Not quite yet. Spain’s focus is currently turned to the west rather than the east, especially with growing tensions in the West Indies. Beyond basic trade agreements Spanish presence in the region is light, so it will likely take some time until the King and High Council learn of what is happening.

OOCly, the traditional way to test out a new katana was to slice some hapless passerby. Shogunate forces with new katanas met with the Korean delegation if you catch my drift.
