NuukAs soon as the men began singing Iqaluit , Owen realised they were vastly under supplied. Greenland May have fish but they couldn't survive on this alone. He needed to trade with the other states. He ignored the other states for the most part and focused on the north, but he did see some prospects for the future. He began writing to Wisconsin.
To:Führer of Wisconsin

Congratulations on your military glory wise leader. Your prestigious accolades are immortalised in song here in the north. We extend our hand in friendship and hope for long period of peace between our peoples. If we ally, we would be the envy of this continent.
Your friend in the north,
King Owen I
He hated this proposal because of his desire for land in Wisconsin's 'sphere', but he needed this. Another nation he was looking at was New York. New York was known for its military expertise. Their weapons out dated Greenland's which only worried Owen. He began writing again.
To:The Parliament of New York
From:King Owen the Just
My friends of the east. I commend you for keeping democracy in America, when it failed almost everywhere else. Your states is rebound for its armaments and wine. Greenland however, is known for iron, uranium, shipyards and fish. We understand if you dislike us for our government form, but I believe a trade agreement would be mutually beneficial. We understand if you decline.
Sincerely,
King Owen I
Owen was indifferent to New York. The men still needed food though. Virginia was optimal. Once more he began writing.
To:The Glorious State of Virginia
From:King Owen the Just
Great nation, we follow you in your path of indifference. War is a terrible thing that plagues us all. And in dire times of war assistance is needed more than ever. If not with men then with trade. A mutual trade agreement would ensure a stable economy between our peoples. We have uranium, iron, fish, shipyards, oil and gold. All we ask is for some of your famous agricultural products.
Sincerely,
King Owen I
