John, the tattooed man
When the charge was ready John touched his index fingers to the white rock in the center of the circle of salt, causing it to shatter. There were no other visual effects of the energy unleashed, and anyone who wasn't magically empowered wouldn't even know anything at all had happened, but its effectiveness was undeniable. All awakened on the station would suddenly feel as if they had been punched in the brain as the energy that allowed them to use their powers was violently pushed away, like a large invisible explosion. The smaller shadowy intruders shattered from the force of the wave, and the large dragon-like creature suddenly found itself without any magic.

Shade feels a great amount of pain. The tattoo seal at the back of Antonio's body's neck glows brightly and looks like its cracking.

"W-WHAT D-DID YOU DO!" Shade shouted, "The seal was kept in place by a boost of shadow magic from the Lord of Shadow himself. Now I can't feel it and I can feel the seal's breaking!" Shade screamed as the pain at the back of the neck became unbearable.

"Not breaking, weakening. We need a large amount of magic soon, or one of Antonio's personalities might be release." Gregorio said in a bored manner. "And one end of the world, you like fries with that?"

John groaned, "you know, that's the kind of information I could use beforehand." With a great deal of effort he pushed away from his desk and grabbed a box from a shelf, removing a small opaque orb from it. Using his cane for support he made his way unsteadily over to Shade, raising the marble-sized orb above his head. "This will hurt, a lot," was all the warning he gave before smashing the thing over Shade's head.

The orb was designed to concentrate large amounts of energy into a small package, making it quite a useful tool for someone who relied upon magical energy to use their abilities. The only downside was the sheer pain caused by using it, often compared to having your insides set on fire.

"See? All better," he remarked when the seal stabilized, "that'll tide you over until the energy field recovers."

Gym hallway
When Erkenfried attempted to approach the gym he was stopped by a guard. "This area is currently off-limits," he explained, resting his hand on a small black box fastened to his belt, "please return to your dorm and wait there for further instructions."

"Yeah, I'm okay. They were worse when I first got here. When I first had my future visions, during....during...something, they didn't cause me any problems, but for whatever reason the visions started giving me bad cluster headaches.....I got help here, though. I still wish they wouldn't come without any warning though......at least I got some other power so I'm not completely useless...." She said and frowned, then looked at the ground. But, she quickly snapped out of it, realizing this was not the time to be fretting about being useless and being negative about it.

"Anyway, we should get going...." She muttered, starting to walk slowly to give the others time to catch up, or something. if she recalled, Sarah and Jay were Heroes, but she couldn't really remember for a fact. So, they could all generally go to the same place, except obviously separating when they got to their individual dorms.

"Well, it's probably best that we continue to the d-" Cassie said, cutting herself off when she noticed one of the purple shadow beings in front of her. Her first response was to gasp and 'jump' behind Tyler, because apparently she wasn't very brave. "What is that?" She asked Tyler as if he'd know, pointing a shaking hand at it. During her spasm of visions, she had seen some weird shadow stuff going on, but never saw the details of what exactly they were. The simulation had scared her enough as is, especially the first one. But whatever this...thing was, it was all too real, and that scared her more then anything so far.

But, before it could really be a threat, it suddenly shattered into pieces, which again, made her gasp, but relieved at the same time. She came out from behind Tyler, and looked down at the place where the purple shadowy thing had just been. "Okay...." He muttered to herself. "I think whatever was going on is taken care of now..." She said quietly and simply. It seemed like she still was a little bit in shock to really continue onto the dorm's, or whatever they'd do now that the threat had calmed down.

Caitlin
Caitlin had also ran across the threat, right as it ended. Finally she had wandered to a part of the school where most of the craziness seemed to be taking place, but as it ended, which partly relieved her, and disappointed her. In response, she simply shrugged and wandered off to some other section of the school. This particular section being one of the restricted sections. She figured that while all the teachers, guards, and such seemed to be distracted by whatever was going on, that this was the best time to be exploring the restricted sections. That is, if she could avoid the camera's that would likely be guarding each of the entrance's to the restricted places. She hadn't thought of that when she attempted that the other day.

For now, she was only walking in some direction to a restricted section, and wasn't actually at any restricted section.

