When he got closer again, he lept to his feet, but was kind of crouched down, holding his wing. "It's not the pain I'm worried about, it's the fact that you don't seem completely sane. How will I know that you won't just cut off my wing anyway?" He didn't feel like saying that the guy probably couldn't get close enough you knock him out physically.

" Because right now your paranoid and in pain, I am crazy and I don't plan on cutting it off unless you keep fighting me. Now If you will let, me I need to open the area around the wound so I can get any fragmentation out, Now please let ze doctor do his job so he can go back to killing the enemy or helping others in need." He said sitting down a bit further back. " Besides I want to prevent you having to lose your wing because of infection."

He then got another painkiller and got it ready and plunged it into Skander's wounded wing just a bit above the wound. " You know, I am going to like you quiet a bit. Able to hide the pain yet you are in a large amount." He then cut into the area with a different scalpel and removed a few paper thin bone fragments then grabbed some disinfectant and sprayed it into the wound.

"The main time before now that I've felt any pain in my wings was when I would fly to far," Skander said,frowning. "No thanks," He said, politely turning down the offer.

The newcomer looked over at Drachtofen and just shook his head in agitation. He was pounced on by a werewolf that knocked him back. It growled, then roared in his visor. The newcomer just stared, only when the wolf raised its arm did he knock it back with a shotgun blast. It stumbled and then howled in pain until it was silenced by a face full of 8 Gauge buckshot.

Francis reloaded his .38 quickly and stood there as he put a bullet into a werewolfs kneecap then doing a spinning kick he finished the werewolf off with a bullet to the head. The bodies were mounting and the battle was still going on. Tri State Soliders were lined up taking shots at the enemy with Francis infront shooting at them furiously. "These things just don't know when to quit..." Francis said as he shot a vampire between the eyes as it collapsed. GATTICA Troops were still making countless attempts to break the rear of the line as Francis and the Tri-State soliders pushed them back. Another wave of GATTICA troops was comming as bullets flew past Francis as he returned fire as well did the Tri state soliders. The wave of GATTICA troops were comming closer and closer as Francis thought in his head, "So this is how it ends..." Francis fired another round from his .38 as he heard it go click and looked down but heard a roar like what a engine would make and looked up and in suprise as a Stryker Infantry Fighting Vehicle smashed through the wave crushing GATTICA soliders with it's large wheels. The turret on the Styker which was a 50 cal sprayed bullets into GATTICA soliders as they were ripped apart. The Styker halted as it had it's flood light on, Francis watched as the back hatch of the Stryker opened and several men came out wearing army clothing and had a array of weaponary.

The GATTICA troops some of them turned they're attention to them as the soliders began firing on them with accuarcy as the wave was loosing men and momentum. Alex had a G8 rifle with a bayonet attached as he thrusted the bayonet into a Vampire's skull kicking it's lifeless body away as a werewolf approached. Packie having a 12 gauge combat shotgun stepped foward and fired 12 gauge buckshots at it's legs as it howled in pain. Peter having a desert eagle pointed it at the werewolfs head and blew it's brains out as it thumped on the ground. The remaining GATTICA troops were retreating as Francis looked suprised when he saw Alex, Packie, Peter and Brian walk foward looking like new. Francis remembered them being ambushed by vampire zombies and never being seen again, Alex had a melt down and shot himself. But somehow, here they were right infront of him.

"Hey Francis...Long Time No See" Alex said as Francis looked in amazement.

A siren scream rips through it all and all of a sudden the GATTICA forces move back and quit engaging the Tri States and ZORT forces. After wave upon wave of enemy forces bombarding their small island of almost safety, Ben and Charlie Raines realizes the seriousness of what they are facing. Totally surrounded and cut off from everything that they could call in for help, they are alone in this fight with only, if estimates coming in hold true, 20,000 troops up against 100,000 of GATTICA. When the enemy troops stop you can almost hear a pin drop in the Tri States and ZORT camp.

Francis holstered his .38 revolver and pulled out a ciggerate and lit it as he blew smoke and looked at Alex. "I thought you were dead, remember... you shot yourself..." Francis said as he took a puff. Alex chuckled and nodded. "I thought that too..., i seem to still be alive and not a zombie at all..." Alex said as he slung his rifle over his shoulder.

Drachtofen was tempted to chase after the enemy then stopped and laughed madly then pulled out a bone saw and went out to the fresh corpses to gather experiments all the while he could be heard saying some rather disturbing things..

Dan did not notice Isabella was having problems as he was so focused his vision was tunneled on Charles who started forward only to be met with a barrage of brutal punches and begin dishing out his own punches in earnest.This time Dan did his best to keep in one spot and not be driven to a wall again but found it difficult and eventually they both began moving back and forth through the room until the two men tripped over each other and hit the floor fighting, neither one willing to let the other get back up, Charles took a punch in the eye which nearly busted it and rendered it nearly blind but he managed to get on top of Dan and got headbutted which he responded to with a headbutt of his own and began to punch him in the face nearly causing him to go unconscious,but Dan swung a powerful haymaker and knocked him off.

Charles got up on his feet quickly,Dan however was slowly struggling to, so Charles tried to take advantage and began to rush Dan but was tackled by him sending them both into the oak desk where Dan picked him up and slammed him down on it as hard as he could before he got on top him and using his knees to pin his arms down,began to punch him with all his might hitting Charles so hard it felt like he was going to break his hands.

With a supreme effort she stands up and finds a way to bar the door so that no one can get inside. As the powerful punches work on Charles and through him her, she is once again driven to her knees. She pictures a little apartment in Kentucky, the place in this life that had her happiest memories and keeps that picture firmly in her mind.
