Eventually Mina awoke from her Comatose state in the infirmary without a clue of what was going on. In fact she didn't remember where she was. She sat up to look around, and rubbed her temples in frustration.

Pedro, after having witnessed first hand the total mess that had been the simulations, was glad to get into bed. He had managed to do better than most of his classmates, mainly through managing to tank enemy attacks long enough to do something. However, when he woke up, he had a bad headache. He was tired, and tired was no state to go into battle in.
Beginning power transfer. All ready?
Ready!
Ready!
Ready!
Ready!
Ready!
Is that the first time we've all agreed on something, ever?
Pedro asked, a little more invigorated.
I have no time for idle questions, I will soon lose conciousness. Pedro was unsure that he wanted what was in many ways his best form to go out.

No. I wish you to take control. Shift power into one of the others if you need their help. All others, I want you to keep enough power to stay concious.
That makes sense. I will do it.

Pedro left the room cyan-eyedly. He went down to the hangar bay, ready to set off. He was wearing normal clothes to the untrained eye, but they contained very easy-to-access pockets, which were also close enough to his body that pickpocketing him would be a nigh-on godly feat. It also meant that he looked like a normal 14-year-old boy, rather than a half-dragon with transformation powers.

He also had several items that one would consider rather odd - a small water pistol, a small circuit board, a pocket flick razor, and a few pens just in case. Of course, he would transmute them into more useful items as and when he needed to.

He stood ready.

Far less ready, of course, was Kora. After fumbling a lot in the simulations, she hoped she could do better in the real thing. She rolled out of bed, and picked herself off the floor, before swiping at her alarm clock a couple of times. She got changed, and went to the hangar room, tiredly.

She was wearing slightly lighter clothes than normal, as she was expecting to have to run around a lot. She felt sick, but she had to be strong. Didn't she?

'It's getting close to departure.' Shade thought as Toby starts to snore. By simply glaring at him, the shadows covered Toby's eyes, mouth and ears. He's not in any danger, but the room return to its silence. Concentrating, the shadows around him start to flow like water, pooling under him, before acting like flame, flowing up towards the air, while he's speaking an inhuman tongue.

"<I call a servant of darkness. I am the Child of Night. I call a servant of darkness. I am the Child of Night. Come to me, Baron of Thievery, Your master calls.>" He said as the shadows then form a humanoid being with glowing purple eyes. The being then kneeled in front of him.

"<You called, my lord.>" The being said as the shadows then move to form an image of a large thick book.

"<Somewhere at Kildare, there's a book I want you to steal for me. There will be consequences should you fail.>" 'Antonio' said as the being agreed and disappeared. Removing the shadows on Toby, 'Antonio' left the room to meet with the others.

Bramwell, Makoto, and Joaquin

Joaquin now teleported into the room. To keep things simple, he used the standard equipment that the mission had. There was a major exception, as he did not have one of the pistols with him. Instead of the pistol, he had an M1014 with beanbag rounds. The reason was that he followed the K.I.S.S. principle when it came to less-than-lethal weaponry. The simpler the less-than-lethal weapon is, the less likely he assumed it would be to cause lethal harm. This was partly inspired by the fact he never worked with TASER International's less-than-lethal weapons before, and he knew the TASER XREP the rounds were a spin-off of was still experimental. As he could see from the example of Bramwell accidentally killing somebody with the rounds, he decided to abandon the usage of the technology when the simple act of multiple discharges had the problem of killing people. If anybody asked him abou it, he would provide that instance and the lack of any instruction on the usage of the weapon as reason enough to abandon any usage of the weapon in favor of something less likely to kill somebody.

When Bramwell arrived in the room, it was clear he was not intending to use the less-than-lethal weapon after that incident, as he kept the weapon unloaded. He was happy it happened in training rather than on the mission, for he never used it again for that reason. Unless the less-than-lethal weapon was something he had actually been trained in the usage of it or being simple, then he would use it. The problem was that incident. Unless the school had clips of rubber bullets available as an alternative to using the spin-off of an experimental technology, he was probably going to stick with close combat weapons for the mission. Bramwell was quiet and subdued. Makoto was going to try to support him throughout the mission through moral support, including music to help pain tolerance.