Infirmary
A guard approached the small group of students who had entered the infirmary, looking rather displeased with them for being there.

"You'll have to go back to your dorms," he said sternly, "there's a security breach in progress. We'll let you know when its safe to come out."

While leaning heavily on his desk to avoid falling over John noticed that Tara was still there, but his head hurt too much for him to decide whether he should give her detention for not doing what he said or not. His most immediate concern was to track down the bottle of aspirin he kept in his desk drawer.

Jenkins
Jenkins noticed that the large creature he was fighting seemed suddenly weakened and assumed that John had done something to make it so. It had already clearly expressed its intent to hurt the students, so he felt no moral obligation to give it any warning before killing it. With no flames to dodge he easily made his way onto the back of its head and jammed his broken nightstick through the top of its skull, killing it almost instantly.

Once the dragon was dead the station's security system reported no more intruders on board, so he walked over to Anderson to give a report. Once he got closer to the others they would rather easily notice that his right arm was quite badly burnt, but he didn't seem to particularly care.

"Sir, all hostiles have been neutralized," he said calmly to the headmaster, "additionally John is waiting in his office along with two individuals who can tell you more about the attackers. Recommend speaking with them as soon as possible sir."

"I'll handle it," Anderson replied, "now go get yourself fixed up, Jenkins, that's an order." As he watched the head of security give him a brisk salute and walking away he shook his head slightly before turning to the guards and teachers assembled nearby. "All right, we need to secure the station before we do anything else. Check everywhere to make sure no one is hurt, and go through all vital areas to ensure that they haven't suffered any damage."
As the shadow-beings disappeared and the dragon-entity was taken into custody, Burton stood up and handed the rifle to one of the nearby guards.

Surveying the scene in the gym he shook his head before patting down the dirty and charred pockets of his pants. Eventually he found what he was looking for, a simple notepad and pen. Scribbling something down he tore off that sheet and slapped it into Anderson's hand.

"One more thing, if you want my help with your...project... you'll get the contents of that storage unit in Tampa, Florida sent up here ASAP. If you have the reach that you appear to have then dealing with USSOCOM and the CIA shouldn't be an issue, but if it is let me know."

And with that Buron turned around and headed off. He had classes to prepare for after all.

Bramwell, Makoto, Joaquin, Sakura, and Brayden

With a nod, Joaquin was off. He teleported away at great speeds into the various classrooms, and hoped that they payed attention to the radios rather than having them disabled for the entirety of the time. He wanted to ensure that the students' welfare had not been compromised at any point. If he saw any injured students, he would aportate them to the infirmary for care.

In the infirmary, Doctor Moreau was shocked by the disappearence of what he thought was the staff before mistaking the people currently in the infirmary as the infirmary staff members. At this point, Bramwell was confused as to what was happening, and was relieved when Sakura teleported there.

"Bramwell, what is the code for the side door of your house?" Sakura asked. She seemed oddly calm.

"What? We don't have any doors on the sides of the house, and only the garage door of my house has a code on it," Bramwell tried to explain.

"You do know," Sakura said in her oddly calm demeanor.

"You knocked a hole in the side of my house?!" Bramwell asked in a surprised manner.

"No, I just used some explosives. Unfortunately, it was too filled with debris for me to find anything, and the Honolulu Police Department got there in only two minutes' time," Sakura said. At this point, Bramwell just stood in place with a blank expression on his face. He consulted with Makoto, who was too happy to provide him a casus belli despite recognizing that Bramwell did not know what was sarcasm. He proceeded to enter Sakura's mind again, this time in a fedora and trenchcoat. This time , the place did not look like a military base or an ocean. Instead, the place looked like an oddly distanced city. Bramwell was standing in a town square filled with post-modern art. Soon enough, one of Sakura's archetypes appeared while wearing black versions of the clothing Sakura's Self was wearing.

"Welcome back to my mental world Bramwell. You probably should not have come the last time you did," Sakura's archetype said in the same cheerful tone.

"Archetype of Sakura, I need to know. Did you destroy my house?" Bramwell said in a flat, emotionless tone.

"No, I did not. Your house is still in one piece. I was just going to ask what your garage door code is after a sarcastic joke?" Sakura said. Bramwell was immediately relieved that Sakura was just being sarcastic. The post-modern art of the surrounding area seemed to be meant to resemble dogs for reasons Bramwell did not know.

