Company Name: Red Ribbon Army

Company History: A Group of well trained military elite in the French Foreign legion gave in after the government refused to have them fight in the Algerian war of independence. After France lost, they decided to continue fighting, but on their own terms and began the Red Ribbon Army. Many years later the company was still thriving buying new equipment whenever it could and taking in newer and newer soldiers. Now with an operation in Equatorial Guinea, they hope to overthrow and take out the government with mercs that will be recruited from Cameroon, Congo and the country itself. However, over time the group to further recent French military actions. Soon, with lessened nationalism began to legitimately consider illegally importing vehicles from those it sells them to and began a Contract with the Moroccan Government at one of its smaller bases who would give broken down vehicles to them cheap. Once acquired they needed repair, but were useful. (To fully repair this equipment I will take away 6.5 million and recognize that they are not all in perfect condition). They later became unaligned to the French Army in politics and quickly took the deal with the secretive rich man deploying forces as soon as they could.

Company Structure: Platoons of 80 men each into the total company. Typically Armed with AK Series Weapons, most notably the AK-74u. Though they only have eight platoons at the moment they plan to recruit locals and form 12 platoons for their 12 operators to manage.

It is to prevent certain weapons from getting to the people. But like all other UN laws, it has it's weaknesses and both black markets and paid off military workers are willing to sell them for a fair price.

It's legal to sell a M60 Main Battle Tank?

Ive seen a couple stories of people driving them down Freeways and crashing into things. No idea however if they got those tanks legally.

Then I broke the law by illegally having a worn down M60 that was in Moroccan hands and secretly purchasing it. I'm sure the UN allows mercs to topple governments for pay too. If I am willing to invade a country I am willing to do illegal arms trades.

Actually it is perfectly legal to buy an MBT. It is another matter entirely however to buy the armament. All AFV's you see are "demilitarized" in which case they have their communications gear , armament , and composite armor removed. A Guy near where I lived has a bunch of armored vehicles.

You can drive tanks down roads but they must have the rubber inserts between the treads so it doesn't rip up the road. The situation you're thinking of is a national guardsmen who got laid off and stole a tank from the Armory.

No, I do, and regardless of what point it makes in this case, it only refers to member states of the UN and bars them from selling to certain other member states or non-members. The UN is designed to affect the way nations operate, not how unaffiliated companies are treated when trading for broken down Patton M60 tanks from a Moroccan Military Warehouse where they are storing it. Now, I worked really hard for this app to come out good, changing almost all of my vehicles and pricing most of the items to the last penny. Am I accepted or not?

If I couldn't have Recovery Tanks and a howitzer, you can't have tanks of any kind. Simple.

Isn't your explanation just "bought DM versions in Morocco, remilitarized"?

Then there is no reason you couldn't have received them. The UN has no power in internet sales nor private contracts so I challenge his decision to block us from using, trading, purchasing or acquiring heavily armoured vehicles.

Although there is the question of why you'd need tanks. They aren't much good in urban environments or jungles, and most of Equ Guinea is either of those.

As are oil-sponsored mercenaries being able to overthrow a legitimate government without UN or international uproar. We all try to moderate our realism here.

Also maintenance on a tank versus an IMV, and then usefulness. An IMV can carry troops, equipment, and have good firepower. Easy on maintenance and fuel as well. Sure, it isn't heavily armoured. But speed and manoeuvrability can solve those.

I realize this but two unrealistic actions don't right one. I am with you in your point that the UN would react and completely understand why you stopped international reaction: to keep the rp going. However, the Equatorial Guienese have tanks, so mercs would have little chance without the power to counter their vehicular compilation of vehicles.
