But it's also important that people who don't want to do that or just want more structure have something that they can always get involved with.

Fair point. Would that something be missions then, or something OP run that's always available at the school?

Any input, feedbacks, are appreciated. As of now, there isn't much to talking about it but the concept of an intelligence agency.

And yes, trap characters are welcome to join.

I am always willing to look over an RP. I probably won't be able to join, as I can only join 3 RPs if I'm really free, which I most certainly not at the moment, but I will never turn down a chance to world build.

What's the premise? Is it stealth focused, or can people go in guns blazing?

I'm compelled on making it more stealth-focused, though I'm not sure whether to go for "Pierce Brosnan's James Bond" route or "Bourne" route. James Bond has its fair share of action and stealth, with charisma, while Bourne is...more realistic on its approach, I assume.

So like missions yes but also training and social events.

I'm imagining this system whereby much of the teaching is done through workshops that aren't really fixed.

So you do most of your basic school online that gives you a standard education but if you're having trouble woth something or want learn extra, more advanced stuff then you go to a workshop that the maths teacher is putting on.

So the teachers are free to do these with their own discretion, theu can just be like "hey Im running a session on algebra or the fall of the roman empire or how to disarm landmines" and people can go to th le ones that interest them or they can not attend if they are in the middle of something else.

These would be like mini eventa or vignettes with one or two posts from the teacher explaining whats going on and then people sort of take it from here and it only has to last until people want to do something else.

As someone who likes to keep their RPs more on the light and fun side, I'd go Bond. You get to have cool, sometimes over-the-top gadgets, the smooth talking social encounters, and of course the death traps to inevitably breakout of. Bourne seemed realistic and grittier with more focus on combat, and there's a lot of combat focused RPs out there.

When you think about it makes sense with the setting as well. These kids are all being brought in at different ages, with different levels of schooling and quite often a variety of... personality issues that would make a traditional approach to schooling them not really viable, some of these kids you'd be happy if you just got them engaged in something constructive and learning social skills while others would have thrived in an academic environment.

Bourne is really not lagging that far behind Bond in terms of unrealistic..ness. It's more a question of tone so go with the vibe that feels more appealing to you.

How to pull off the missions on IC? I'm going to limit the players to probably 10 since larger numbers of players would be hard to pull off when the intelligent agents are more fit for intelligent missions, not combat missions.

I was planning for a large setting for every mission where the characters would be pulling off their respective assignments in that one place.

It would appear that everyone is heavily hyped with EHEG restarting. Looks like I have no choice... *fixes glasses*

I'll compile all the ideas put forth, but I'd also like to try and coax some involvement of RAW into the fray. For those who don't know, RAW, or Robert's Academy of Weaponry, was my own academy RP based in the EHEG-verse, with the difference being the students there were lost, forgotten, or destroyed weapons that were reborn as humans. While I'm not going to just mash the two schools together, there will be chances that the two will meet to gang up on a common entity (this would be something during midterms and semester finals or the sort).

We can also have missions from time to time like Shyluz envisioned, trying to save Extraordinaries who're under threat of federal authority. But I'd like to focus on classes, not because I want to learn or teach, but because classes are the real events in an academy RP that can show off some funny, serious, or even emotional scenes.

Well, you could make it so that the missions have multiple prongs. So if the setting is a casino, group A could be distracting the corrupt businessman looking to buy chemical weapons, while group B would be tasked with obtaining them while they were in the casino's vault. That way everyone's in the same place, but not having to do the same thing and trip over each other.

If you want to keep the missions, then that'd be a could be the time to involve RAW students. Extra firepower and what-not.

And here are the ideas mentioned above, compiled for ease of reading.

1) My ideas for classes and story arcs
2) Atlannia's similar idea for classes
3) Atlannia's idea for how the RP could be run.

The tl;dr is that classes could be online, mentioned in passing, or they would be specific exercises that teachers run to test the student's powers. Missions would be available, and the people left behind would be free to follow their own plots or attend little vignettes held by the teachers.

It's not on you to do that. It's the character concept of Nerf Bat Girl I love, not the character herself. For all I know, I could hate writing her, or just not write her the way I picture her in my head. But while Elizabeth was cool enough to play, I wasn't as excited to play her as I am to play this character.