"Wait, why did you not just teleport into the house?" Bramwell asked with a very clearly elated tone.

"The blinds were closed and I did not want to look like an intruder," Sakura said in a still chipper, matter-of-fact tone. There was suddenly a lightning strike that hit a building in the distance. The sky was not cloudy, and was a brilliant blue.

"Oh no, this is not good. Bramwell, please come back at any time. Unfortunately, now is not the time," Sakura said while she took-off her bandana and fashioned it into a headband. Smoke appeared in the distance and clouds accumulated overhead and the surroundings darkened. Respecting the wishes of whatever archetype he had been talking to, he disappeared from the mental world. When his eyes opened, he realized that he was being carried as Doctor Moreau was running over. He looked over to the clock, and saw that entering people's mental worlds still worked as he thought they did. He did not see Liesel. He soon realized that Sakura was carrying him in a fireman's carry. He could not see Liesel

"Sakura, I am fine. Please put me down before teleporting me and Liesel to the hero commons. I am sorry for collapsing," Bramwell said non-challantly.

"Bramwell, why did you collapse?" Doctor Moreau asked as he ran over ans Sakura laid Bramwell onto one of the beds. The halls of the hospital were very sterile for obvious reasons. Oddly, the specific portion of the infirmary looked odd in its configuration, as it better resembled Nightingale's idea of a hospital than the on-base hospitals Bramwell had always gone to.

"I was trying to search the station for hostiles, and I forgot to stand up," Bramwell said in an oddly serious manner.

"Damn, uh, darn, you are more prone to tripping than I am, and I can trip at a standstill," Doctor Moreau tried to say in an non-chalant manner before realizing what he just said. "Uh, that was an unfortunate usage of words. Please replace instances of 'trip' or derivatives with the word 'fall' for the intensive purposes of your memories of what I said. Now teleport to the hero dorms before I sedate you and carry you there myself," Doctor Moreau said with a deadpan and the two teleported away. "Wait, why was she not with Makoto?" Doctor Moreau said before brushing it-off to man the pharmacy counter.

Bramwell, Liesel (should she still have been in the infirmary), and Sakura now appeared in the hero commons, where Makoto was still waiting for Sakura. The area was occupied by more people than was commonplace due to students heading to the commons and dorms.

"Liesel, yet again, I must say that I am sorry for collapsing," Bramwell said in a sincere manner.

"I ask for your apologies for teleporting you without asking," Sakura said as she kneeled forth.

Declan shrugged, disappointed at not being able to see the dragon. The ability to become a creature if that size and strength could have been quite powerful, if costly. He wandered back home to the vigilante dorms.

"Stunning. You cower and run when there is an unknown life form threatning the safety of the faculty you are paid to protect, but immediately attempt to restore the false sense of security when there is not threat to your life. Why the school doesn't use machines I will never understand. They could at least raise the funds to hire better guards than you 'red shirts' is what I believe would be a proper term. And no I will not hide in my residance when there is no threat to my life, and even if there were I would not hide like you. My time would be better spent feasting- does the cafeteria serve human hearts? And by human I mean those artificially grown in a lab." Erkenfried said as he looked at the man of equal height and hissed in his slightly angered self. All these moronic half-wits were doing was preventing him from learning the truth- they certainly weren't doing anything for his safety or the safety of the students. He was also certain that it wasn't a guard who killed the rumored 'dragon'- as they seemed unable to even quarantine a single section of the station.

Hopefully at least one of them died due to the 'dragon' or the shadowy things it likely spawned. He'd find that amusing.

Excuse me, sir. Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P., shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T.? 'Cause if it leaks to the V.C. he could end up M.I.A., and then we'd all be put out in K.P.

She then opened the pod and sat there for a moment, staring at the wall. The last time she had been in a simulation had been a truly terrible experience, and when it was over she had even shed bloody tears, so when the present simulation ended rather smoothly, she was disconcerted for a moment.

