Cassie's response to what he said was to look down at the ground, because in her mind she was pretty meek and shy. That pretty much described her personality exactly, especially the meek part. Even the submissive part seemed to fit her, considering when she would get beat and attacked, she refused to hurt any of the bullies back. And when he mentioned her 'friend', she started thinking about the fact she wasn't sure Tara was entirely a friend yet. They didn't really know each other that well yet, and had only met a few times.

Cassie narrowed her eyes at him. If those were rookie insults, she didn't even want to know what his non-rookie insults sounded like. It displeased her greatly to know that there was now a bully at this school as well, that was specifically targeting her. Could she ever get away from these people? She felt like she was a magnet to bullies, and it was getting on her nerves and getting to her emotionally. "No, I prefer to show respect to others" She said quietly, looking to the ground again and frowning.

If Vincent was the type that liked to target the 'fragile' souls to insult them and beat them down, making their day and school year miserable, Cassie was practically the exact perfect person for him to be targeting. She could easily be beat down and put into a bad mood. And the plus side on his side, was that she almost always refused to fight back and insult the bullies, and just let them bully her. About the most she did was try to just walk off from them and ignore them, but she had enough experience with them just following her around and tormenting her before.

To the last part, she just seemed confused, and looked from Vincent, then to Tara, and like with Tyler earlier, she seemed to of subconsciously stepped behind Tara to 'hide' from Vincent, or more specifically in her mind, the bully.

Ularn wrote:"Sorry about the delay," Scott muttered as Anderson's office door slid open ten minutes later. "Rox, this is Frederic Anderson, our headmaster; Mr Anderson, this is Roxanne Redwood, another School graduate. I was about to take a shower when one of the guards came by. Which one of the villains decided to go on a killing spree today?" he added, tinting the white lie with a wry smile. It was almost funny how you got used to some of the insanity that was so common around The School. Almost.
"And what is it you wanted to see us about?" he also asked.

Anderson didn't look amused in the least when Scott joked about the security breach, "an unknown force of hostiles breached our perimeter through unknown means, trying to kill one of the students. They were dealt with, but that isn't what you're here about."

"I wanted to give you a chance to explain yourself," he continued, "because I am quite disappointed in your actions today. Not only did you decide to change the plan for the mission without consulting me, devoting resources to retrieve an old friend of yours and in so doing endangering the safety of the students, but you also decided to bring her back to the station without ever asking for permission from myself or anyone else with the authority to decide such things. And worst of all, you then handed your access card to her and gave her unsupervised access to the station, in clear violation of the security protocols put in place to ensure the safety of this facility and the people within." He gave Scott a second to absorb what he had said, then finished, "so, what do you have to say for yourself?"

"Okay, so the waiting game begins," Bramwell said as Sakura got back up. "The question remains of how to pass the time?" Bramwell said in a calm manner. He did not sound distant, which he had been when it was made appearent to him that intruders had been on school property. Throughout the times Bramwell had talked to Liesel, he rarely made eye-contact except when he was apologizing.

"We could just talk. What were we talking about before we were interrupted by that dragon attack?" Sakura said.

"It was that thing about speech therapy and then an odd turn to talking about swords," Bramwell said in a relaxed manner as he took a seat on a couch adjacent to Makoto's wheelchair.

"Maybe we should talk about something unrelated to whatever therapy I may recieve? Maybe we Liesels has more questions or something she would like to talk about?" Sakura said in a somewhat fast manner.

"Well, we coud always talk about the Station. It seems pretty well organized, and I'm happy to see that the guards cleverly managed the students and protected them from harm. I feel that my stay here on the station will go smooth and pleasant. Speaking of which, are you enjoying your stay there, too?" Liesel asked, looking at the trio.

Bramwell, Makoto, and Sakura

"Beside the instance of cardiac arrest and Makoto's newly discovered disorder, I actually do not mind it here. It may just be my love of space; but I like the thought of space colonization, closely monitored calcium intakes and cosmic radition set aside," Bramwell said calmly. It was those two things that Bramwell did not like about living on the station. Bramwell liked the idea of living on other planets more than living outside the atmosphere.

