Alexander the Great was a genius. His sexuality had nothing to do with it. Also, if you lived in a civilization constantly being assaulted for centuries by an empire ran by barbarie you'd want them exterminated too.

Caesar was the only one who DIDN'T get their inspiration from Alexander the Great. Military schools still begin most of their strategic curriculum by going over Alexander's conquests. The same can not be said for most of the people on that list.