However, she shook off this confusion upon hearing as the security guard began to speak, and paid attention to his words. Apparently, there were intruders on the station, and everyone was told to head back to their dorms. Sarah stood up from the pod and began walking towards the door when Cassie had one of her cluster headaches. Concerned, but unable to do anything, she simply stood by in case Cassie needed some sort of help. Fortunately, she seemed able to keep it under control.

So after that was over, she began walking towards the door yet again, and noticed how Jay hit the edge of the doorway. When he balanced himself, she approached.

"What dorm are you on? I can help you get there if you need it." She offered.

When Sarah approached her, Jay jumped slightly, clearly not noticing she was as close as she was. "The Vigilante Dorms," He replied. He looked around in alarm when Cassie gasped and asked what something was, but was relieved when she said that she thought whatever was going on was taken care of now. "Do you think we should still go to the dorms?" He asked.

Sarah noticed that Jay jumped slightly, but thought nothing of it as she waited for a reply, which Jay gave her soon after. Noticing his alarm, Sarah looked in the direction where he looked, just in time to see a shadow person be shattered by the invisible shockwave of magical force. Rather confused by it, but not enough to think much of it, she simply shrugged it off.

"I don't know, but we haven't been instructed otherwise, so I think we should. I'll leave that decision up to you, though." She said.

Tyler
When a strange purple creature appeared out of nowhere at the end of the corridor Tyler froze for a second, surprise and fear momentarily stunning him. Then he noticed that Cassie had taken cover behind him and realized that he had more than himself to worry about, she couldn't protect herself very well so he would have to make sure nothing happened to her. He quickly positioned himself so he could shield her from the strange creature in case it tried to attack, but before it got close enough to do anything it shattered for no apparent reason. "I have no idea what that was," he mumbled as he slowly relaxed, watching the purple shards on the floor slowly fade into nothing.

While watching the place where the creature had fallen apart he noticed that Cassie had stepped out from behind him, but she seemed a bit shaken up and didn't move any further. "Come on," he said, putting a hand on her shoulder to comfort her, "we need to keep moving. There might be more of those things around, and avoiding them would probably be a good idea." He then started leading her toward the stairwell leading down to the dorms.

Anderson
When the situation seemed dealt with Burton had written something on a scrap of paper before handing that paper to Anderson, telling the headmaster that he would need whatever was in the storage unit detailed in the writing if he was to help with the special assignment. Getting something shipped from the US wouldn't be a problem at all with the connections he had there, and wouldn't take more than a day or two.

He folded the paper neatly and put it in his pocket before heading out to go and speak with John and whoever Jenkins had talked about as knowing more about the strange invaders.

Gym hallway
The guard had to really put a great deal of effort into maintaining his air of professionalism in the face of the vampire's annoying rant. What he really wanted to do was to activate the power suppressors and beat the crap out of it, but since it was technically a student he restrained himself to just frowning slightly.

"The entire station is currently on lockdown," he said sternly, "you are to return to your dormitory and await further instructions, because otherwise you could be mistaken for an enemy presence and get hurt."

Burton had barely made it a few steps down the hall before the sound of a guard berating somebody met his ears. Usually the guards had a reason for the berating but sometimes didn't back off a bit and try and get on the same level with somebody before dropping into authority mode. Burton gently tapped the guard on the shoulder before querying.

Burton did the best he could but he would have to look up the student's identity at a later time. He wasn't in either of his Astronomy classes and he hadn't met any of the class for the self-defense classes that he had been re-assigned to. However it was clear that the teenager was a vampire. The yellow pupils, un-perfused looking skin and the stylistic trappings that the "pure" vampires seemed to fall into were dead giveaways. Burton knew better than to reflexively go for the pistol or attempt to subdue the teenager but some old instincts never fully die, just get deeply suppressed.

Cassie let out a gasp again when she felt Tyler's hand on her shoulder. This time it was hard to tell why she had gasped. It might of been because she had been snapped out of her shock, or a completely different reason. Either way, it startled her. "Sorry" She said quietly after her gasp, apparently feeling bad for acting the way she did, and looking down at the ground again. "Old habits" She said simply, not diving into what she exactly meant by that. To what he said, she nodded in agreement, and just let herself be led to the stairwell, following him and letting him take the lead.

