Generation-X: Damnation

After the song finishes, Liza smiles and claps loudly. The kids all get a turn, and everyone is encouraged to get up on the table and have a lot of fun. The only that gets away with not getting up there is the new guy, who Liza feels would not respond well to such a move.

As the day winds down she smiles as people start to leave and she slowly starts to pack things away. Moving all the presents into the back of Travis' truck, hoping he won't mind taking them back to the house for her. The twins, helps their mom for as long as they can before they pass out under one of the trees in the park. All the left over food, Liza smiles as she painfully makes her way over to a group of homeless people sitting at another table across the park.

"There is a lot of left over food from our party and it is still good, feel free to enjoy it", she says to them with her soft twang coming out from being so dead beat tired.
They all nod and thank her, as she turns to head back towards her babies. Manny and Carl take one of the twins each and head over towards their cars, ready to take them home for Liza. With a very tired sigh she smiles and nods at them.

As they pull away she sits down at an empty and now cleaned off table and puts her head down, she softly cries.

She decided to join everyone in the fun on the table. All the dancing and singing with everyone started to make her worn out after a while, and she went off to do less active stuff.

She said goodbye to some people, quite sleepily, and smiled at others as they left. She went and helped load up the truck for Liza, feeling like she still had a bit of energy to at least do something. She smiled when Liza went and gave the homeless people the rest of the food.

After everything started to finish up, she sighed, then let out a big yawn. She was clearly tired from the day, but at the same time she had a lot of fun. She saw that Liza was by herself and looked like she was crying, and a look of concern came across her face. She went over to the table where Liza was and said while putting her hand on Liza's shoulder "Are you ok Liza?", truly looking concerned for her.

She wasn't entirely sure if she never would, she just knew right now thats how she felt about it. "It was a blast! I loved the dancing, and I think I found a new hobby" She said, grinning.

Simon looked slightly embarassed by the aplause and stuff. To electra, he said, "I wrote an album. 'Don't know if I'm going to try and get it published though."

Simon didn't join in with the dancing, but instead enjoyed watching everyone else.

He helped with the clean up, then went and passed out under a tree with the Twins, having worn himself out.

When he officialy asked the question, she really started to blush and turn red, but said excitedly "Yes, yes! Yes I do!". She went up to him and gave him a big hug while smiling happily, and said, "When and where?". She was secretly waiting for him to ask her out to dinner for a while now, so it made her really happy when he did and it confirmed he felt a liking towards her like she felt towards him.

Liza sat there smiling at them, happy to see them both so happy. She reaches up and grabs both her necklaces.

Liza, does her normal thing of getting up before dawn. She quietly leaves the house and heads to her special spot at the river. She sits down and pulls out her journal, having picked up this habit once again.

Date July 15th 2018
Yesterday was the Twins birthday and it was a day full of fun and activity for everyone. Although I find that I am growing more and more detached from my emotions again but the Twins always bring them out for me, at least I have them and the new baby on the way. The doctor can't seem to get a good read on the ultra sounds to tell if I am having a girl or a boy so that will certainly be a surprise to everyone, me included it seems. We have a new head administrator at the VA hospital and I am noticing a few things, I think it is time for me to start a personal log and see if what I think is going on actually is before I try to get some help. I miss my husband and I am starting to wonder if he honestly was stating a fact to me instead of acting, I just don't know anything these days and it drives me crazy to think that maybe I have not grown up like he said, and that possibly that has driven him away. My thoughts are so scattered that sometimes I wonder if I am going crazy, oh well maybe one day the answers will come to me. How much hope can one carry through life? Oh well again another question that only time will be able to answer. Anyway I do know that I will keep my promise to him because I just can't picture me with anyone else. Mike seems nice enough but he seems more like the big brother that I never had, but then a lot of people feel that way for me, if not older then younger, but in the end Ohana. Anyway I need to get home and make sure that this Sunday is a great day, back to work tomorrow.

She closes her journal and gets back in the car, after making her wish once again. She drives home and makes breakfast for everyone in the house and enough for anyone that should stop by.

Electra woke up early and was amazed at how well she slept. She thought that knowing she was pretty much going out on a date with Cody tonight would keep her awake, but to her suprise she slept through the whole night. She was excited to be going on a date with Cody, but at the same time, like most anyone would be, she was nervous, nervous she'd make a fool of herself and just in general. Who knows what could happen.

She got out of her king-sized bed she had for herself for whatever reason and got dressed into her clothes for today, though she decided she would probably change into something nicer for the date. She went into her kitchen and got herself a boring meal of a bowl of cereal and went out into her living room and turned on her giant TV. She flipped through channel after channel of crap she didn't give a crap to watch, then just decided to stop on CNN News to see if anything worthwhile was happening. She needed something to do to occupy her mind for now, figuring it was too early to go over to Cody's, and didn't really want to go over to his house yet since it was still over 12 hours until they likely left.

Karl Rolled out of his double bed at 6:00, shaved, dressed in his b-class and walked to his car. He was working in times square he could eat there. As he pulled into the street he wondered why the army had him here.

[Corrian]

There was nothing worth watching on CNN, so Electra just turned off the TV and just stared at the TV, or more like through the TV. She was just getting lost in thought, not sure what else to do currently.

