Ashley leaped after him, scrambling on behind him, several bolts soared by and ballistics on stone walls were being readied.
Throughout the city alarms rang and crimson soldiers rushed about like ants.

Several spear like projectiles took to the air, narrowly missing her. Commands were yelled as red steel tipped bolts hit her scales, but she was too far off for them to penetrate and instead they just fell back below, however Ashley let out a shriek and dug her nails into him.

She nodded slowly, hot tears ran down her cheek and she wiped them quickly. A great mass of riders were leaving the city on horse back.