Caitlin
Caitlin was grinning from head to toe. She had found the door she was looking for, the one that was clearly restricted, meaning that she shouldn't be going here. She knew that if she got caught, there'd be a decent amount of detention, but it was nothing that she couldn't handle. Her curiosity of why these sections were restricted was getting the best of her, and since she had the perfect ability to take advantage of that, she was going to try to explore there as long as possible.

Until she realized that either the door was too thick for her to go through, or made out of a specific type of material, when she tried to phase through it and just crashed into the door instead. "Damnit" She muttered to herself. She really hated the current restrictions on her abilities of what she was able to phase through, not completely developing her powers yet. In frustration, she kicked the door, grunted, and walked off muttering "Ow" while heading back to the dorm rooms.

The guard quickly spun around to see who had touched his shoulder, fearing the worst but quickly calming down when he saw that it was just one of the teachers. A rather famous one in fact: Burton Malik the supersoldier, a hero from the war. The guard had seen the news reports of how Malik and his team had defended a hotel full of innocents against the bloodsuckers, and had quite a lot of respect for the man.

"This student is refusing to obey the lockdown and return to his dorm, putting himself at risk of being mistakenly identified as a hostile by any of the teams searching the station," he explained.

Floor 6a, teacher's quarters
A team of guards was systematically searching all the rooms belonging to the faculty, in case any of the hostiles had managed to hide within. One of the guards, a German named Hansel Dietrich, approached a door belonging to one Mr. Scott Kerr. Gun in hand, in case he encountered anything inside, he knocked hard on the door twice and shouted out a simple warning a second before opening the door: "I'm coming in!"

When he used his keycard to override the lock on the door he was faced with a sight he hadn't expected, certainly not indicative of any hostility on the part of the two people in the room. After getting over the momentary shock he quickly retreated back out of the doorway, standing beside it and facing the other way to preserve the dignity of the two occupants. "I'm sorry sir," he shouted through the open door, "there's been a security breach, and we are searching all the rooms. I didn't know you had company."

When the Purple Men materialized in the hallways outside of the classroom that the tattooed, magic-wielding staff member had teleported us into, I found my second wind. I felt a surge of adrenaline burn through my arms and legs as I re-gripped my fighting sticks, dropping into a readied stance as they drew, slowly, closer. Then, without warning, every single one started cracking, like a multitude of spiderwebs were being layered over their skin, before they simply flew apart, like they had exploded from the inside out. I paused, waiting to see if they would reappear, but they didn't.

With the threat gone, I felt myself relaxing, the rush of adrenaline fading. Thankfully, I didn't feel as tired as I had before. I still felt weak, of course, but not to the point of physical collapse. The next stop I'd have to make would be the cafeteria. I wasn't going anywhere, though, until I figured out what the hell was going on with Antonio, and the teleporting dragon with his legion of Purple Men.

AETEN II wrote:*snip*

Then my attention was caught by a English voice, lightly accented with distinct German inflections, and a decidedly aristocratic air. Looking out into the hallway, I saw a guard standing in front of one of the elevators, blocking the path of a tall, dark-haired individual.

"My time would be better spent feasting- does the cafeteria serve human hearts? And by human I mean those artificially grown in a lab."

I felt myself flash icy cold in fear. Unless the station had a young German cannibal on board, then down at the end of the hall was standing the vampire boy I'd seen earlier. As the guard shifted his position, I was granted an unobstructed view of the elevator. It was definitely the vampire, though he seemed to be unaccompanied by his thrall at the moment. Burton Malik approached from the side, and started talking to the security guard, who replied in a perfunctory manner. I didn't try to listen in on their conversation, instead staring directly at the vampire with what could only be a look of utter disgust, and furious anger.

I made sure I kept an ear towards Antonio, his friend, and the tattoo man, however.