Scott blinked as sudden understanding hit him, "Oh you meant the sim runs last night? That was sort of extra-curricular; more prep for the students coming on the mission today. Which is..." he added, past a slight yawn, "...the reason I'm traipsing down to the hangar at silly-am."

"Mmm..." Vika nodded. "...so I heard. You're not going to yell like that during this mission, are you?"

She continued, after he answered. "Anyhow, you did know that I was assigned to a six-thirty mission yes? I checked on a school terminal to confirm the fact."

A few minutes after Mina woke up Jenkins walked into the room, stopping near the foot of her bed. "Good morning Miss Kaboi," he said to her, not a hint of anger in his voice, "we need to discuss your future here at the Academy." Without waiting for her to respond he continued, "after your assault on a fellow student last night Headmaster Anderson and I discussed whether you could safely remain here on the station, or if it would be best to simply send you back home. We decided that in light of your situation your behavior wasn't enough cause for immediate dismissal, but you will be put on probation. What this means is: If you assault anyone, try to build any more weapons, or otherwise endanger the safety of this station, you will be sent back home without any further warning." Despite his rather harsh words he never took on an aggressive or threatening tone, speaking in the same idle manner as someone discussing the weather might.

When a few seconds had passed he continued, "the guards have confiscated all of your personal items as of yesterday, any that you haven't attempted to weaponize will be returned to you later today. And you will be spending two weeks in detention."

Mina simply scowled at Jenkins. "Are you even going to investigate my case? That girl was hallucinating and needed help, but when I grabbed her she tried to assault me. Why else would I try to bandage her up after she passed out"? Mina asked. Meanwhile in the hangar a teen who was late to arriving on the station just docked at the school. This teen was special considering she could bend even the most influential people to her will. Mena who couldn't really be distinguished as much accept for what her powers specifically were. When the Hangar closed the teen stepped out of the shuttle and observed her surroundings. Unlike her sister Mina she was more attentive to her surroundings and didn't carry that foul mouth.

"We have reviewed the surveillance tapes from the hallway outside your room," Jenkins explained, "it clearly shows you as the aggressor, forcefully pulling Miss Redwood into your room when she tried to leave. In addition the medical examinations of yourself and Miss Redwood show clear evidence that she was the victim. As such, no further investigation is necessary to conclude that her story is more truthful than yours."

The hidden cameras in her room had of course seen the entire situation, but Jenkins had made sure that there was enough evidence that Mina had attacked Rachael even without their footage. Just in case any member of the staff asked about it he wanted to make sure that he had something he could show them, and fortunately the normal evidence was enough to confirm her guilt beyond reasonable doubt. He could hardly show them the footage from the hidden cameras after all, since they were supposed to remain a secret.

"Please follow me," the guard started walking toward the elevator, clearly expecting her to follow.

If she tried to read his thoughts she'd find that he was thinking very intently of how to field-strip, clean and reassemble a G36 assault rifle, repeating the instructions again and again in his mind.

Mena:

Jenkins just looked at her, "I am not here to argue with you, I came here to make sure that you understand the position you are in. No more warnings, Miss Kaboi, if you break the rules like that again you will be sent home immediately." Despite the clearly threatening nature of his words he still didn't demonstrate any detectable emotion in his voice.

With that said he was satisfied that the conversation was ended and headed for the door. "By the way," he said, stopping in the doorway and looking back at her, "I believe your sister just arrived on the station. I'm sure she'll be by shortly to visit you. Good day, Miss Kaboi." Without waiting for her response he left.