"I honestly would prefer if the station was in a place where that would not be an issue." Sakura said with a sort of disappointment. "Even if getting to Earth would take longer, it would make more sense to just place the station on the moon. Calcium would at least not be a major issue there." Sakura did not like the thought of living outside of planets. Makoto was no longer paying attention to the conversation and was instead focusing on one of the windows. "However, the views are fantastic," Sakura said with some amount of elation.

When Jay turned to face her and gave her his answer, Sarah nodded at him. "Alright then. Just follow me." She said to him, and then turned around to lead him towards the Vigilante dorms, but then a thought entered her mind. She wondered whether or not he was actually capable of following him. Letting him follow her relying on his echolocation probably wouldn't work. The hallways were sort of crowded and he did seem like he was having a hard time walking around by himself, after all. Guiding him like she did in the simulation wouldn't work either. He would still bump into people every now and then. So in the end she took Jay's hand and began leading him through the hallways, walking at a pace slow enough for him to keep up.

"We're about to walk down a stairwell..." She announced as they neared the stairwell that led down to the different common rooms and dormitories.

"I am aware of your dealings with the captain," Anderson said, "and the fact is that you acted selfishly. When I gave you the trust to plan and lead this mission I did so expecting that you would understand that your first and greatest concern should always be the safety of the students, and you betrayed that trust when you instead decided to look to your personal interests. What you did was to see to the safety of a personal friend instead of those whose safety I had entrusted to you, one single person instead of many. That is unacceptable, but," he leaned back in his chair, "fortunately none of the students were harmed. You should thank your lucky stars for that, because if a single one of them had been hurt because of your neglect then you would already be headed back down to the surface. Fortunately for you, I believe that your skills warrant giving you one more chance. Don't disappoint me again."

He paused for a few moments as he turned his piercing gaze upon Roxanne, examining her eyes as if to see if she was trying to hide anything. "This station is not a refugee camp," he said as he turned back to Scott, "and its purpose is not to take in every empowered without the means to take care of themselves. This is a school, first and foremost, and no matter your justification you were wrong in bringing her here without asking permission. As for your trust in her not being a threat, it is noted, but you were again wrong in your conduct. The rules explicitly state that you are never to give away your access card for any reason, and you had no way of knowing that she wouldn't be forcibly relieved of it by one of our less honest students. At the very least you should have contacted one of the guards before letting her into the station. I don't need to remind you of the events of last year involving grenades, and the kind of weapons that are stored in the armory, do I?"

"As for the vampire, it is under constant watch to ensure that it does nothing to threaten the station. It swears that it is different than those who attacked us, and I am willing to give it one chance to prove that to be true. If it proves my faith in it to be misplaced... Well, I think your old squadmates might be interested in having a live vampire to study."

When he had finished speaking with Scott he turned back to Roxanne, his expression a great deal less cold than when he had looked at her before. "Now, Miss Redwood, I can prepare a shuttle to take you back home immediately, if you wish."

Roxanne had just sat there shivering throughout the conversation between Scott and the new headmaster, Anderson. He scared her a little, and she knew that whatever she would be doing rested on his decision. It would probably be best to try and impress him instead of just sitting there like a scared child, but most of what they were saying was stuff she knew nothing about, such as the mission. And it would just look weird to try and defend Scott when she was the reason he was here getting scolded.

She was very tempted to speak up when Anderson implied it had been a bad idea for Scott to take Roxanne back up here. He had no idea how bad it had been down there; how dare he act like she shouldn't have been brought up because she couldn't be trusted? She momentarily wished the vampire headmaster was back, because he seemed much more lax on this kind of thing. But she bit her tongue so she wouldn't say anything to endanger her job opportunities.

Eventually Anderson turned to speak to her, and Roxanne shrank away, though his expression seemed a little less intimidating than at first. "Um, look," she said quietly, fumbling for something to say. "I don't have any place left but here, and going back to Ireland isn't a very appealing concept. Please, just..." she shrugged, "Just give me a chance, please. I don't have to just be useless; if there's any help needed around I can try and help, there's probably some space for new teachers. Or cleaning staff, I'm not fussy. Scott was, um, I was thinking I could try and be a counsellor, apparently Scott's too busy. But please, don't just send me out straight away."
She breathed out. Hopefully she'd been melodramatic enough.

