I'd actually be fine with that. Cyprus isn't as large as Lebanon in population, and Hezbollah can kick ass.

Dude if you read the IC you will see that I have the strongest navy in the world and a very strong airforce. And my troops have already landed. Oh, and I'm allied with Turkey, Syria, and Al Queda, which will all attack you soon

I explained how it happened, and no one objected, and the guy in chargensaid it was ok.
And anyway, my navy is only useful in the mediterranean sea, so it has limited use (that is unless I send them round Africa or through the Suez Canal (which I'll need Egypt's permission for))

I was going to include Egypt but their more African than middle eastern and I don't consider Egypt strong enough to be a prominent western power considering how unstable it is
However Suez Canal is open to all ships by international law isn't it?

As long as Cyprus' 'largest and most powerful air force' is toned down a bit, because frankly, one year with an economy of 24.949 billion and a pop of ~1,100,000 does not seem like a gargantuan force to be reckoned with.