It didn't take very long for the elevator to arrive, with all the people going down to the hangar bays at the time it was almost unnecessary to even press the call button. The guard remained silent during the entire time in the elevator, only speaking up once they reached the correct floor. "This is the hero dormitory," he explained while leaving the elevator and leading her to her room. Once they had arrived at her door he pulled out a keycard and the standard welcome package. "This is your keycard," he said while giving it to her, "it will give you access to the parts of the station students are allowed into, as well as acting as a key to your quarters. In this," he continued while handing over the small plastic wrapped package, "you will find a map of the station and a handbook on the rules of the school and how everything works around here. If you have any questions you can ask any of the staff or faculty, they should be able to help you."

Before leaving he had one more thing to say, "Additionally, I was asked to tell you that your sister, Mina, is currently held in the infirmary. Nothing serious, so there's no reason to worry, but you may visit her there if you want. Good luck with your studies, Miss Kaboi." He then turned on his heels and walked away.

"I will." She answered simply.

Scott looked at her reluctantly for a moment and then sighed, "I guess that makes you at least as qualified as anyone else here. What did you say you name was again?"
"Vika,"
"Vika. Come on; I expect we can find another uniform and tranq gun for you."
They reached the hangar where a small crowd of students was already gathering. "Everyone get to your seats on the shuttle," Scott instructed, "Your seat should have a package on it with a set of camo gear with your name on it and a few other things. Put on the camouflage but do not touch anything else."
"Why can't I wear my own clothes?" someone whined.
Scott sighed, "We'll be operating with the British Army when we reach Kildare and they don't know what any of you look like. Unless you want to be mistaken for a rogue and shot by your own side, put on the damn clothes. If you need privacy to change then there's a pair of toilet cubicles at the back of the shuttle."
Scott and Vika had arrived in time to catch part of Dom and Burton. As the students startd to file inside their shuttle he went to rejoin the other faculty members. "Really, I'm just giving the briefing once we've set down on HMS Ocean before we head out to Kildare," he corrected, "The army commander's a guy I served with in Tansylvania, Captain Harman, and it's his mission. I'm going to make it clear during the briefing that no-one on the team - including teachers, unless they have a military rank - has any authority besides teachers instructing the students. Like you said Dom, we're just there to chaperone them."
I've also got another errand to run while we're in Kildare," he added, "There's a former student of ours in the village who's not actually aligned with the rogues. While you guys are rounding up hostiles I'll take a squad of infantry to secure her so no-one shoots her by accident. After that I'll come and rejoin you guys."

Shade has to be careful. One wrong move and who knows what happen. The Lords and Ladies are said to be some of the Fair Folk in medieval legend. He also has to act like nothing's different or wrong.

Reaching the hangar bay, he quietly join the others with a small spot on his shoulder. The Baron of Thievery can't steal something out of range.

After eating a massive breakfast to fill up on energy, Declan wandered into the hangar bay tunelessly, and changed quickly into the uniform given to him. Hopefully it is flexible enough to stay in one piece through my transformations, he thought. Declan just assumed that it would be made of the same stuff his clothes were made of, and just disappeared and reappeared. He shrugged. I probably shouldn't think about it too much, he decided.
You're all insane.

By the time Scott had arrived at the hangar, Raymond was already there, leaning against one of the walls as he waited for the teachers to arrive and give out instructions, all while thinking of what could happen down in the mission. However, one thing was crystal clear in his mind: He wasn't going to die down there. And this thought had not originated because of some selfish desire to stay alive or claim the reward or something such. He was determined not to die because he still had to complete his stay at the school to go back and take care of his sister.

When Scott arrived, Raymond moved away from the wall and listened to what the teacher had to say. Once he heard the instructions, he walked over to the shuttle and entered. Once inside it didn't take him too long to find his seat, near the front of the shuttle. He took the package with the camo gear, examining it for a few moments before walking to one of the toilet cubicles at the back of the shuttle. Knowing that he wasn't the only one who would use them he hurried up in putting on the camo gear and then stepped out of the cubicle, allowing the next person to go in.

Afterwards, he walked back to his seat and sat down. He took the package and examined it's contents, though he didn't touch anything, just like Scott had instructed. He was simply curious and it seemed like a decent way to pass the time while he waited for the shuttle to take off.

