That's nice. That just proves to me that the human race has come to the point where all they care about is conflict and can't enjoy, like, you know, a somewhat PEACEFUL RP for a while. And they can't wait and LEARN their abilities. They just need them thrown at them instantly.

Nah. It's just that... I dunno, having half-finished and disjointed classes is boring.

People read for the same reason they creatively write. To be entertained. Do you want to read about someone going to school day in and day out? No. Why would you write about it? There has to be conflict SOMEWHERE, else the plot goes NOWHERE. Even if that conflict is the Elders deciding to send the dragons away to train privately, and the students arguing to keep them, conflict is a necessity.

"Uggg......"
"Why did you say that?"
"Tis time for MATH...."
"But Math is fun?"
"Not this early in the morning"
"It's five in the Afternoo-"
"Shut up!" *hurls axe*
" You missed"
*throws table*
"You missed again"

Ok, I can understand what you just said. It makes sense. I just thought you meant like "Action boom boom bang" all the time. There has been a fair ammount of conflict going on in this RP really, at times.

I honestly don't really think I can take your word for it that there must be conflict or the RP will die, if you don't sound like you ever do any of the school RPs, which are, by the way, entertaining. There WILL be conflict, just not yet.

I have done more than you can imagine, considering I've done about 30 here and many more on fanfiction.net , trust me. Without conflict of some kind, they are really boring.

You can do RP's on Fanfiction.net? I didn't know that.

Like the Generation X RP, though that one does have conflict at times. If he meant more then just "Action boom boom" conflict, a lot of RP's do have that. Like my character yelling and arguing with the racist teacher in the "Future School RP" can technically be conflict.

Without conflict this world would be boring.

So why would RP's be any different?

Of course the world will always have conflict. The world would at least be better if there wasn't "war" conflict. I'd be fine with like, internet conflicts (Kinda like this?) and that sort, because that's not as bad. But war conflicts...I hate those. Period. War is just stupid.

That's pretty idealistic.

Sadly, it's also unrealistic. Conflict will always exist, since everything - up to the smallest atom - pursues entropy, chaos.

This might sound harsh, but without war we'd lack quite a few technological advancements the general public now uses, such as the internet. However gruesome and horrible war might sound, it benefits things like the economy and more.

Without war (and natural disasters), for example, our world would be over-populated a long time ago. That doesn't take away the fact that it's horrible, but it's true.

I can actually agree with this, even like you said, no matter how horrible it is. It's amazing to me actually that we STILL managed to get overpopulated so damn quickly.
