So, assuming David sees the thing, since he's bound to keep an eye on his stuff even if it's somewhere only he can access (Unless he were to kill someone down there, of course, :P), how would he know where Flynn is...?

If he can hear the recharger beeping, he'll know Flynn needs something. I would assume he'd do his gazing thingy and notice the whole blown up CIA plane and super-speed lady next to him.
