long as they didn't get hit."

The pigs that Bramwell and Will had accosted were even more scared now, shrieking loudly and quite clearly panicking. The small creatures were hardly large enough to be a threat to anyone, which their simple simulated minds were aware of, so their only concern was trying to run away from the scary things.

Up in the canopies something moved unseen, only the motions of the branches providing any clue that it was there.

Ignoring the others for the most part, only hoping that they had heard her and were following, Sarah had continued creating a path for herself and the rest of the group so that they could cross the destruction that she believed had been caused by either Tyler or whatever creature was out to hunt them. She was already a good ways ahead of the rest of the group, so she was alone when Tyler sent out the second wave of force out to the forest to clean up the destruction he had caused. She felt something coming, and soon afterwards noticed that what little hadn't been pulverized was flying her way. Shattered trees and piles of dirt were heading towards her and she had to act quickly. Looking around, she saw a stone nearby, and she quickly placed her hand over it, casting over it a shadow that then adopted the properties of the stone. Using said shadow, Sarah created a thick barrier to protect herself from the debris flying her way, as well as the force behind it. Thankfully, the barrier held itself, though she felt a great deal of strain when it received the strike of Tyler's force blast.

When everything was over, Sarah let the barrier dissappear, and looked around. It seemed that what the second blast had done was clear the path of destruction for the most part. Now it was traverseable. Certainly more traverseable than the forest, and definitely more than what it was before the second blast. She was now certain that it must have been Tyler, because if it was what was chasing them she doubted it would have made things any easier, and it was with this new certainity that she continued moving forward, more easily now thanks to the now clear path.

Raymond had remained with the group, not wanting to leave them behind, though he also didn't think it was exactly nice to let a girl take point alone.

However, just as he had decided to do that, Raymond could feel a great force headed towards them. It stopped somewhere before reaching the beach, but what it had carried along did not. Some pieces of shattered trees had made it all the way to the beach and were headed towards the group. Making use of his powers, Raymond concentrated and cancelled the force behind all of them, though this strained him somewhat. He wasn't used to employing his powers in such large scale, since he didn't rely excessively on them, and as such they were not too developed yet, and rather weak in comparison to the powers of the others.

However, the point remained that he had managed to stop the debris.

"Look, guys, the path is clear now. Stop talking and let's move." He said to the others, and then advanced through the path that Tyler had carved through the forest.

(OOC: I have no idea where we're at here, but I'm going to assume Sakura's in a different class than Ichihara's)

Having been off the radar for a while, Ichihara Ryota(Disaster Prevention) felt quite invisible as of late. Sitting in his chair, Ichihara took a sigh of relief as he graded a recent quiz he gave the other day during his free period. Entering the wide range of scores into his electronic database, Ichihara smiled as he noticed the amount of high scores he saw.

However, upon his eyes falling on a particular test, Ichihara frowned at it. A low 'F' was marked on it—the only problem was, this wasn't a one time occurrence. The name at the top said it all: Sakura. As of late, every single assignment he had given, she had returned to him extremely low quality work—or more often, not at all.

As this pattern seemed as though it wasn't going to slow down and stop any time soon, Ichihara sighed with disappointment. If he didn't do something soon, this kid was doomed for summer school—and if this pattern continued, she'd fail that as well.

Standing up and stretching, Ichihara shook out his creaky bones. He was going to have to talk to the girl as soon as possible. Taking over the PA, he broadcast out,Will Sakura please report to the Disaster Prevention classroom?

Siting back down in his chair, he rubbed his temples. He had a migraine. He had done his part—it was up to Sakura to take responsibility now.