After an awful long time of staring through the TV, she stood up again and went to one of her rooms, which she converted into a library and grabbed a book, then went outside in the nice morning fresh air to read. She sat down on a chair on her porch and sighed, enjoying the feel of the nice morning air. She then opened up her book and started to read it.

[July 14th (Pre-Time Skip)]

John drove to the bar and got their before 8PM, He walked in and grabbed a seat in the far corner at an empty table and ordered a beer. He sat there quietly drinking his beer, Until a guy popped in a song on the radio, It was [Nirvana - Lake Of Fire] He then walked up to John and took a seat across from him. "Hey John..." The man said with a smile on his face. John instantly recognized him, "Colonel Lewis, Haven't seen you since you were on the team, Now i hear your the pencil pusher for General Conley...." John said kidding around.

Colonel Lewis, "Funny, Real Funny John..." He replied

John, "I know.... What is it you wanted...." He asked

Colonel Lewis, "I know why they took you from your family, I know they are using you, And i'm going to help you get back to Liza and the kids, Aswell as maybe get you the hell out of the Corps." He said with a grim face pulling a folder out his Satchel.

John, "Really?" He asked surprised.

Colonel Lewis, "Okay, On September 18th, This year, Defense Secretary Jones, The General Only known as X, And Some Other Guy known as Nikolai Petrov. Planned on Assassinating President Ron Paul, Then Vice President Romney will take office, Find out the Assassin was Russian, And we'll invade Russia... Now the President and VP know nothing of this... For fact, Take this folder with you and get the fuck out of here, Head back to the hotel, And study it... Good luck John, And if i don't ever see you again, I'll see ya in hell.... Horah , And Semper Fi!" He said to John getting up and walking away, Not long after John got up and walked off going back to the Hotel himself...

[The next day]

John sat on his hotel bed reading the folder very well, Making sure to memorize every detail, And every once and awhile he would glance at his Family photo he kept on the night stand.

Simon had slept in the park untill it closed, then went home and imediatly fell asleep.

Simon woke up and yawned. Man, he'd worn himself out a lot yesterday. He got up and changed his clothes, He put on a pair of black leather pants (In summmer.....) and a whit short sleee shirt with complecated designs on it. He then went downstairs and had some cereal, then started playing soem guitar, wondering what all was going to happen today.

After asking Electra out, he'd gone home and started working on some fireworks before going to bed.

Cody sighed and pulled his blankets over his head. He'd had a restless sleep last night, and now, early in the morning, he couldn't fall asleep. He sighed again and sat up, thinking.

Liza sits in her room, holding a picture of John and wishing she had answers. From the dark recesses of her mind the insecurities that no one has ever seen here in NYC start to come forth, her hazel eyes look to the sky seeking something, anything to give her hope. She feels it all fading away from her and she pulls in a shaky breath, then she lays the picture aside and stands up. Putting a hand to her lower back she eases around the chair in front of the window and walks out of her room, her smile back in place and no indication of what is running through her mind.

John Jr., is standing at his open bedroom door with his small arms crossed, "So mommy where did you go so early today?"
Liza, looking at him, "I went to a special place"
John Jr., "Yeah and who did you see in your 'special' place?", he asks her bluntly.
Liza, her brow wrinkling a bit, "You have no right to question me about that", she responds back firmly.
John Jr., "Yes I do, if you are leaving us then we have a right to know...", he stomps his foot at her.
Liza, "Young man what makes you think I would ever leave you?", she walks up to him and kneels down slowly in front of him.
John Jr., "because Kevin's mom did, she went to her special place and one day just didn't come back", he looks at her with a mix of anger and fear.
Liza, "and do I look like Kevin's mom? I would never leave you and Shara or your little brother or sister", she says to him, rubbing her stomach.
John Jr., looking her straight in the eye, "So you will always be our mommy?", he asks her softly, reaching out to touch her stomach. He smiles as the baby kicks his hand.
Liza, "I am your mommy now and forever, I pinky promise", she says to him while holding out her pinky to him.
John Jr., hooking his pinky with hers, nods then throws himself into her arms, "Mommy when is Daddy coming home?"
Liza, rubbing his head with a gentle hand, "I don't know baby, I wish I knew", she responds back, closing her eyes against the tears that had suddenly appeared.
Shara, coming out of her room, and walking up to hug them both, "Does Daddy still love us mommy?", she voices her fear.
Liza, "Oh honey he loves you more than you will ever know", she says reaching back with one hand to hug her daughter.
Shara, "Then we wait for Daddy like we do", she sighs against her mother's neck.
Liza, "Yes love we wait for Daddy like we have always done"

With the help of the Twins, Liza gets up off the floor and they head downstairs to the kitchen to make something to eat.

Alex exits his room and enters the kitchen opening the fridge and grabbing a soda and sitting down at the table opening the soda and drinking some seeing John Jr out and about. He sits there and sips his soda reading some newspaper

John Jr., runs up and sits on Alex's lap, "I am doing alright", he says with a nod.
Liza grabs the stuff out to make some pancakes, "I don't care how late in the day it is, pancakes are always good", she says with a small laugh.
Shara, "I like pancakes, may I help?"
Liza, "Sure thing you know where you step stool is"

Shara, grabbing a small step stool sets it next to her mom and starts helping make the pancakes.