"The UN considers the situation in Ireland bad enough to classify it as a civil war," Anderson sighed, "which means that I can't force you to go back there without violating the Geneva convention." And that certainly wasn't a headache he needed added to his already overly stocked collection of troubles, not to mention the PR nightmare such a thing would cause if the press found out. Being known for violating international law would hardly endear the academy to the public. "And with world politics as they currently are I doubt many nations would be very welcoming of refugees," he continued, "which means that I have no choice but to let you stay here until you choose to leave."

He silently contemplated the situation for a few moments. There was nothing in her record to indicate that she would be an actual danger to the station or particularly unfit for the role of counselor, except for the warnings written down by someone in the old administration about her showing slight alcoholic tendencies. Since there was no alcohol on the station, except for a few bottles in teachers' personal belongings, that weakness shouldn't prove too problematic. And while he would prefer a counselor who had actual psychiatric training she wasn't actually any less qualified for the position than Scott.

"Very well, Miss Redwood," he said finally, "I will give you a chance to prove yourself as the Academy's new counselor. I'll have someone contact you later today to take care of the relevant paperwork, and you'll need to sign an agreement to keep anything the students might share during their sessions confidential. Prove to me that you are fit for the position and I might give you a permanent job here, but in any case, welcome back to the Academy."

He still hummed quietly as he walked, because, even through his echolocation wasn't working very good, it still helped some.

"Ok..." He said when they got near the stairwell. He was pretty sure he could vaguely tell where it was. He was confident in being able to go down them without falling flat on his face. He had been blind for two years without his echolocation, after all. "What dorm do you stay in?" He asked, just out of curiosity.

"Respect?! Cute. Just precious." Vincent replied, now turning to face the girls. "Let me tell you something about 'respect'...it is a lie."

His smile faded with each word. "It is a human concept, easily shattered and discarded by the rest of the universe. They hardly hold weight betwixt one human and another; they constantly deceive and pilfer from one another, damning the other's emotions. And I am quite sure that, like me, your nature or methods are very much transcendent of humanity. We as aberrants are beyond human notions, much less their petty morals."

The smile returned. "I will admit that I did keep some of humanity's worst traits, hypocrisy being one. Worry not, for I will not have them much longer..."

Blade

After being dismissed from the headmaster's office, Blade had walked to his room and unpacked. Then, overcome with fatigue possibly coming from arriving into a space station through the earth's atmosphere, he fell into a deep sleep and only awoke a few hours later. His fingers tingled with power as his regenerative abilities were at their peak during this time, right after rest and sustenance.

After dressing modestly, he decided to explore the station a little and familiarize himself with the surroundings, at least until he was called to duty to do something or another, what he didn't know.

So, he stepped out and started walking around.

"I'm in the Vigilante dorms, just like you, so I guess it's a convenient coincidence." Sarah said in response to Jay's question as she led him down the stairwell that led down to the dormitories. "Five steps, four, three, two, one..." She counted as they neared the floor of the Hero dormitories, which were just above the Vigilante dormitories.

Once they were there, Sarah addressed Jay once more. "Just one more flight of stairs." She said before proceeding to lead him downstairs, and when they were close to the end of the stairwell, she started counting once again. "Five steps, four, three, two, one. Alright, we're here." She said as they reached the Vigilante dormitories.

When they reached them, however, Sarah noticed that, talking to Caitlin, was a person that looked somewhat familiar, but she couldn't quite remember at the time. Shaking her head, she turned to Jay. "Can you get to your room from here?" She asked.

Erkenfried felt himself float into a happier mood when his finished the glass of blood. Nourisment always put him into a pleased mood. Although now came about the question of what to do. He had forgotten his violin back at the family manor, and that wouldn't do him much good. Perhaps he could see if the school had one? His mother would kill him if she discovered that he had forgotten anythign from his lessons. That certainly wouldn't be an enjoyable experiance. Or maybe he could read? But then again, all the books he had brough with him he had virtually memorized. Maybe he could go to the gym and practice his combat skills? Argh. That area was sealed off due to that 'dragon' teleporting in and likely burning the place down with interdimensional fire. He could always explore the station. But that would anger the guards and possibly anger some of the teachers. He didn't mind angering the guards, they were expendable drones. But the teachers? Angering them would be something Erkenfried would not want to purposely do. Unless they were exceptionally racist or cruel, he had no meaning to show them malice. However, he did want to know more about the station. It was an impressive achivement, the vampires could never acomplish something like this. Not only did his species number in the few, only ten million, a mere collection of human cities, they lacked the manpower. They certainly had the funds and the resources, but it would serve no purpose. Humans however, they were seven billion strong and seemed to frequenty produce powerful mutations. Well, more-so six billion Erkenfried guessed. The vermin had likely cut their numbers down in the war. The war. Ah. No logic could be seen in it. One only had to look to history for a screaming reason as to why one should not try to take over the world. Every time it was attempted the party was destroyed in a crushing defeat. Erkenfried should know, he was German. His father was also several hundred years old and had witnessed the tragedy of both world wars.

