2.) That bit about multi-platforming is utter bullshit. The DS is the second best selling video game console OF ALL TIME. As in ever.

DS = Handheld.

I'm calling it: The PlayStation 4 will be the next PS2, and will print money even faster than Nintendo.

Not likely.

Considering the Wii U isn't all that impressive, it very well may. Touchscreens on a console controller, in my mind, are just a gimmick, and could actually be rather distracting unless you can turn it off. And, besides, despite the Wii's commercial success, it had rather bland games, and had the worst graphics out of all the 7th-gen consoles. The Wii U may have 1080p, but the other consoles will likely be moving on to 3-D. (I think the PS3 already has.)

In my experience, the PS2 was shit. It did have good games, but it was shitty hardware.

Well, key one right there.

You must not have experienced it for very long, a CD and DVD player back then was pretty damn nice, the controllers were great and not awkward at all to use, it never crashed unless you really fucked with it.

The only thing that sucked was the fact the games scratched easily.

The graphics weren't THAT bad for the time either.

It's not a gimmick, it's new gameplay. Not exactly new anymore, but different. You know why the Wii and DS sold so much better then other consoles? They were different. The 3DS and Wii U will continue to sell why? Because they're different. They're similar to systems past, but they're still unique enough.

Graphics mean nothing if you're just rehashing the same tired system. That was the problem with PS3, and unless Sony gets their heads out of their asses, that will be the problem with PSVista.

I think the Wii has good games. In house games yes, but what's wrong with that?

My PS2 used to break literally once a year. That's why my family refuses to buy any the PS3.

That's called getting a bad console. Sometimes, you just get a crappy copy of a console. I've had my PS2 for 5 years and it's only broken once. Of course, it's the slim silver one, but still, quite a bit more reliable than the GameCube ever was. Or the 360.

I believe you, but it happened at least twice. Left a bad taste in my mouth, especially considering the PS3 was hardly new.

Ehh, I don't blame you that much.

But I still don't see what you see in the Wii. It's graphics are on a 6th-generation level, and the controls for most games on it are confusing, made worse by the fact that the Wiimote isn't even trying to be shaped for actual video gaming.

:palm:

That's because it's not supposed to be played like an average game. For games that are normal button mashers, they made a classic controller based off the old NES.

No wonder he doesn't know who the Jedi are!

And 1946? Did the Chinese put him to sleep after they used him as a weapon against Japan in WW2?
