Generation-X: Damnation

[Corrian]

Simon sqeezed her shoulder gently and smiled. "That's good," he said after Cherie translated. "I wonder when Liza will be here."

More people showed up, friends from the Daycare and from the Dojo where Shara and John Jr. were taking their TKD classes. A 10 year old boy and his dad showed up, although unknown to those from the Daycare, they seemed to be well known to the Dojo people. The boy looks to almost be angry about life, to anyone paying any attention, much like his father. The TKD Sensi is Carl's friend Mike, who some people seem to think has a special interest in Liza.

Liza and the Twins come out the front door of the house and start walking towards the park, the Twins have no idea what is going on. As they get closer to the park, living about five blocks from it, they notice all the balloons and people at the park already. It has gone onto the noon hour already, they had been born at this time, when they stop and look up at Liza with huge grins on their faces. She gives them a gentle nod and they whoop and holler a bit and race the last two blocks to the park.

Liza, sighs a bit and slowly makes her way there, still wearing her shorts and one of John's T-shirts. Just as she gets there Marty and the Brooklyn Babes pull up in two cars and get out with gifts and more food. Liza just shakes her head with a laugh as she steps up to the entrance to the park.

Electra just went wide-eyed at the tons of people showing up. She continued to smile at them though, but gave Cody a quick look of concern for him, since she knew that was an awful lot of people for him. She just stood there, watching as everyone did whatever they did. It seemed as if her socialness was on the process of coming back to her, but she still dcided to just watch instead of engaging in conversation.

Simon took his arm from around Claire's shoulders and said," I'll be right back," Then walked over to Liza.

"Hey, Liza," He said, smiling. He pulled a smal square box out of his pocket and handed it to her. "I got you something when I was shoping the other day. I thought it's be something you'd like."

"Oh thank you Simon", Liza says with a smile at him, "but really I need to sit down...", she takes a bit of a breath and heads towards a bench to have a seat, she then opens the box to see what is in it.

Simon took his arm from around Claire's shoulders and said," I'll be right back," Then walked over to Liza.

"Hey, Liza," He said, smiling. He pulled a smal square box out of his pocket and handed it to her. "I got you something when I was shoping the other day. I thought it's be something you'd like."

"Oh thank you Simon", Liza says with a smile at him, "but really I need to sit down...", she takes a bit of a breath and heads towards a bench to have a seat, she then opens the box to see what is in it.

"You're welcome," He said, following her over to the bench then sitting next to her.

Inside the box was a green Irish Wishing stone on a string, making it a necklace.

She came back a little bit later and handed him the bottle of Calms and a thing of bottled water and said apologetically "The waters a little warm, sorry, but it'll have to do".

John looked at his watch and got out of his truck, He went to the back and pulled back a blue tarp, Revealing a crap load of presents, Just moments later Travis pulls up next to the Truck, In his own Pickup.

Travis, "Man, I don't completely understand, Afterall i was told the short version, But it better be good why you can't go to your own kids birthday..." He said walking to John's Truck bed.

John, " It is a good reason, But help me load these into yours..." He said as he began moving all of them over to Travis' Truck.

After they loiaded them all up, Travis hopped back into the truck, And John into his. They exchanged good byes, And Travis drove over to the party spot of the park.

John just kept looking through his binoculars, Travis began unloading all of the presents onto the table.

Liza, smiling, "Hey nothing wrong with being a nerd, we have a candy named after us....", she says with a bit of a laugh, then she sighs a bit, "I don't know seems that the more he hangs out with Kevin the more he seems to be getting angry with me", she shakes her head a bit and slowly gets up to go help unload the presents from the back of Travis' truck.

"Nope, nothing wrong with that at all....Wouldn't it be awesome if you had enough TVs to hook them all up at once?" He laughed. He then looked at Liza and said,"that sounds like he's hanging out with the wrong kind of friends if you ask me. Bad influence. We should probably look into it before he starts getting Jr. to smoke or something," He said, joking on the last part. He got up and help then finish unloading.