Erkenfired did however want to explore the station. Perhaps he could go to the villain dorms and observe the poor, pitiable creatures that had chosen the illogical path of misery? Hopefully that girl from earlier wasn't there. She seemed to suit the stereotype: angry, racist, illogical, and hot-headed. Such was an alien concept to the rather icy vampire. His anger only spawned from attacks on his family, species, and honor. Or complete stupidity. But that was another matter.
So Erkenfried walked off to the elevator and took it down to the villain dorms, glass of blo-. Oops. He had forgotten to put it back in his room. Hopefully nobody would notice it if he stashed it in the far corner of the elevator.

Of course, Shade never really sleeps, for what's the use of sleep to a shadow. No, he needs a more private talk with the Lord of Shadow.

Mumbling the chant, darkness seem to flow around Shade before disappearing.

In his mind, the Lord of Shadow came.

"What was that? Why would Veringon and a knight from the Order of the Great Web be here, of all places? Were you using me?"

The darkness can only smile.

"Veringon's banished remember, so it makes sense for him to appear here. Of course, that's just a small number of the rebels. You'll be seeing more. As we speak, Veringon is building the Nox Nocti, the Night of Nights, the gate to open a passage to the Plane of Shadows. Only you have the power and authority to stop it, once you accepted the title of Duke of Night."

"I-I still have a choice!"

"No, you have no other choice. The moment the Nox Nocti is finish, I'll send the entire military of the Duchy of Night here, where, again, only your power and authority as the Duke of Night can stop. Don't try to go against this, Erebus. You'll only hurt Antonio, and everyone else, in the long run." The darkness the vanish and Shade wake up, clearly disturbed from what happened. He then exit his dorm room and goes to Gregorio's dorm room.

I fixed 'patchwork boy' in any icy glare. "You'll find no 'kindred spirit' in me, you nihilistic prick. You've got my attention, yes, but I think you'll soon find out that being the object of my attention isn't going to be exactly 'fun', in any sense of the word." I felt Cassie shift behind me a little, despite the fact that she was two inches taller than me, and slim as I was, I wasn't exactly someone that others could hide behind. Still, I tried to help her by swelling up to my full height. Thankfully 'patchwork boy' was only, at most, three inches taller than me, so the effect wasn't comical. "I'm not in the mood to trade philosophical views with you, at the moment, so let me get straight to the point.

"You don't want to cross me. That means you keep a civil tongue in your head when you're talking to me, or my friends. If you cross me, then I will do everything within my power to make sure that you never want to so much as look at me the wrong way afterwards. Don't get the wrong idea. I won't sneak up behind you and crack you on the head. Outside of classes, I won't even touch you. No, instead I will make your life a living hell during our classes. Combat class? I'll make sure you're my partner, and I will beat you into the ground, making you look like an ass-backwards idiot while I do it. Simulations? I'll break your legs and let you writhe in pain until we finish the objective.

"And if you're stupid enough to actually attack me or my friends, I will beat you into the ground until it hurts you to breathe.

"Are we clear?" I growled at him.

Before the boy could answer, the elevator at the end of the hall opened up. And the person, correction, 'thing' that stepped out was none other than the vampire from earlier. Had I been alone, I would have stood my ground. But I wasn't alone. I had Cassie with me, who was practically cowed by the petty insults of a odd little boy the same height as her. I had no interest in letting the 6'3" vampire fix his bloody little gaze on her. That was just asking for trouble. So I turned around, threw my arm around Cassie shoulders, and started leading her away.

