Is that a nicer and more modern term to use?

Now where might i find some scrap metal to work with? There has got to be something on this station i can salvage... Never know when someone is gonna start a fight...

Jack smirked. "We need to talk," he said, "I have a feeling you're using this place to maybe hone your skills a bit and then intend to leave. Same here. How about we temporarily put our differences aside and work towards a common goal?"

Ooh, Leopold Stokowski's and Walt Disney's 'Fantasia' would be very nice. Would you like to watch that?" Makoto asked and pondered as she entered the Hero Commons and snapped her fingers. The pseudo-stone that made up the art deco walls did not detract from its rather pleasant effect on the room. Even so, it mildly distracted from the rest of the room. Sakura gave a quick nod in agreement to the notion.

His persistant pattern of movement across the tiles proved to be particularly relevant despite the pressing urgency of the situation. It was just what he had to do, and he did so as a knight still. As the blue barren halls transformed into the white sterile infirmary, he stopped when he knew that he needed guidance to Antonio's location. Just necessity called for him to wait for directions.

He paused for a moment before entering the lifts, allowing himself to be taken by the marvel of technology that the space station was, for a brief moment. In the distance, through a thickly layered window, he could see the Earth, seeming all too small up from here, and further on, the rays of the sun winked towards him. A sound indicated that the lift had arrived, and Razrel left the window to enter it. The ride didn't last long, and within seconds he was again walking down a corridor, before soon arriving in front of Headmaster Andersons office. He knocked on the door.

He had gotten lost at least three times trying to find the place and was bound to be late to his first class there. He sighed and tried to rest his eyes. His eyes were still adjusting to all the artificial light in the school after being in the woods for a year.
He eventually decided to talk to someone and found someone sprawled in one of the chairs. He walked up and said "Hi, my names Kyle, I'm new here."
