I based the Doctor on myself - hence the little tidbit about the imaginary friends and such.

I didn't mention it in the app because, well, both I and the Doctor have become acquainted enough with the idea that we forget it.

Either way, it's not much of a major plot point at all. Just something I wanted to mention.

Mark seems to not have realized that the Doctor is quite a cultivated man.

The Doctor happens to have bought a chair from Ikea. In Stockholm, on a shopping trip with a senior member of the Danish diplomatic corp and a member of the Swedish counterpart.
