I'm surprised it lasted as long as it did.
I get that, but still, may want a larger threat if we're gonna blow the shit outta it in 2 posts.

If you want a group of powerful supers to be challenged, then you need to square them up against a different, equally powerful group of supers.
But a super, like Josh or Tyler, against a warship? That's just unfair.

If the ship acted like it was an actual battle, Tyler literally would be incapable of seeing the ship engaging him since naval weapon systems ever since World War Two are able have ranges beyond the Earth's curvature of 14 miles. This was a handicapped version since the ship did not consider it a battle.

Altruistic Paladins wrote:Exactly, this was not a battle. This was handicapped, especially since USN traditionally keep the ships from which boarding actions are organized a very nice distance so that small-arms cannot threaten the ship while much smaller, faster, and nimbler ships bring boarding teams to the targeted vessel since it protects the boarding teams better and leaves the ship organizing the boarding action safe from threats posed by the non-military ship. Considering the distances at which small arms and hand-held explosives are accurate, this is usually several miles away. This was handicapped by having the USN not board properly. This is why I equated it to a push-cart that looks like a F-22 compared with an actual F-22.
It is like simulating a bar fight where the police reaction is Barney Fife. It is handicapped in favor of the brawlers and is nowhere close to being a simulation of what police reaction to a bar-room brawl would be.

I almost considered the concept of quoting the post and inserting noticed issues in red to have fun with a post that completely misses the point of the statement as though I graded a short story for a college English class. You already lost points since contractions are not allowed outside of dialogue in college papers in a fact many people are not told about before their first paper.
I changed my mind since I was too lazy to be a grammar Nazi to anybody but myself.
It was good, though I made enough corrections before stopped grading that I think it was in the 81-86 percentile range.
Literary quality was something I could appreciate, despite a trope that annoys being present in your posts.
Might I ask why you wanted myunknownhighly esteemed opinion on what I guess is the literary quality of the post?