Selina was in her room after having done all her lessons and work. She didn’t have anything to do so she just played with a hard drive from the laptop she had on her stomach. It hovered and went side to side. She had the power of Technokinesis, the power to move and operate technology in any way shape or form. She didn’t really go to any group meetings but on occasion they had to come and get her. She wasn’t a people person due to her history.

Selina had fallen asleep when she heard a loud buzzing and woke up. Her Alarm was hovering over her and getting ready to shock her. She pushed a button and it stopped and went back to the desk. She got up and put her glasses on, then looked at her watch. Hm, I could have sworn that their was a notice for something a few hours ago… She thought and then it dawned on her. “The Mission!” She got up and looked at her alarm and it came over and into her pocket. She went to the second to last floor and walked into the hanger.

She was pretty much embarrassed by being really late but she didn’t show it and sat some where in the hanger. The thing in her pocket came out and she quickly grabbed it out of the air and held it in her hand, gently moving her finger across the top of it.

"Vika,"

Vika simply nodded her thanks, and quickly went to the front fo the shuttle--as far away from the noisy engine as possible--to change.

I hope the British will give a thorough briefing... she thought. She already knew too little about the situation as things were, if they told her too little...well, even her intellect wouldn't save her.

Dominic turned to face Burton, quite impressed by his advanced gear. Maybe he has something else in mind for you though, I don't know. He should be coming here soon though, so you can ask him then."

Burton was about to safety the carbine and let Dominic take a look at the XM-90 but was cut off by the arrival of Scott and several students. The explanation he gave was simple enough but there was something being held back, and it wasn't the obvious former student line. Still, it would have been bad to try and suss things out in front of the students and probably not worth the roundabout that he would receive if he were pushed.

At the moment the mission and overwatch of the students came first, and at that moment he had a bit of an itch that needed to be satiated.
"Roger that, I'll take up the copilot chair in the shuttle. Good thing I keep my dog-tags on me, would hate to have to state my name and rank and wait for Langley to have to sort things out."

Tyler
The shrill blaring of his alarm clock woke Tyler from pleasant dreams of home, and immediately upon waking up he knew that it would be a miserable day. Not only was he still angry about not getting approved to go on the mission, but with so many teachers gone the students remaining on the station would have to deal with some substitutes. In his experience substitute teachers always resulted in pointless and boring classes, generally just a huge waste of time that could be better spent elsewhere. With a sigh he got out of bed and started his morning routine. A few minutes later he was dressed and ready to go, heading out into the common room with a dour expression on his face. The first class of the day wasn't until ten AM, a sim class, so he wanted to get a few hours of workout in before then. But before he could do anything else he would have to eat breakfast, perhaps skipping dinner hadn't been such a good idea after all.

When he reached the cafeteria he piled a solid helping of food on a plate and sat down at an empty table to eat.

Dominic
When Scott arrived Dominic assumed it would be a good idea to head over to his own shuttle, to avoid delaying the entire operation due to being late. It didn't take long to walk across the short corridor to the other hangar bay, so he arrived there before all the students in his group were even ready with their preparations, making his earlier worry about being late a little silly. With nothing else to do he just waited for the shuttle to take off.

Asgeir awoke from his slumber. First day at this school. He fumbled for some clothes, then began pulling them on. When done dressing he removed some earlplugs from his ears, hung his computer over his shoulder and cautiously approached the door so as to avoid smacking into something he didn't want to smack into, then made his way to the cafeteria.

When in the cafeteria he made himself a couple of sandwiches and got himself a glass of milk. Then he tried to seek himself a vacant chair, which was somewhat difficult due to his hands being occupied. He found another student seated by his lonesome, estimated where the table was, then carefully set down his platter and glass on the table before feeling around for a chair.
He then sat down and enjoyed his food.

OOC:This is a catch-up post, starting from when Tyler attacked the Midget.