"Come on. It's time to leave." I whispered to her.

Cassie had to shoot Vincent a quick glare at him talking about respect being 'cute and precious', but mostly just decided to ignore him and listen to his reasons why respect was a 'lie', even if she pretty much had her opinion that it was likely full of crap. "Just because it's shattered by many people doesn't mean I don't show people respect...." She said quietly, frowning some more and shaking her head for some unknown reason.

But, instead of worrying about that, she went back to listening to Tara's insults back at Vincent. What she said to him actually made her a little uncomfortable, because in her honest opinion, it was a little harsh. But, that was likely due to her being one of the least harsh people here. The chances of you hearing her bad mouthing anyone, even if they rightfully deserved it, was very unlikely.

She gave a quick glance at the vampire when Tara put her arm around her shoulders, and simply let herself be led away. "Thank you" She said to Tara once they were out of earshot. "For defending me" She added, letting out a sigh at herself for letting herself be beaten down like that. But, it was completely normal, so it's not like that was her first time letting that happen. She couldn't think of anything else to add to what she had already said, so being her quiet self, she left it at that.

Zarkenis Ultima wrote:"I'm in the Vigilante dorms, just like you, so I guess it's a convenient coincidence." Sarah said in response to Jay's question as she led him down the stairwell that led down to the dormitories.

Jay nodded,"Yeah," He said. He went down the stairs quite slowly, kind of feeling each step before he went down it. He liked that Sarah counted the steps. It was definitely helpful. That way he wouldn't think there were no more steps when there actually were.

He went down the second stairwell a bit better then the first, and once they got the the vigilante dorms, he smiled to her,"Thanks," He said, then nodded to her asking if he could get to his room from there. He positioned himself in the entrance, then closed his eyes and started counting his steps as he headed off in the direction of his room. It seemed as though he had figured out the amount of steps before each turn and whatever sometime when his echolocation had actually been working properly. Which had clearly been a smart plan.
Times are looking grim these days~

Corrian wrote:"Thank you, for defending me" She added, letting out a sigh at herself for letting herself be beaten down like that.

I let out a quiet sigh myself, after Cassie let out her own. Still walking side-by-side, and started talking to her.

"Cassie, look, you're a sweet girl. Really, you are. You're possibly the kindest person I've ever met. But you let people push you around like they have a right to." I paused, trying to think of something else to say. Then I struck upon it.

"Let me tell you about myself. You didn't know me, before I came to the school. Believe it or not, I've acted like a completely different person than I used to be, these last two weeks. Do you ever remember seeing me during the first day? I'll bet you don't. And do you know why? It's because, before I came to this school, I was as introverted as you. And do you remember me on the second day? Like how I stormed out of Bastard Chef-" I quickly corrected, "I mean, Doctor Segura's class? That's the first time I can remember ever acting that angry. I'd felt that angry before, of course, and I'm sure you've felt that angry as well. But I'm also willing to bet you've never let that anger show. I know what it's like, Cassie. I know what it's like to keep everything bottled inside where nobody can see it.

"Before I came here, I was as big a pushover as you are, no offense. The only difference is that I was a pushover completely through choice. I could've stood up for myself if I wanted to. But I never wanted to. You want to stand up for yourself, though. I've seen those faces you make, where you want to say something, but you hold back. You're holding back because you don't have the confidence to speak your mind. You don't have the confidence to speak your mind, because your afraid of what will happen if you do.

"So, because you need to start relying on yourself a little more, and because I won't always be around to pull you out of stuff like that, I'm going to start training you. Every morning, every spare period, every afternoon, you and I are going to go to the gym, and I'm going to teach you what I know. Trust me. It'll help. It's not like I became an expert in eskrima, or an amazing gymnast, in the two weeks I've been on the station. Heck, I didn't even know about most of my powers until a few days after I got here. We'll start slow, mostly cardio and flexibility exercises to start. But I'm not letting you get out of it. You need to learn these sorts of things, and I'm going to teach them to you."

I stuck my hand out towards her. "Deal?"