"Correction- you would. And while you may be able to disable my sonic abilities, my claws and muscles remain. Do not confuse me with my inferior cousins with which you waged what was practically a world war. We treat them as prey." Erkenfried said with a smile that held more malice than teeth, and that was impressive for a creature that had around thirty rather deadly fangs, sharpened incisors, and spiky molars. The smile then mutated into a smirk at the human's attempt to scare him before he turned rather sharply and walked off.
As he passed by the girl and noted her rather wrinkled up face Erkenfired suppressed a laugh that stopped at the 'H' and became what seemed to be a sigh.
"Of course I wouldn't believe that they would offer live or even dead humans. The human heart is the best source of food and can be grown from a petri dish. Simply a 'special' diet." Erkenfried said with a scoff as he walked toward the vigilante dorm and folded his arms behind his back.
"Quod Vult, Valde Valt"

Excuse me, sir. Seeing as how the V.P. is such a V.I.P., shouldn't we keep the P.C. on the Q.T.? 'Cause if it leaks to the V.C. he could end up M.I.A., and then we'd all be put out in K.P.

Sean cocked his head slightly to the side, as the kids he'd meant to ask directions from ditched him. He scratched his head and sighed, "Oh well. It isn't like I've got anything better to do." He stretched out his hands this time the rings created around his hands made from red energy, he mumbled something to himself out of force of habit rather than anything else. After he had finished mumbling he disappeared from existence, appearing in his old home in the school, the vigilante dorm, the red rings dissipating as he appeared.
It'd been a while since he'd been down there, he stared at his prosthetic arm and sighed. "Tina... Where did you run off to? I..." He stopped unsure of what to say, he'd greatly enjoyed his time with her at the school, and they'd become close friends, but she disappeared, and the memories of her smiling with him, laughing for him, talking at him, surged back to him. He felt tears well up in his eyes and drop to his palm. "I get it... I miss you... That's what it is... You... were my best friend." He wiped off the tears with his biological arm and looked around, luckily for him the dorm commons apparently hadn't changed much in the year he'd been gone. "That's good. I think..."

Altruistic Paladins wrote:Bramwell, Makoto, Joaquin, Sakura, and Brayden

Unfortunately, it was too filled with debris for me to find anything, and the Chicago Police Department got there in only two minutes' time," Sakura said.

"Don't worry, Sakura. Afterall, the guards ordered us to return at our dorms. Not obeying such an order would have been a very stupid thing to do. You actually helped us in fulfilling it." Liesel replied, before eyeing Bramwell.

"And no, I haven't got problem with that either, Bramwell. It is normal to experience problems such as fainting in such tense situations. I see nothing wrong with that." Liesel said, giving a light smile.

"I guess that I should go to the Vigilante dorms, now, but I prefer to stay there for a while, before going."

"Su-susmariosep!" Shade shouted as he pulls out the pain into an orb. "T-that's much better." The orb of concentrated pain then disappeared. He then sense something's wrong. "I can't sense Veringon anymore. I hope its not a bad thing, like that insult, 'May you sleep under twilight skies'. If the Herald, well, technically the Chief Herald, of Night won't roar, then night won't come, and every concept under my authority won't do their jobs. The men under the Count of Sleep won't come and bring proper sleep, and I already read the problems coming from lack of sleep."

Plane of Shadow

"The mortals have made themselves even more fun." The Lord of Shadow said as he pull out the rebel's token. "How unfortunate for Veringon to be banished." He then place the token somewhere on Earth that's experiencing sunset.

Somewhere on Earth

The dragon and the knight appear in a cave opening.

"How unfortunate." The knight said as he see the sunset. "Will you roar to bring the night?"

"No, until our duke is return, I will not call evening to come. Let's see what these mortals will do about this." He said.

"The others might still do their jobs."

"True, and my weaken banished state won't order all of night to stand still. But night will start to slow to a stand still."

"When will this unmoving night begin?"

"A few days at least, a whole month at most. Every user of magic will notice the coming of Stat Nocte." The dragon then absorbed some of the darkness of the cave, "May they sleep under twilight skies." He insulted.

"May they sleep under twilight skies." The knight repeated.

Somewhere at the night side of the Earth

"I can feel something's amiss." A fortune teller said to his friend.

"Me too. I'm having this bad feeling about tonight."

"I think its every night, not just tonight. We should stay indoors for the coming weeks."

When the vampire spoke to the guard, and to me, a flare of burning rage burst up from within me. The sheer arrogance the puffed up, narcissistic, egotistical, morally bankrupt (scruffy-looking nerf herder) monster displayed was astounding. Bastard needed to be knocked down a few pegs. Or ten. Or twenty. Truth be told, I didn't particularly care if he and his ilk spent the rest of their lives cleaning the mud off my boots with their tongues. Their mere existence was a lethal threat to humans across the globe, their way of life simply a long list of war crimes and human rights violations.