When Tyler stopped running, turning back to square off against the multi-story monstrosity that was the Midget, I half-considered handing John Doe off to someone else and joining him. I dismissed the idea fairly quickly though. I wasn't big enough, nor strong enough (I thought) to be more than an irritant. Besides, I was probably the only one here that could sprint while carrying Doe.

In fact, I actually seemed to be gaining on everyone else. When the Midget started growing, everyone had started sprinting as fast as they could. I was up near the front before, but quickly fell to the back. I was carrying another person over my shoulder, after all. Right about when Tyler stopped running though, it felt like I'd hit my stride. My legs and arms were pumping, faster and faster and faster. I passed the Crazy Twins first, then Cassie, then Caitlin, before I realized that I was actually in the lead and still putting distance between us. The helicopter had barely touched down before I tossed Doe in through it's open doors and jumped in myself. I helped pull everyone else in, Tyler being the last. We'd only just moved out of the way before the Midget slammed into the ground, right where the helicopter had parked.

I wasn't at all surprised when a teacher ripped us up for the Grade A cock-up that had been our simulation class. In fact, when all the students that were going to be attending the mission got called back to the simulation room via the PA system, I felt a great wash of relief. Despite the fact that I couldn't die (as far as I knew), I didn't exactly relish the thought of going to apprehend some dangerous criminals back on Earth, if we couldn't even decide who was in charge. What did surprise me was who ripped us up. Scott Kerr. A guy that was, if I recalled correctly, barely a year older than me.

He seemed much older once we got into the simulations. He tore us apart with absurd ease. If he and I had gone toe-to-toe, I think I could have beat him. Twelve years of marital arts training and competitive gymnastics (in concert with my newly discovered powers) tended to give me an advantage in physical combat (and my "diminutive" size generally made people underestimate me). Of course, as a teacher, Scott had access to everyone's records, which I'm fairly certain he used quite liberally. Despite my best efforts, I was never able to engage him in close combat. He always ended up torching me with some fireballs, which would leave me rolling on the ground in pain as my legs (or arms, or abdomen) regrew around freshly charred bone and flesh. The first few times I thought for sure I was dying, but by the end of the sessions all I noticed if I got burned (which, to my credit, happened less and less every round) was a very slight tingling sensation. Of course, there's no work around for missing muscles, so I still ended up on the ground. At least I wasn't going out of my mind with pain though. I was even able to keep moving, either running or crawling (depending on here I got hit, of course).

When Scott sent us packing around midnight, though I had one helluva headache, I felt a great deal more confident about what tomorrow morning might bring. In the back of my mind I still expected one of us to get seriously hurt (death was still a possibility as well), but I suppose that's still a step up from expecting most of us to die.

I woke up the morning of the Kildare mission feeling profoundly... energetic. I've found that I can sleep for certain periods of time and not feel tired, but anything else and it's like I've got an elephant pressing on my chest. Two hours, four hours, six hours, or eight hours. If I get that much sleep then I can operate for the day or two, without yawning my jaw off. If I get woken up at seven hours, or nine hours, then I'm pretty useless for the first hour of the day, and I'm forced to put a considerable amount of effort into keeping my eyes open. It's got something to do with my REM sleep cycles, though I've never been one-hundred percent clear on the subject.

I went through my morning routine quickly, ate a breakfast full of complex carbohydrates and protein, and jogged around the gym a little before heading down to the hanger at five-to-six. I wasn't especially early, as some other students were there, neither was I late. One of the teachers pointed out the packages we'd been assigned, so I made a quick trip to the bathroom to change into them, and return my street clothes to my bedroom. Underneath the combat gear I was wearing a pair of leggings, and a shirt, made of polyethylene, and a comfortable cotton T-shirt over that. In all, I thought it would keep my comfortable without unduly impeding my mobility. When I got back to the hangar it seemed that everyone was ready to begin boarding, so I trooped onto the shuttle with the other students, sitting down where my gear had been placed, and waiting for one of the teachers to tell us exactly how everything was going to be run.