(I think you just made a post of my dream birthday, Glugerstut. If I got ALL of those consoles, PLUS the games, I would officially declare I have no life)

Electra saw that some people went over to this truck to help unload stuff, and what she saw coming out of it suprised her. It looked like there was a LOT of stuff. She decided to stay in her standing position though, deciding that if she was needed for help, they could ask her. That may of sounded a little rude, but from the looks of it they had it covered, so she figured she'd just be in the way.

"Thanks," Cody, said, taking the pills with the water. He saw Travis drive up with the truck full of games and nearly spit out his water. "Whoa," He muttered.

John Jr., "I think I will go sit somewhere with Kevin", he turns to leave the group, but Liza catches him by the arm.
"No", she says to him, "you are not sitting with Kevin", Liza looks over to Kevin, who is still smirking.
Carl, walks up to Kevin's dad and says, "Honestly as much as it would be nice for you to stay, I think you should consider taking your son and leaving"
Mike walks up to stand next to Carl, "Yes that might be a very good idea"
Kevin's dad looks at the guys, then turns to look at Kevin who had changed expressions to looking just a bit sad, "really, you know my son is going through a bad time with his mother leaving us and all", he says while turning back around to look at Mike, "and now you want him to leave a friends party?"
Mike, with a nod of his head, "Yes actually I would, considering that your son is not as innocent as he likes to have you think", he looks over at Kevin, "and come in on Monday because we are certainly going to be having a talk"

Kevin and his dad leave, and John Jr. stays angry for a bit then seems to lighten up and starts having fun with everyone.

Mike, "it seems that Kevin is now hating woman rather badly, in fact I am going to be dropping him from the TKD classes because he has started enjoying to much sparring with the girls and hurting them", he gently squeezes Liza's shoulder, "and unfortuently it seems that if he thinks someone is happy with their mother's then he needs to set them 'straight' and I think that is what is going on with John Jr. and him"
Liza, "Then he stays away from my son until he gets the help he needs"
Connie, walking up with a plate of food for Liza, "Agreed, I am happy to note he is not one of my Daycare kids....."

Karl got off the bench, and walked back to his place,cursing and wondering. 'I tried to help that sonofabitch but he just threw it back in my face, then he got her killed' he thought as he unlocked the door.

Mrs. Harrison watches the young man she had tried to talk with get up and leave the park, she shrugs and walks back over to the group. Standing near one of the Brooklyn Babes she comments.

"Young people can be so rude these days", she sighs.
"Tell me about it", says Camilla aka Butch of the BB's.
"I am glad that Liza doesn't let that happen with the Twins", she says with a laugh.
"No joke", Camilla laughs, "So how you doing Ma?"
"Eh you know could be better, could be worse, but doing alright for the most part", Mrs. Harrison laughs.

Liza, after sitting for a bit wanders over to the playground area where the kids are playing and sits sideways on the teeter totter. Carl, Manny, and Mike grin at each other and rush over to grab the side up in the air and pretend to struggle to try to lift her off the ground.

"Liza you weigh as much as a baby whale", Carl says grunting a lot.
Liza's eyes go wide and she moves to get off her seat, "Baby whale? I am so going to...", she is responding with laughter.
The guys quickly get her up in the air, and her feet start swinging out, "put me down you...oh I am so getting you back brother type person dear", she yells with laughter.
Manny, "now Liza honey being angry is not good for the baby.....", he tries not to choke on his laughter.
"Oh daddy type person I am so going to......", she says thinking about jumping down, she then quits thinking and does it, landing on her feet with a soft grunt as she waddles quickly towards one of the tables.
Connie, seeing what is going on goes to the water gun table and takes from under it a super soaker, not like Electra's but more of a rifle style one, primes it and when Liza gets close enough she tosses to her. Liza spins around and drops to one knee and fires at the guys catching them full on with a powerful spray of water. All three of the guys laugh harder as the water hits them and the fight is on.

All the kids watched what had happened and all race towards the table to grab a water pistol, screaming with laughter and giggles they start aiming for anyone and everyone.

John Jr., laughing runs behind Liza and she laughs as she gets hit with water from peoples water guns. She primes up her water rifle and just starts turning in a circle getting anyone in the line of fire wet.