"Sir," Scott seethed, "I'm sorry, but this isn't acceptable. I do not answer to you for my conduct in Kildare, which I maintain was beyond reproach. Captain Harman approved my mission plan and fully endorsed my actions in Kildare. Any criticisms you have of me should be directed toward him as per the chain of command. The students were never anything other than my first concern and I would not have acted as I did had I believed it put them in any additional danger. If you think my conduct was in doubt, I suggest you have a serious discussion with Mr Moreno, who ordered the students to storm a building despite inadequate intelligence and the fact that he had several squads of highly trained Black Watch soldiers at his disposal.
"Now, you've insulted me by baselessly questioning my competence; you've insulted my friend by baselessly questioning her motives, and you've insulted the two other faculty members who were on the mission by baselessly implying that they could not adequately protect the students without my immediate presence. You've accused me of endangering my students while you're allowing a vampire to move freely around the dorms and School proper!"
To Scott the question of whether this was some different kind of vampire was irrelevant. Although he had known good vampires - like Lucus - if this one had arrived on the station with a human slave in tow like Tara said then any difference between it and the ones Scott had spent the last year at war with could only be academic.
"Further," he continued swiftly, "you endangered the mission yourself by forcing me, Dom and Burton to take several identified problem students against our express advise and wishes. Don't accuse me of endangering our students while you're landing us with an incompetent loose cannon like Rachael Redwood.
"Mr Anderson, from your accusations you've made it cleat that you don't have any trust in my personal judement and you've offended my honour as a fellow British officer. Frankly headmaster," he sighed, "I think that you owe me an apology?"

Altruistic Paladins wrote:Bramwell, Makoto, and Sakura

"Beside the instance of cardiac arrest and Makoto's instance of brief psychotic disorder, I actually do not mind it here.

"A lunar base? It would have been nice, really. Other than the benefits given by hard soil, being on a solid object instead of being suspended in a void is something much more psychologically pleasing. Still, I enjoy the location of this station and I am happy with it."

Liesel turned to Sakura, hearing her comment. "Indeed, viewing Earth from space is surely a worthwile experience. I personally like it even more when the Station travels over the side of Earth that isn't being illuminated by the sun. Even after such a destructive war as the vampire one, it feel....heartwarming to see that the lights of the Metropolises still thrive in the night.

When she mentioned the Vampire War, Liesel looked towards one of the windows, like Makoto did, shortly assuming a moody expression. However, she quickly returned to her usual, collected tone.

Gregorio was rubbing his temples when he open the door, showing Shade about to knock.

"Hey, we have a problem." Gregorio said.

"That's not the only one."

"The Giver of Prophecy told me the reason why the Lords and Ladies are doing this is, basically, they think the multiverse is dying."

"The Lord of Shadow told me to accept the title or the Nox Nocti will be complete and the whole military of the Duchy of Night will enter this reality."

"We need some help here. Everyone and their pet wants the mana elemental release. We got some Morton's Fork scenario going on."

"Who do you think we need to ask for help?"

"I don't know, this is the first time this happen."

"Someone who's good at magic, that tattooed man might help."

"Or the principal." They then head towards the Vigilante Common Room, ignoring everyone there.

In response to the unexpected praise from Tara, Cassie responded with a smile, and almost seemed to be embarrassed because of being praised, even if being praised should be a perfectly normal thing a sane human being did to fellow human beings. In embarrassment, she put her hands in her pockets absentmindedly. For her, she swore the first time's she has ever been praised, at least from recent memory, was during this school. So that was a plus side, even if she had just let herself be beaten down again. But to the next part of what she said, her embarrassment disappeared, and she frowned instead, knowing that what Tara had just said was all too true. Part of her hated it, but part of her loved the fact she refused to fight back, and just took it, without being rude back to people. Though, through it all, she really couldn't think of anything to say, except a barely audible "Thanks.....".

Then, at first, Cassie simply just followed Tara, listening intently to what she was saying, glancing her way as they walked side-by-side to wherever they were particularly heading. To both of the questions asked to her, she simply shook her head and let her continue. Then, to the next two, she nodded. And when she said that she probably felt that angry before, she nodded, then looked at the ground some more, frowning yet again. There was one specific time that popped into her head when she felt that angry: Being betrayed by her best friend. But her whole teenaged life, if not even before then, had been one big nightmare, day after day, night after night, with plenty of times with her having anger boil up, but always managing to keep it down, just because she didn't want to be rude back to the people that were being rude to her. Plus the plenty of times that she would be emotionally angry, and breaking down by herself, and other reasons for her to be angry, sad, easily beaten down, and her feelings being hurt, along with being hurt physically. So, the last part about keeping her anger, and even sadness sometimes, bottled down was all to appropriate for her. She didn't like to bring it out on others make others upset with her and make them feel sorry for her, ruining their moods, because her mind was always on making others happier, not sadder, so she kept it all contained and would likely one day burst and let it all out to someone that she trusts.

