Her superiors soon found out that although fairly talented that Maria was fairly arrogant about her talents and suffered from a severe issue with a lack of organization and cleanliness all which effect her actual performance despite this she is still a decent member of the air-force.

1) Use Strike Witches canon nations, thank you. Since this character is quite clearly Japanese, that means she would be from Fuso in SW canon.
2) Too much fantasy, not enough tech. Strike Witches is very MagiTech, and the Witches in official canon aren't uberpowerful magic-wise. As for a weapon, I'd suggest a katana and a Type 89 assault rifle. No, you may NOT have Reppumaru.
3) Land strikers were never in the 501st, it is an air squadron. I'd suggest the F2A Viper Zero.