"You and your 'people' are parasites!" I shouted angrily in German, at the retreating back of the vampire. "Nothing but immoral monsters, and filth!"

I hoped he turned back to me. I wanted him to turn back to me. Never mind that I'd suffered numerous 'mortal' wounds in the last twelve hours. I wanted that son of a bitch to get in my face, so I'd have a reason to knock his fucking teeth in.

Caitlin ended up just wandering back to the vigilante dorm lounge, her foot no longer throbbing from kicking the door. She tried to act all innocent and like she hadn't just tried to sneak into a restricted section, but she still had the fear that a security camera may of caught her. Even though she tended to do good, it didn't mean she wasn't mischievous.

She arrived back to the Vigilante lounge, and noticed Sean...crying? Wasn't he a teacher or something? A sudden look of concern and worry hit her. Had a student died during the intrusion on the school, and he was crying about that? Or was it something else altogether? All she knew was that she needed to make sure everything was okay.

"Are you okay?" She asked from behind Sean, looking worried about him or what might be going on. "Is everything okay?" She added. "If there's anything I can do to help...." She offered quietly, if there was anything that he needed help with.

Cassie
Assuming they had eventually arrived to the Hero dorm's, she let out a sigh and looked around for no particular reason. "Thanks for walking with me back to the dorm's. I guess we should depart now and go to our separate dorm's" She said to Tyler, giving him what seemed to be a sad smile. "I'll probably just stay in there until the next class or it's confirmed to be safe..." She said quietly, and gave him a quick wave before heading off to her room.

She swiped the key card on the door, and stepped into her room, shutting the door behind her, then letting out a big sigh. "That was scary" She muttered to herself, referring to the simulation and the real life scenario that almost unfolded within the school itself, before it was stopped. There was a few minutes of her pacing and taking deep breath's in her room to calm herself down, before she finally relaxed and just sat down on her bed, thinking about everything that went on today. There was a mixture of being worried for the others on the mission in Kildare WHILE she was doing the simulation, then stepping out of it and being told there was a breach ON the school. So, the day was getting to her, and she hoped the rest of the day would be relatively mellow.

Since at the moment she despised the idea of sleeping, she decided that she'd just keep herself busy with something else to keep it off of her mind. So, she decided to do dancing, more to calm herself then actually learn much. She turned on some strange music to dance to, and pretty much improvised on how to dance along to it as she went along to it, not really doing any specific kind of dance or anything.

It never failed. High school was high school, and raging hormones lead to this sort of thing every time. Clearly the young vampire had a problem with authority which wasn't helping things, something that would definitely need to be addressed later. However Tara was only exacerbating the problem by trying to chastise the vampire and this was spiralling out of control in a hurry.

They had ignored the guard and Burton, an instructor. Bad idea.

"Enough! Both of you!"

Burton nodded to the guard and stepped bodily between the two, wheeling to the young man first and leveling their faces inches apart.

"First of all, young man this area is on lockdown because it was the epicenter of the breach, and that's all you need to know. The guards here have authority and ordered you to return to your dorm. That means you go back, and you don't give him any aristocratic holier-than-thou attitude. Do it again and you will be spending some extended time in a featureless room on level 8 until it's been deterimned that you've appropriately learned that lesson, verstehst du mich?"

Burton didn't bother waiting for an answer, if the young vampire wanted to risk an extended period in solitary confinement it was all on him at that point. Tara however...

"And you, Tara."
Burton had turned and was looming over Tara at that point.

"I thought you knew better than to let your hot-headed impulses take control. You have one of the top percentiles in my Astronomy 102 class because you don't simply react but think about it. You've dissappointed me today Tara, just think about that."

Burton turned back to the guard but spoke over his shoulder one last time.

"If you two aren't on your way back to your dorm rooms by the time I turn around rest assured that both of you will be running the gauntlet in the simulator at the maximum threat level until after you collapse."

"I highly doubt the magic's strong enough to do something that physical. Its still early in the game, after all."

"How about the magic side then?" Shade asked but Gregorio just shrug.

Elemental Plane of Balance
