You guys are so hopelessly American. It's obviously "my captain", and it's very clearly French. Not rocket science, Gentlemen.
And you know what else isn't rocket science? Getting Goldradir and Gilbert to the Academy in a timely manner.

Thanks a lot for that compliment. I'm not proud to be American, but pretty much saying just because we don't know that means we are "hopelessly American" is insulting. Nice way to stereotype all Americans as "hopeless". Everybody can't know everything.
That is all I will add to this, before I end up saying something meaner then intended.
What has the world come to?

I haven't been proud to be American ever since I learned more about how America came to be, how many wars we've started (though doesn't everywhere?), everyones business we stick our nose in, and so many other things. I think I know the general thing you mean. I'm sick of dealing with our stupid, corrupt government. Oh, and the fact it's run by corporations.
BUT I'm saying no more to avoid starting a pointless political debate.

....I knew that...
You said later in your post that his was your first visit to the states so I thought you were implying that Fort Nelson was in the U.S. My bad shoulda done my research. The illegal alien bit came from my earlier location mistake. Just disregard it, I'll change it later. 3:33 am where I'm at so I'll change in about 8-10 hours time.
I had a nagging feeling I was doing something wrong.