"No offense taken. I know I am a pushover...." Cassie said quietly, and in a sad way. As she continued to listen to what Tara said, she started to look even sadder. "I just don't like hurting others feelings in the same way they hurt mine....or hurting them in the same way they hurt me. The thought makes me feel like I'd be a hypocrite, for being like them. I don't want to be like them...." She said as quietly as usual, and she absentmindedly started to stare off at unimportant-looking walls. In her mind, she said "I don't want to be like the people I hate", but for her, hate was a big word, and she hated to use it, so she quickly erased that thought from her mind.

Now, the next part really caught her off guard, and there seemed to be a mixture of uncertainty and reluctance to her reactions, just by the way she was looking. First, after listening to what Tara said and seeming personally shy about how to react, she addressed the first part, in a way that gave off the impression that she felt like she didn't want to trouble Tara with that, because again, her mind was wandering to the best, most polite option. "You don't have to worry about not being there for me all the time...I've been alone with these kinds of things for years. It's okay if you can't always be there for me....I know what it's like to feel alone in the world.......like nobody will ever stand up for you, or truly care for you for who you really are and all they want to do is take advantage of you instead....." She said, once again looking at the ground in a sad way. There was other parts related to the whole story that she refused to elaborate on, or even make little hints at, because it almost scared her to talk about it, or made her too emotional to talk about and think about, so she just skipped it in general.

After a rather long pause during the time Tara stuck her hand out, she finally responded. "But....if you really want to help me, to take that much time out of your everyday schedule to help me....." She said, pausing for a bit, before letting out a sigh. "Then I guess I will accept" She said, grabbing Tara's hand and shaking it, finally seeming to lighten up, which was evident by the small, but noticeable smile crossing on Cassie's face. It was interesting that Cassie's thoughts always went for what's best for others, and would do the same exact thing for others: Take big chunks out of her day to help others in whatever they needed help with, but refused to have the same help offered to her because she 'didn't want to waste their time'. And, it almost seemed like she was having this sort of guilt for actually losing her cool about 2 weeks ago, during that one class where she pretty much went on that little rant of hers. That wasn't a memory that she exactly appreciated to remember, and she tried to keep it away, because it seemed like no matter what, she would continue to keep her anger bottled down inside of her. Though, she still had almost lost it at Erkenfried during the simulation, before they got interrupted.

"And" She added, smiling a little more. "If we are going to be training together, and you don't have a roommate already....you could always share a dorm with me. I'm still alone...which is okay, but if you want to...." She trailed off, before continuing. "Though, I want to inform you that I might be a bother....I tend to wake up in the middle of the night, jolting awake from nightmares, and I'm not always quiet about waking up....." She finished, again, looking at some unimportant wall they passed as they walked onwards.

"What was that all about?" Erkenfried asked Vincent as he stepped out of the elevator, cursing himself in his mind as it closed an took his bloodstained glass to another level of the station.
"I 'bumped' into that girl earlier, is she in the villain dorms? She seems to be the type, with tho hot-headed personality and constantly verbally attacking people. Quite racist. So, who are you?" Erkenfried asked Vincent as his hands remained behind his back.

Excuse me, sir. Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P., shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T.? 'Cause if it leaks to the V.C. he could end up M.I.A., and then we'd all be put out in K.P.

Declan entered into the Vigilante dorm behind a girl he recognized as Sarah from last year. As he looked around the room, he also saw a student he didn't know talking to another kid from last year, Sean Chapel.

Declan decided that he had a long day. He kept getting interrupted from his attempts to rest, mostly because of his own curiosity. He had no idea what time it was, since he was really still on Boston time, so he decided that he would at least take a bit of a nap. "If anyone needs me, I'll be in my asleep. Please wake me up if something exciting happens," he announced loudly before trudging to his room.
You're all insane.
